March 16, 2026 at 10:23 am #317586When our local Rugby Union club, Tynedale were in National League 1 they had to travel to Jersey. A round trip of over 1,000 miles!
But yes, safe journey to those who are travelling.

March 16, 2026 at 11:54 am #317587this is our game in hand i think, and it has to be a must win against the bottom team in the league

March 16, 2026 at 12:41 pm #317588Predicting 1-0 win. Correct on Saturday – I think
March 16, 2026 at 12:56 pm #317589First goal vital, let’s start on front foot, no lethargy of recent matches. Interesting that AB tried 4-4-2 unfortunately didn’t come off but can’t blame him for trying – might work with Howe playing off one of Farrel/Whitehall as a plan B later in season
March 16, 2026 at 1:49 pm #317591Is HOWE back Ironawe, how do you know something that we do not normally learn until 1 hour pre kick off.
We have needed Howe for goals. Pat Jones is great but his goal per games is not as much as Howe.
As you say, we need to score first and go for it, get our goal difference up.March 16, 2026 at 2:03 pm #317592Enjoyed watching 442 in first half. Didn’t quite come off but better on the eye using more width. Given more practice it could work.

March 16, 2026 at 2:43 pm #317597Well the club haven’t announced Howe as extended his loan spell like they did with Campbell the other day. Lol.
March 16, 2026 at 3:28 pm #317598The last time they won at home was Boxing Day!
6 goals from their 6 league games since then.
4 defeats and 2 draws in those same six games.
They’ve taken just 1 point from their last 6 games and only 4 points from the last 30 available!
We’re W2 D2 L2 from our last 6 away games.If we don’t beat these, then…
I’m going:
Truronians 1-5 Scunthorpians @ 66/1
Truronians 1-6 Scunthorpians @ 100/1
£1 on each!1 user thanked author for this post.

March 16, 2026 at 5:57 pm #3176074-3 Scunny safe travels guys and girls
March 16, 2026 at 6:38 pm #317608Well the club haven’t announced Howe as extended his loan spell like they did with Campbell the other day. Lol.
Can’t see why he would come back.
If we play 4-4-2 he’s behind Whitehall, Farrell, Dausch & Beestin.
If we play 4-3-3 (assuming Whitehall & Roberts are 2) then he’s behind Jones, Smith, Hurst & Beestin and Beestin can’t get a start. Probably struggle to make the bench.1 user thanked author for this post.

I think his loan was to season end BUT there was no recall in the first 28 days.
Now he is subject to a 24 hr recall clause.
And to all those travelling have a safe and enjoyable trip. And if you think our trip is long remember that Gateshead recently
visited and that was about 930 miles round trip and I think 57 fans made it and saw ‘the heed’ win.March 16, 2026 at 10:42 pm #317611No his loan was for a initial month, highlighted on the club web page 6th of February.
He’s only behind others by your account not by many other fans, no goals Dauch or Howe 9 goals in the NL alone this season
8 of his goals ending in wins and the other in a draw, and we can’t find room for him on the bench, give over.2 users thanked author for this post.

This an observation, nothing to do with what I think, I don’t pick the team.
March 17, 2026 at 10:08 am #317626Well, he seems to be playing with a smile on his face now that he’s playing in his position (No9) and scoring goals again.
I may add, scoring goals in a struggling team!
Hopefully he’ll continue to find the back of the net for them in the remaining games and present Stan & Michael Sc(h)ofield with a nice ‘problem’.
Better still, if he’s recalled for the play offs and he ‘Prison Breaks’ us out of this league.Over to you Dec!
We believe in you!2 users thanked author for this post.

March 17, 2026 at 6:56 pm #317642Whitehall benched.
March 17, 2026 at 7:02 pm #317643He shouldn’t be needed tonight, don’t mind resting him in the easier games, so long he’s fit for the playoffs.
March 17, 2026 at 7:04 pm #317644Whitehall benched.
Don’t think he’s been fully fit for awhile now , he’s dragging himself around the pitch of late IMO , perhaps having a breather and coming on if needed second half could be a good move by AB, we really shouldn’t need him on the pitch tonight against Truro TBF.
March 17, 2026 at 7:06 pm #317645Posted same time as you Awaywego I wasn’t nicking your thunder by saying virtually the same thing, should be a comfortable win with DW watching from the bench.

March 17, 2026 at 7:16 pm #317646Any details on Cal’s injury?
March 17, 2026 at 7:19 pm #317647Had an injection and back on Saturday according to Butler.
Not quite sure about the lineup tonight, guessing it’s a 4-3-3 with a forward line of Farrell, Jones and Beestin.
March 17, 2026 at 7:22 pm #317648I can’t forecast the result until I know which iron team has turned up. If it’s the one that presses the opposition and gets the ball forward quickly and accurately, then I can’t see us losing. If it’s the one that looks like it’s never played together before and therefore it must be someone else’s job to mark, press or shoot, then who knows the result. Truro 2-0 or 2-1 or will we be lucky and get a draw!
