That would be an obvious explanation. The design was also informed by fan feedback.
Ordered them earlier?
July 23, 2026 at 10:40 am #323346Have we ever had a supplier with which the club and fans were happy?…
The 1983 Umbro kit went down well. It was out before the summer holidays and I wore mine in Benidorm 😊
July 23, 2026 at 10:41 am #323347The decision to move away from Kelme was driven by the club’s desire to secure a “bespoke, community-focused kit design and a specialised terrace culture fashion range.
July 23, 2026 at 10:42 am #323348I had my 1982-83 Hobbot shirt before the season started.
July 23, 2026 at 12:29 pm #323366They’ll get it right next season though won’t they, early design voted on by the fans and a nice early release date ya nether know we might be the first for once, after all someone as to why not us.
If we’re the first I’ll buy one myself lol.July 30, 2026 at 3:49 pm #323763I gather the replica shirts are expected to arrive by tomorrow in time for the gala day and Legends match. If that expectation is realised and they are on sale in the club shop on Sunday, then that may help recover any revenue lost from the late arrival. There will be a hardcore who buy the shirt regardless of the design.
July 31, 2026 at 7:30 am #323793A delivery on POETS day?
Good luck with that one!July 31, 2026 at 1:11 pm #323807[Double post – Delete and ask:]

Have they arrived yet?July 31, 2026 at 1:42 pm #323810The decision to move away from Kelme was driven by the club’s desire to secure a “bespoke, community-focused kit design and a specialised terrace culture fashion range.
Is “the decision to move away from Kelme was driven by the club’s desire to secure a bespoke, community-focused kit design and a specialised terrace culture fashion range” actually a euphemism for “Matt Roberts was trying to impress his new employers so, with an attitude of ‘f*ck loyalty’, set-up a deal away from a supplier that had actually done the club some favours when things were at their most turbulent” ..?

If we’re the first I’ll buy one myself lol.Word is that the 3-year Meyba deal has been ripped-up and this second year will be the last.
July 31, 2026 at 2:37 pm #323813Any information from the Insiders ?
July 31, 2026 at 2:54 pm #323814I don’t think club curated content for the “Insiders” extends to updates on bad news.
Any information from the Insiders ?

They have no morals.July 31, 2026 at 8:17 pm #323820Surely this is down to Terrace, they run the shop
July 31, 2026 at 8:36 pm #323822And they sell what is given them, they’re the clubs shirts and their reputation to uphold after last years f up surely someone from the club would have inspected them, but obviously not.
July 31, 2026 at 8:47 pm #323824“trying to sell ” suggests they know ,not that they missed it.
July 31, 2026 at 8:58 pm #323826If they are on sale then yes they are trying to sell them.
Just like last year with the obvious different coloured shirt sleeves, misplaced club crest, and the hitek logo misplaced.July 31, 2026 at 9:08 pm #323828It seems that for as long as I can remember we have had issues with our many suppliers-either in terms of quality or timeliness of delivery, or sometimes both. Might we be doing something wrong?

July 31, 2026 at 9:22 pm #323830The club?
SURELY not???
🙄July 31, 2026 at 9:26 pm #323831Awaywego,you’re clearly trying to say they are deliberately selling substandard goods with full knowledge. You have no proof of this
July 31, 2026 at 9:35 pm #323835Someone took a photo of the substandard goods they are deliberately trying to sell, there’s the proof.
Have you proof otherwise they aren’t.1 user thanked author for this post.
July 31, 2026 at 9:38 pm #323836You have proof they’re on the shelf not that anybody has noticed . Incompetence is the worst we have at the moment.Youre implying something else
July 31, 2026 at 9:39 pm #323837I would add, they may have noticed but we gave no proof of that yet
July 31, 2026 at 9:52 pm #323839July 31, 2026 at 11:04 pm #323848While I can understand how an upside-down ‘M’ might easily be overlooked, sending a shirt to a customer with no badges at all is completely unacceptable.
