Back in reality and my prediction 2-1 loss based on Gateshead recent form coupled with a voice in my head swinging from the Irons mindset of consolidation a high play off spot to complacent we are already their and turn up not fully committed .. AB may even rest Rowley and or others again…

Hope my prediction is wrong again and its a happy ending for all the traveling fans.

Massage
Was an Easter and early birthday treat Rene and indeed i received an excellent service very strong fingers in all the right places and i fell asleep soon after Somchai left in her Tuktuk… 20 quid plus a fiver tip for fuel (thanks Donald).

Happy Easter to all Bruers though apparently we are all so toxic and nasty maybe will not celebrate it

Fully behind the starting eleven, mix and match, rest some guys give some others chance to shine in different positions particularly up top. Could prove useful going into the playoffs with more options, strong bench still if we need to rejig things later on.

Being treated like a bloody training match. Half a second string lineup with a completely new formation (4-1-3-2?). Don’t get it myself.

Finishing 4th or 5th is no big deal, we are in the playoffs and anyway we have a good away record this season, chill out enjoy the ride, you’d have all settled for mid table before a ball was kicked this season, the team and management have done a brilliant job after promotion IMO.

Too many changes, no urgency, no effort to trouble the keeper, feel sorry for the travelling fans, hopefully things will change, going through the motions

No big deal to you maybe Ironawe but to several thousand others it is, do you not think they would like to see a home playoff, or a couple of hundred going making a trip of at least 150 miles at quick notice.
Kids at school how they supposed to make the trip.

Would be nice if the management team came out and let the fans know if they’ve downed tools until the playoffs, especially for those intending to travel.

54 minutes, 1 powder puff effort on goal, zero urgency, unable to string 2 passes together, headless chickens at the back, Barrows thinking he’s a keeper. Probably the worst performance of the season so far. But never mind, IA is happy…clearly hasn’t looked at the live table thinking finishing 4th or 5th is guaranteed.

End of the day Scunthorpe will have nominated this game way up there on who they wanted to play at Xmas and Easter,
One for fans to travel to in numbers like Hartlepool brought 600 on Saturday.
Butler again treats the fans with distain, if I were the board I’d be pulling mi hair out do they really expect casuals to turn out in greater numbers for the last 2 home games with his attitude.
Save your money for the playoffs lads.

Really is nothing fake about the frustration. Incoherent play for first 45 minutes, like NI had no idea Smith was on pitch for first 30 minutes (playing central?!). We’re playing ourselves out of form with performances like this.
