Haven’t been on this board for a very long time but tribute has to be paid to Keegan. What a fantastic player — the best I’ve ever seen in an Iron shirt and that’s going back to the early 1960s. Also, my understanding from an ex-player who played in the same team is that he was a truly lovely chap who never forgot his time at the OSG or the people he played with. What a very, very sad day.

Otherwise, I hope everyone is well, Bucks.

A truly nice guy, I remember him giving us free tickets outside Edgely Park, the year we had our excellent cup run.
That was in the second round.

Lawrie McMenemy turned him down but Jack Brownsword saw potential and the rest as they say is history.

Jack mentored him well and taught him never to forget where he came from and appreciate everything.
Became a role model. RIP Kevin.

Bloody hell 64 that’s a normal post I would make but out of respect I didn’t!
Seen as though you did someone said rename a stand after him my, first thoughts are what without any money involved bit to far for Scunny I would imagine.

Talking of respect I’ll give some to PD for the first time, he’s not made it all about himself just a small respectful post. Well done PD.

Will always remember watching this live. Worth sharing for any younger folk who never saw it. That was some crash and serious grazing and Kev just took it in his stride and laughed it off straight after with typical humility. A true superstar and inspiration. One of a kind. Gone too soon.
