Probably a few hundred down as of last year, however last years ST sales, and average attendance was higher than the historical norm. If we hit 2500 we will still be selling more than we did for the majority of our time in the EFL.

Could the club do more ? Absolutely. Personally I don’t think there has been a big enough push on social media nor the around the town to convince casual supporters to invest in a ST. Something to work on next year as 3,000 is doable under the right circumstances. Although I don’t buy into the notion that signing players by now would’ve made a difference, people get desperate for signings earlier every year.

Also it’s a bit rich coming from the cods about crowds when the were averaging 3,000 year on year in the national league after basically abandoning the club because fenty ran them on shoestring.

The close season is the quietest, so that is when we should be most active with anything. Keep people asking questions after something posted. At the moment the only thing has literally been “Watching the grass grow” !

It is a 52 wk operation and that is how communication should be – telling people things. Then you never know it may attract interest of someone new.

I, like many do find a reluctance to give any bits of interest provoking information.

They have names signed – could easily have said some intro vids being worked on. I am sure little teases could have been said.
The close season is the most important time for the club to really engage with the fans – yes it would help boost season ticket sales.

But to qualify the ‘season ticket boost’ – we have to remember the economy is not healthy and some regulars may actually be worried about their job coupled with rising bills.

All many have had is literally watching ‘Grass Grow’ !

It’s gone silent so that AB doesn’t make a woman’s boob of himself like he did last year insisting Maison Campbell was our No1 and no other was needed?
    Maybe he’s been muzzled?

But Alcazar he has retained both Jones and Campbell for the coming season.

Going to show how right he is !!!!!

Can only wish him the best. Been a credit as a professional and stood by the club when others would have have not had
    a second thought.

The fans will back his decision 100% and down the road he knows where this club and fans are.

Lives at Beckingham two miles from Gainsborough and is a smashing bloke, a great signing for Trinity

That’s what I thought Michael. Putting a good squad together again. Several ex – Iron in it.

They’ve cheated, got caught, hoped they’d get a paltry fine for admitting it but have been rightly hammered by the EFL. If they had any decency as a club they’d take their medicine and hide away but they’re still bleating about it and appealing.
Karma is a bitch and Harwood-Bellis’s binoculars taunt to Ayling has condemned him to be an internet meme forever.

Yes – the players binocular jibe showed that they knew what was happening, perhaps he should be suspended.

Can you imagine what would have happened to a non – league club if they had done it to get into the league ?

    Well done to the EFL.

The sanction had to be the severest possible otherwise what would be the point.
Also seems further investigations are going on about other personnel’s conduct.

The guy sent to do the spying did what he was told to do therefore he must keep his job.

And he scored after only a few minutes on his debut.
Maybe he was playing in his preferred position.

And believe it but he is still listed TODAY in our 1st Team Squad Head & Shoulder photographs !

Always rated Kyle. Was developing well despite being played out of position.
6ft 3 pacy and not intimidated and we got rid and still not replaced him.
That manager deserved sacking, similar to the one who forced Lyle Taylor out.

    Good luck to Kyle.

In these days of survival you do what you have to do.

In light of Rachel Reeves employment taxes and the increases in Minimum Wage it will hit hard. I read where someone with 5 fulltime employees needed to raise an extra £29,000 for the year. So if it helps good.

A Dec Howe with experience (NLN) Not for me.

Difference between the two is Blackett is rapid. Dec Howe for all his qualities isn’t. I see what you’re saying though. Where would he play in a butler 11 ?

Par for the course would be on the bench and give last 20 mins per game. Or out on loan.

Possibly could have had 2 more names to leave.

The option on Oli is good, it means we have met the league rule regarding wage increase.
So anyone who wants him has to make an offer.

Don’t mind a Manager with attitude but if it goes wrong because they got ‘clever’ then accept comments.

We had another Manager who got clever and went 352 – it did not work and we ended up getting relegated, the ‘morons’ were proved right !

Roberts leaving will free up some money. Ewing is class but hasn’t been first choice this season. Need to get Westbrook signed. Wondering if Hakeeb Adeluken will be making a return. We need to 2 new CB’s, hopefully Rose is an option we already have. We need a quality centre forward. The retained list will make interesting reading.

Hakeeb has been retained by Doncaster. Plus his agent will want too much money.

Do you think it might have been different if Whitehall hadn’t gone off injured awaywego? We looked shell shocked after the early goal but after Whitehall went off we looked bereft.

That team should have got promoted.
