The club Need to get a reality check small adjustment indeed, don’t lie (not that they’re renowned for lying like) the smallest adjustment is 17% for adults seating going up to 22% for a concession in standing, and the youth 20% all round.
Guess they’re pricing for league 2 let’s hope it comes to fruition.

March 25, 2026 at 4:44 pm #318318I’m of the opinion that they needed to go up this much, the last owner really screwed the business over with stupid pricing

March 25, 2026 at 4:52 pm #318319I can live with the increase if it helps to cover running costs without recourse to begging bowl initiatives such as the one for the pitch renovations.

March 25, 2026 at 5:38 pm #318321Don’t mind an increase but trying to sell it as small adjustment isn’t right.
And certainly object to the under 18s going up 20% not many under 18s earn anything so that adds to mum dad or grandads in my case outgoings.
Whatever happened to a rise inline with inflation or set percentage every year.
Obviously affecting others, on tuther side a couple of females saying they’ll need the finance option this year.

March 26, 2026 at 8:22 pm #318394And Liverpool fans have the gaul to moan about a price increase of the 3% inflation rate.
March 26, 2026 at 8:26 pm #318395March 26, 2026 at 9:34 pm #318403Check out Kieran Maguire pages regarding balance sheets. They are sobering to say the least.
Revenue has to raised to be able to make recruitment a little easier. Gain promotion to the EFL this season and the club will get a cash boost. But up to then whatever it takes – sponsoring a bit of the pitch I cannot see an issue if some want to do it and for those who don’t then they have their choice.
As yet no Euro Lottery Jackpot winner has knocked on the door so until then we do whatever it takes.

March 27, 2026 at 10:05 am #318410So much of a joke pricing forced one of ours on here (j Charles) to give up his box him and his family had for years.

Agreed. Season Tickets have been joke pricing (in fans’ favour) for the last few years.
Hard to make fair comparisons when our position has changed, but my season ticket for 2015-6 in the West Stand cost £360. I think it cost the same for a few seasons before that too but can’t find evidence of that.
Even allowing for the fact that we’ll be two divisions (hopefully one) below the division we were in then, the fact that an increase that some folk are complaining about doesn’t take us back to the prices of 11(+?) seasons ago suggests that the point above is correct.
For comparison, a mate’s renewal price for Rotherham in a similar seat in League One (as we were in 2015-16) cost him £485 this year (£535 for new ticket holders). However, his ticket next year will be cheaper than mine as they still operate senior tickets at 60+, which seems generous nowadays.

March 27, 2026 at 11:17 am #318420Like you say apple and pears comparisons, nigh on £5 million wage bill back then.
But I’ll just take it back to Op a small adjustment is not 17% and that being the least increase, honesty and transparency is not to much to ask.1 user thanked author for this post.
