Whether it’s down to his pre match intake of alcohol or he’s just a nasty person it’s time he addressed his anger issues.
This is so presumptuous as to be laughable.
April 11, 2026 at 4:47 pm #319218There is Butler’s side, but he is the professional in this scenario and I don’t think he can have his cake and eat it.
When there are fans referring to others on publicly viewable social media as parasites and another making bad taste cancer comments and still being lauded by the club then in my opinion they are on thin ice too. That is the point of my initial response

He may have meant Butler!

April 15, 2026 at 3:11 pm #319433Without starting another thread.
Beware, you bet fans will have to be beware, the new replacements for the brick walls that York city have had just led to the ban of 50+ York fans.
Celebrating a last minute winner fans going ape shit the new structure collapses no pitch encroachment no nothing really just a ban for celebrating.
Not from the club may I add, just down to ground rules.
Suppose that’s the kind of barrier Scunny will be looking at for our wall replacement.
Obviously 64 will have no sympathy he believes everyone should just sit there and shout hooray with no emotion mind.April 15, 2026 at 4:57 pm #319434That’s the point fella – you’re straight back on the attack of anything you deam which doesn’t represent your views.
This thread should be about a fan been banned for abusive language of a female employee of SUFC.
Are you actually bothered if she is ok?
I don’t represent any Supporters Club but if you want to widen it to the Supporters Club you represent on a Sat start a new thread…
Kindly smarten up your syntax and spelling skills, if you’re to post on this forum ;
“deem”, “being”, “anything you deam (sic) which doesn’t represent your views” ????Gender does not come into play with regard to football stewarding. The individual in question knew she wasn’t applying for a job on the make-up counter at Boots, and industrial language is one of the cornerstones of English football spectating. Your point is moot. ( Look it up ).
April 15, 2026 at 5:12 pm #319435Imagine having your feelings hurt by my OP so much that you need to base, such a poorly punctuated and condescending response, around vocab.
Was this, allegedly, drunk and serial abusive, angry banned man one of your drinking buddies or just one of your forum frrrrieennnddds?
😂
April 15, 2026 at 5:18 pm #319437Don’t believe his feelings were hurt he was simply pointing out how dim you are.
April 15, 2026 at 5:25 pm #319438Aye. Pretty dim. I’ll be at those playoffs though – unlike some others 😂

Being at a game, whether home or away, or being a season ticket holder, doesn’t make you any more of a supporter than anyone else.
Some people work, some have family issues, some live a long way from Scunny and others can’t afford it.
You might realise all this when you grow up.
April 15, 2026 at 6:04 pm #319440Aye. Pretty dim. I’ll be at those playoffs though – unlike some others
I’m guessing the pretty part is up for discussion aswell as your intelligence.
April 15, 2026 at 6:53 pm #319442Easy to support a winning team.
Going when its a cold night, mid table and there’s live football on a free to air channel, well..April 15, 2026 at 6:59 pm #319443Round of applause for the SS who said he’s going to the playoffs, another super Uber fan amongst us.

Am glad you, personally, didn’t miss the inference for missing the games within the thread topic Deerey.
Predictably the other replies did in their haste to join another, infamous, predictable and parochial Iron Bru pile on.
Maybe I’ll have to be less subtle in future and resort to name-calling as per others.
Want to have the choice to see the playoffs? (as well as every other game for years and years) – then act accordingly, don’t be dim and don’t get yourself banned.
😂
April 16, 2026 at 8:06 am #319457Your incredibly clever banter of course implies the Iron will have a home play off game. Sadly by no means certain or even likely according to 2 or 3 of our more pessimistic posters.

Hopefully we’ll continue to pick up points and stay fifth and be playing, at GP, on Tues 28th against 6th.
Weirdly that’ll be disappointing to some reading this.
April 16, 2026 at 8:56 am #319460PS off thread but regarding ticket sales for the play offs – it’ll be interesting to see how many tickets ST holders can purchase this time around for sales controlled by The Iron.
Wasn’t it, a maximum, of four for the final last season? That caused some to lose their minds.
I can’t recall if this was open to only 24/25 ST holders or if it was also extended to new Early Bird purchasers of 25/26 ST too.
Hopefully we get to the point of, close to, full houses and if so it’ll only be a matter of weeks before we’re reading that someone whose followed them since 1654 can’t get a ticket.
April 16, 2026 at 9:09 am #319461Agree with a post on another thread
loose to Wdstone
win Eastliegh
finish 6th or 7th with an away fixture which will IMO be the end of a great first season back in the NL, as a footnote depending who stays or jumps ship next season may well be a lot tougher with expectations heightened due to over achieving this season.Obviously i hope im totally wrong and we win the play offs .. just dont think we are good enough this time and i fancy Southend to go up with York.
April 16, 2026 at 9:18 am #319463Wanting an away fixture is not so traitorous thinking as you imply simonsays. Nothing wrong with preferring an away fixture given some of our decent performances against good sides. Home form has hardly been sparkling recently particularly in the trenches.
April 16, 2026 at 9:20 am #319464We’ll get no where near a full house, and unless Saturday’s result gives us a guaranteed home draw season ticket holders will only be given 24hrs to buy with there guaranteed seat, there’s no time to do anything else.
Twill be one big kick in the goolies for fans and one big bollocks from Butler if we end up playing away with little time to arrange travel not like there going to be local derby games
If we do get the home draw, the away following will be very sparse to say the least, so they’ll be more than plenty of seats free for our fans use, probably beyond the club to have the foresight to use them mind.
I take it your referring to PD and Stu about not being able to get a ticket again.lol.April 16, 2026 at 9:22 am #319466Minded to agree that we’ve not been playing well lately so probably doubtful we’ll progress.
As you say, hope we’re both wrong and we can string some one off performances together to bookend a brilliant season.
PS be careful using words like ‘loose’ and ‘there’ (rather than ‘lose’ and ‘their’) on here – the resident, self imposed, academics on this thread will have you hung, drawn and quartered rather than focusing on the contents of your replies 👍 😂
April 16, 2026 at 9:41 am #319468I take it your referring to PD and Stu about not being able to get a ticket again.lol.
TBH id forgotten about the later! 😊
I can remember, back in the day, ‘huge fans who’d been following them since 1654 (but not been able to get to a game recently)’ coming out of the woodwork and having their angst written letters printed in The Scunthorpe Telegraph.
Happens every season when success means tickets are in short supply.
😂
