I am away at the money so only caught the last 25 minutes on DAZN. Were we that lacklustre for the previous 65 minutes? Play off run will be a short one based on recent performances. I think we have only won one game by more than one goal since 20 January.

Quite understandable after last Mondays team he put out, if he and the team can’t be arsed don’t expect fans to be.
Don’t think his fan comments and actions will have helped either.

Very poor game .. this team aint no way good enough and where ever we finish and however the play off configuration unfolds we wont get past the first game , zero momentum and AB cant polish a turd all be a shiny play off assured turd.

Witnessed my second Scunny defeat in a week as I’ve been to watch the egg-chasers lose 44-19 to my lad’s old club Tynedale.

I’ll take a less than convincing 1-0 win after that debacle at the Heed last Monday. Must show some sort of character?

Poor game and the windy conditions didn’t help, highlight that classic Roberts free kick, lowlight some strange refereeing decisions but it’s a win which keeps us 5th and a home tie in the first playoff game just got a little nearer. Don’t think we are good enough to go up but you never know how the playoffs will go so fingers 🤞

They can play better than that and yes you never know with the playoffs. Find it difficult to guage performances like that now playoffs are secured. How much have they been to not break a leg?

FGR and Southend both better form and cant see us beating either Dale or Carlisle if by some miracle we do win the first PO game… not sure i could stomach AB chest puffing n preening on the open top bus anyway.

No not posted anything remotely controversial ovver yonder .. though admit i dont give a flying fig what they say about Bru and its membership simply because some on here have a different opinion theres.

My previous post was merely MY OPINION and the reality / likelyhood of events as i see things panning out .. i dont think our performance level and consistency has been at a high enough level to win the play offs BUT i certainly hope im wrong as we do win every match.

My dislike of AB might be a little micro factor within my view point ( zero spite) but im basing it squarely on form and current / recent performances against those of others taking part in the play offs.

You didn’t even think we’d make the playoffs or promotion last season IFA.
Like I told you last season the opposition overhaul were so inferior they really were and we only got up via the playoffs, this season though where we expected and got better opposition against the top 9 teams no one is outstandingly better than us, even York know on our day we can beat them.
Don’t get me wrong imo we should be higher up the league than where we are but that’s down to one man in certain games.

Thats true i have Scunny down to finish mid table at best thi season and probably will next season depending who stays n who jumps ship.
I AGREE WE HAVE OVER ACHIEVED THIS SEASON and without conceding all those late goals may well have been even better … non of this means i feel the need to bow down to the shining knight AB whilst he may have done well on the pitch his failure to accept any criticism and off field his attitude towards some sections of the fans base hasnt endeared him to some people.

Done Southend twice and took 4 points off Vegan United so there is hope indeed. Anyway,a jolly darn the owd Wealdstone and looks like trains and tube playing ball. Anything can happen in the play offs as York unfortunately found out last season, Up The Iron !
We must finish 5th at all costs as I like meat in my burgers and that M42 is horrendous at tea time.
