Butler will do exactly what he has just done !
Not surprised because he is so clever.
Claret and blue jester hats everywhere.
And why not. That is what it is all about is it not, and if there is any ‘Tat’ as long as the club make the profit so what – people can buy if they want or don’t if they don’t.
To all those going have a great Sunday to all those listening enjoy the audio.

Should it happen and next season is in Div 2 the club will manage the boost in league revenue properly and not get carried away.
One thing it will do is make the club more attractive for higher clubs loanees.
Depends what sort of contract he wants and how much, for me. He’s good but not in my essential bracket
Security may be of greater importance for him so perhaps agree on a wage but want a longer deal perhaps.
Also based on his he happy and settled. Do think rising costs in light of all the tax rises will increase pressure across the lower leagues so suspect some clubs may reduce squad sizes. So that is 1 keeper sorted for next season then ?

Congratulations to Misterton Mick.
Enjoy Tuesday night.

Clark was only unloved because Wraith took the ridiculous decision to sack John Duncan who was doing an excellent job, Clark unfairly picked up quite a few supporters flack as a result. Nobody dislikes Butler because the Itchy and Scratchy show got cancelled.
Not far off IRONAWE. There was a couple of bits not mentioned.
A player coach with duties of improving the forwards thought ideal.
Would help the younger players and Billy in his coaching aspirations.Answer was terse to say the least.
After 99 games sensitivity should be a thing of the past !
Tetchy, petulant whatever he need to dop the tantrums when supporters make comments based on their observations. They pay their money they are entitled to comment.
Other managers with far more experience have tried silly formations at home, it is known by so many that 442 or as near as works at GP but silly formations do not.
But certainly hope Cal is fine and works his magic. Best to you all in these play-offs.
Possibly due to a few things…
Ewings first real season at this level was always going to be hard for him to matain that excellent level he started at
Injuries to the back four and GK changes meaning that back 5 has never been settled and conceded to often and too easily
loss of TSF, Farrell and dare I say it Carlton who all often found the net, whilst i know the latter meant that P Jones could come in i do think had either of the other 2 still have been here we may be putting teams to bed a little easier.
Then as you mention this insistence on passing sideways and backwards which is fine IF there was at least an attempt to penetrate the opposition defence and get a shot away which for a fair while now there doesn’t seem to have been.
Chuckle Brothers football tactic and the only one !
Problem is someone thinks he is clever. They eventually catch themselves out – remember that season when we were cruising at the top of div 1 playing the football that suited us, that people enjoyed. Then the formation changes arrived 352, 2341,2332 and all the other delights that ‘cleverness’ delivered.
And we know what happened at the end, I fear those days are back. Hope I am wrong.

Well that was impressive Misterton Mick. Just about there I think.
Up against an ex Iron in Olafela Olamola.
Never really got a chance with us.
I think the problem some non Bruers have is they consider Bru to be a band of brothers who speak with one voice, hence “that lot”. If they had a read they would see the diversity of opinion, it would be bloody boring if we thought as one.
Well said.

Are the club going to let Bru sponsor any players next season given our ‘negativity’? Read a comment the other day: ‘who is this Iron Bru anyway? Never heard of them’. Only every time Roberts scores a goal at GP.
Who are IRON BRU ? Ask those members of staff – Office and Players who got dumped by the disappearing ‘owner’ I am sure they will in the blank parts of their knowledge.
Who are IRON BRU ? Ask those that were at risk from a litigation threatening previous owner that IRON BRU protected.
This is a great forum and remains independent because it did not sell out to a previous owner.
Getting very tight at the top.

Thank you BoyceButler26 for the link. Nice to hear GIBBO as well.
Always give benefit of doubt until proved otherwise.
Stubborn and arrogant to supporters and this latest Gateshead excuse matches others. Tell the fans what you are going to do then they can decide if they want to save hard earned money. Keep treating them this way and the gates will fall and revenues drop.
So he made 6 changes, the issue was yet again a slow start and how many times has that been said. But usual attitude “we have only lost …..” . The instruction should be get out there and make things happen – fans said they could tell instantly they were not bothered ! Our Physio would never allow that to happen.
But now he has an extended contract !

AB is in charge.
If it wasn’t authorised then probably on bench on Monday !
Very sad to hear this. Loved his club and his commentaries were from the heart. My wife listened to the Orient one, I was of course in Wembley,. She said it was fantastic and said Shep got very emotional at what HIS club had achieved.
Knew Shep for many years and he was a gentleman. Set up his own licensed trade business and despite all the work when you work for yourself he stayed loyal to his club. When he called it a day and retired a little of the passion went out the commentary.
God Bless Tony. RIP.

The only time I have found IRON BRU argumentative is when someone tried to shut down the Forum to prevent Supporters fighting to save their club.
BRU stood firm when threatened on more than one occasion with legal action. All that was wanted was when people commented to watch the wording of their comments and that they had the facts to back up their statements. It made no difference which group they aligned with – they defended both equally.

Whilst the loss isn’t great I think it’s clear they are on the right path and with legacy issues being put to bed in the future I think the club have done extremely well to get to this position.
As IRONAWE says we seem to be on the right path with the board indication that the loss will almost halve for 25/26. Then followed by further reduction the season after with prudent control.
So further off field fundraising must continue and if possible increase to give fans different options to choose from and different levels of financial support on top of ticket money.
Gain promotion at the end of this season then our league donation would increase but it should not then be frittered away, we still have debts to clear. So good luck to the board.
The only problem with that was when Howe came on there was a noticeable gap in the centre of the park as he was playing more as a second striker. As long as we don’t get over run in midfield and start playing more hoof ball…
Hoof ball will not work for long in Div 2 that is a fact neither will over elaboration when passing. Need to be faster, cleaner and into space for the runner.
Looking like whatever league 2 Centre Backs are priority – based on all the comments from fans. And I said before – at home 442 works for us. We have the wingers [ Andy does sound keen about Hurst should DRFC release him].
“Who was that Masked Man ?”
Hi Ho Scun United………
Comments read as though someone is over elaborating by thinking too much !
Did the same last season, sometimes the supporters are right.

Check out Kieran Maguire pages regarding balance sheets. They are sobering to say the least.
Revenue has to raised to be able to make recruitment a little easier. Gain promotion to the EFL this season and the club will get a cash boost. But up to then whatever it takes – sponsoring a bit of the pitch I cannot see an issue if some want to do it and for those who don’t then they have their choice.
As yet no Euro Lottery Jackpot winner has knocked on the door so until then we do whatever it takes.

Good to get it sorted. Next the Council are making an announcement on Quibell Park.
