Mick is spot on. Again – we sat too deep and this inevitably means that there will be more balls into the box.
I really hate seeing us attempt to shut a side down rather than have them worrying about what’s happening in their box.
I agreee about the ‘dozen points’ in particular.
Most of the points we have chucked away this season have, indeed, been stolen from us in and around time added on.
It’s an ongoing issue which needs to be addressed.3 users thanked author for this post.
Worst 45 of the season?
Yes, Deerey – my ageing brain cell kicks in again.
Fear not for Gateshead’s loss – they have brought Chapman in!
So. Where do Bradley and Rooks fit into all this?
Thought our ball control first half was classy.

I am not unhappy with Mahady but feel that we could maybe do a bit better. He’s decent enough but someone of a similar talent but with – say – a hundred games under his belt…
Fitz is/was a hard act to follow.1 user thanked author for this post.
Good that E. Wing is playing well.

All their long throwz are illegal.
Is there any TV coverage of the game against PS?
I’m sorry to have a go but I was rather unimpressed by Scales.

Brilliant management!
I was purring with Roberts and Ewing back transforming the side.
Well done Carlton – but as a non-gambler I’d have put money on you missing your hat trick. (Was really rooting for you, though but.)1 user thanked author for this post.
This needs to be scientifically proved.
I enjoyed the game – it was entertaining.

If Barrows is fit but not match fit – 80 (?) minutes tonight would be good – same for Rosie.
No proper attempt to replace Fitz. That was not a good call. It has hounded us.
Yes, he has a few problems in his game but I feel, that had he stayed, we might have had quite a few more points in the bag.
Ironically, I saw quite a few opposition GKs last season in NLN who looked substantially better than any we have used this season.2 users thanked author for this post.
4 extremely important outfield players are not in the side. The balance seems to have gone awry – even though Westbrook is starting to look a pretty decent import.
A downward plunge will only be halted as better players return.
Other managers will be watching this game paying attention to the fine detail whilst licking their chops.Groan. But fair dos – Altrincham scored some fine goals.
Better.
A better side could have had 5 against us. (3 in the first 7 minutes,)
CM has to be better in stopping forward runs by their players.AB is having to deal with a heavily depleted squad. End of.
Missed loadsa chances?
I thought Beestin was well below par. Take Ewing out of the mix … we were lucky to get a point.

I do wish that we could have weekly updates on the lengthy injury list. It is relevant.

If you don’t take your chances …
Wish we’d played like this in the first half!
Far too many long balls forward. It just about worked last week – not so good today though.
At least it’s not a repeat of home to Alfreton last season when every long ball forward was brainless.Do we know that the game is on?
For me, quite a few 7/10s in a pretty good display in a truly scrappy encounter.
Some special passing and ball-winning. -
