Last thursday Mr Butler said he would be here on Monday. That he was player no.24 in total and that was it.

    Let us see.

Whitehall got some crap service yesterday…………..I thought Whitehall’s play improved when Butterfield and Gale came on. Principally because one of the centre backs then had to plug the holes that Gale kept popping up into. Beestin should have been doing this. The management team got it wrong asking him to defend Westbrooke rather than let him play his more natural game!

So the 1st game and the set up is to deal with them ? Targeting yields mediocrity.

Open at home for 1st game, gate of 5111 and it should have been a simple instruction – get at them as quickly as possible at every opportunity but nothing learned from last season I fear.

Leaving 5 mins early was a big Bartonscorpion trait, some may recall. Some just can’t be arsed with the 15-20mim car park exit. I get it but wouldn’t want to do it.

Well remembered, he didn’t like it when Kyle did well. He used to drive all over supporting the Iron.

Hated over elaboration in passing and tactics – would imagine there would be many utterings today.

Already in it and looking forward to it.

As usual despite any Butler tactics masterclass I will never predict a league defeat – I know ‘a fool and his predictions soon thwarted’ .

Hope we can get a few more this season. Remember it is not just the predicting it actually supports the financial cost for Matt.

If one is not an ‘Insider’ will one be allowed to be really engaged with the thought processes of Mr Butler.

So long as it’s not bronze etc, or it’ll go the same way as the memorial to the 28 who died on June 1st 1974.

Thank you for saying this Alcazar. The flight of Mallards was a fitting tribute to my colleagues.

Lawrie McMenemy turned him down but Jack Brownsword saw potential and the rest as they say is history.

Jack mentored him well and taught him never to forget where he came from and appreciate everything.
Became a role model. RIP Kevin.

Could be a thanks but no thanks to that right back, seem to think he did the same with another trialist last season.
If that the case than ok.

Respect to you but with so many RB’s on the books what is the point.
Get someone in who plays in a role that we could be short in.

That 5 or more at the back will happen – you can sense he has not learned a thing !

And yes why another Right Back ? There must be other trialists in anything but RB wanting an opportunity.

We were 2 up at half time. Evans and Barrows – lost of nearlies.
Sembie-Ferris and the Roberts for the equaliser.

2nd squad changed on 60 mins, Roberts equalised on 62 mins. !

Not there just got this from ‘X’.

There’s also this “tap a goal kick to the keeper” tactic that’s emerged. Just because you can do it now doesn’t mean you have to. If our NL players see either of these things and try to copy, forgetting they’re NL for a reason, it’s just a disaster waiting to happen. As somebody said earlier ” if the ball is in the opposition half they’re unlikely to score.”

The late Ron Ashman used to say pre-match “If we have the ball in their penalty area they cannot score in our goal”.

And our passing over recent seasons has not been of a consistent acceptable standard. That must be our aim if we want to move up the leagues.

TT said they set up as a 442 yet the journo’s say it was a 4231.

The one country who caused Argentina problems was Cabo Verde and they played a 442.
Tuchel subs were shocking and negative, it invites trouble and they got it.

Don’t rate TT as a manager, never did.

To play devil’s advocate, did anyone raise these “second class citizen” claims when we were in the EFL? For those with short memories there was a thing called IronPlayer which was in force for over 10 years. You could only watch full match highlights and video interviews if you paid the annual subscription. Heck, if you were an out-of-towner you could only listen to the live radio commentary if you subscribed!

But all club information was to ALL supporters at the same time. I never had iPlayer I did not feel I lost out.
But if we are about to sign or sell a player then all supporters should see the same press releases at the same time.

Tried the magic spray around groin strain area. Probably just a precaution to take him off.
For £6 a month maybe you get an update.

Will sit in blissful ignorance. Even if blessed with untold riches I would give not one penny.
Actually think it is a disgrace, treats some as 2nd class fans. Got money they want to talk to you,
not fortunate having spent all you have they will think about it ! !

Hadn’t he had issues when at Peterborough hence why he was on loan with us ?

Another long term injury is not cost effective is it.
