    Thankfully it seems that the unilateral decision to allow this infernal, badly executed racket has been rethought. Hallelujah!

    My sources tell me that thankfully, the infernal misaphonia inducing child will be restricted next season.

    I do not believe there should be a statue for Kevin Keegan at Scunthorpe united. A bar or a road perhaps, but not a statue and not a stand. This is not to belittle his achievements at Scunthorpe, but his great achievements happened elsewhere (Anfield, StJames Park or Wembley) and one of those locations is where it should be. I live in Doncaster and the local press and social media are talking about a memorial at the Keepmoat, when I would have thought a blue plaque on his childhood home in Armthorpe would have been enough ! I do not think the clubs supporters should be putting there fundraising efforts into this whilst the club itself is still on it’s uppers.

    Correct

    One of my good friends on Twitter, Fiddlers Elbow seems to think we’ll do ok and he seems pretty clued up.

    Personally, I think we sneak into the playoffs with some ups and downs along with way, make it to the final and lose (but I’m somewhat of an optimist).

    Was he based out of the White Hart in Brigg, and a member of the BI Iron? Strange chap.

    I refrain from most of the club’s output anyway so if people want to pay for more ,that’s up to them.It becomes a hard sell if it’s signing announcement and everyday news some expect .
    I have the biggest reservation over the ticket allocation Queue jumping for £60.People like me pay full price for nearly all games and the club know how much I spend on tickets and games I attend through their ticketing system .Somebody who attends no games can spend £60 and get preference over fans who attend the majority of games at full price.Thats grubby from the club.
    As for moaning I think my reservations on fan involvement are pretty consistent and are usually my only concerns. Obviously blowing off after games is a separate issue.
    That said,there are those on here looking for Michelle to tread on the cracks of the pavement to hammer her for while expecting her to pay for their pleasure

    That’s the point fella – you’re straight back on the attack of anything you deam which doesn’t represent your views.

    This thread should be about a fan been banned for abusive language of a female employee of SUFC.

    Are you actually bothered if she is ok?

    I don’t represent any Supporters Club but if you want to widen it to the Supporters Club you represent on a Sat start a new thread…

    Kindly smarten up your syntax and spelling skills, if you’re to post on this forum ;
    “deem”, “being”, “anything you deam (sic) which doesn’t represent your views” ????

    Gender does not come into play with regard to football stewarding. The individual in question knew she wasn’t applying for a job on the make-up counter at Boots, and industrial language is one of the cornerstones of English football spectating. Your point is moot. ( Look it up ).

    Absolutely pointless but every time I see ‘Butler Keeps Winning’ I’m reminded of ‘Boys Keep Swinging’ by Bowie. Apropos of nothing.

    Unfortunately Butler doesn’t always work it out.

    The lack of intelligence, coherence, spelling, appreciation of opinions, common decency, and possibly hygiene, is quite amazing when one glances at these Facebook group things.

    Earl on tuther side asking can’t we all get along.
    Says we’re all in it for the same reason Mmmm. Can’t buy that I’m afraid, never going to convince me, Dave is all about Dave, not that we haven’t realised that from his conception, if anyone as ever looked like a parasite he fits the bill in a social context.
    What a state off affairs that he has to keep that positive pretence up forever, well at least while he’s here anyway.
    I don’t feel the need to get on with anyone let alone fan groups nor should I,I just go along and support the team surely that’s enough.
    I get called out all the time on here that’s what happens on forums when you don’t agree, no biggie.

    Yet he seems to be the one stirring the pot, at every available opportunity. The comments he has managed to garner regarding Bru are despicable.

    Moaning for the sake of moaning. Plenty of areas around the ground to enjoy the game if it’s not your thing.

    IMO he’s added significantly to the atmosphere at home/away games which generally makes it a more enjoyable experience for all

    IMO being the significant part of your statement. This has been imposed undemocratically, activates my misophonia, and makes it a far less enjoyable experience In My Opinion.

    Right. I came on here for a rationale discussion. Unfortunately as the above comment demonstrates, its not possible on this forum.
    You are entitled to your own views .
    The unity group is growing week by week
    I dont expect everyone to get involved or agree with what we do .
    I could say all the things I dont like about other fans and there behaviour or the misleading information they provide …. but i wont.
    What i will do is be there, present and active in the collective efforts to make our club great again. Uti

    Why would I want to watch a <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>lower league Spanish club with multiple drummers, in Alicante?

    <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>Hercules CF of Alicante city currently play in the equivalent of L1:
    <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>
    <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>Seasons by EFL Equiv:
    Premier = 22 seasons
    Championship = 50
    L1 = 27
    L2 = 3

    the place where people go who have no imagination.

    <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>North Lincolnshire = 328 square miles.
    Alicante province = 2,688 sq miles
    <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>
    Scunthorpe population = 81,286
    Alicante city population = 358,720

    Highest point in North Lincolnshire = 168m
    Highest point in Alicante province = 1,559m
    There are over 50 peaks in excess of 1,000m in height.

    Alicante has over 125 kilometers of coast line with 89 (2025) Blue Flag beaches (highest in Spain).

    North Lincolnshire has approximately 40 miles of estuarine coastline.

    1,574 rivers run through the province.
    The longest is the Segura at 195miles.

    87 rivers run through NL.
    The longest is the Trent at 160miles in total length.

    An international airport, an international seaport, miles upon miles of glorious pristine blue flag beaches, hundreds of mountains, lakes and rivers to explore, Europe’s only desert sits in the province next door, I could even jump ship and go and watch Elche in La Liga if I so desired (17 miles Hercules to Elche stadium to stadium).

    <strong class=”d4pbbc-bold”>Imagine… if you’re the sort who goes abroad and only eats pie, chips & peas, fish & chips, chicken, chips & beans washed down by John Smiths, who loves bingo, tribute acts, karaoke bars, happy hours, drag shows, British themed pubs etc – you can always go to Benidorm… imagine (yuk!)

    Fair comment, but to live in a country that still endorses Bullfighting, throwing donkeys off churches, and dragging goats during religious ceremonies, surely implies your endorsement of such barbarism.

    There was no fight . A heated discussion at best. I cant divulge the reason as its a private matter.
    There are maybe 6 toxic fans who make unfounded accusations on a regular basis.
    . If you would like to attend a committee meeting to address your concerns you are more than welcome .

    Was the private matter Marzipan ?

    I’m assembling an email group of our remaining away opponents’ CEO’s, and intend to be in touch to implore the banning of the drummer boy. The evidence and argument used in my narrative may bend the truth somewhat, as will the identity of the sender.

    At the end of the day, the drumming child seems to have been imposed unilaterally, with no thought for those who find it irritating beyond belief. A vote seems necessary in my opinion, and let’s hope clubs with more taste choose to ban this tone deaf, and rhythmically inept moron.

    Why the flying fig would I want to watch a lower league Spanish club with multiple drummers, in Alicante, the place where people go who have no imagination.

    Great day at the football, but please god can we ban that infernal drumming child. It’s intrusive, irritating and unnecessary.

    I imagine you’re a real livewire at party’s you miserable git.

    Do you go to parties to listen to a drummer playing loud and badly ? Maybe I wouldn’t enjoy the sort of parties you attend.
