Actually he has recently passed away.

Had concerns about quality of squad and those have got worse. Early days yet and the 10 game benchmark needs hitting but look toothless up front and midfield looks disjointed and weak. Keeper situation will get worse as season progresses

Didn’t take Southend fans long to fire up the dodgy keeper treatment on Jones. The most worrying thing is that he was probably our best player.

I don’t blame Jones for the goal. If Ogle had been goal side of his man he could have cleared it.

With this squad it’s difficult to get the starting XI right/wrong*.

Butler seems to find it easy to get it wrong.
