Club has opened negotiations with Ross Barrows on a new contract which is a good move.

They also need to look at those whose deals run out May/June 2026. 2026/2027 is going to be a big season I think and we need to show fans that progress is the aim.

Speaking of Harry Toffolo, I see he’s at Charlotte FC in the MLS now.

They’re managed by ex Villa and Norwich boss Dean Smith.

    Nice one. Hadn’t seen that.

But instead we’ll set up to deal with them.

That is what I always fear.

Hi Premier Iron – they have a better Away record than at Home. Agree I think it will be tough but play our game and let them worry about us and we will be OK.

‘Someone got the right score in the Pred lge – 5 nil does for me.’

Are you saying you predicted 5-0 Sanfran? Think I went 2-0. Listening to the radio commentary the devil in me was willing it to stick. Delighted to hear Eze goals go in and refreshing to have the commentator master Torps back in his rightful place with Ollie. No offence to Coxy but Torps actually relays the passages of the play that those not there want to know about. He understands the role. Apologies Neil.

I did – always push the boundaries and this time it worked = haha.

I thought Peterborough Sports played reasonably well especially in the first half and it wasn’t a five goal performance by us, though we took our chances well and they couldn’t hit a barn door, but played some decent football

Someone got the right score in the Pred lge – 5 nil does for me.

Hull do not want to sell Ty S-F with Zain not sure what Doncaster intended.

Chadwick deal ends in Jan. but not sure about Eze – would think Mr Butler has something in hand to maintain
    squad numbers.

Wonder if we could afford to sign him on a permanent, chance Ollie might be gone in January.

The injury for Oli as regrettable as it was may just have made clubs look at others.

Passing has been an issue for several seasons and I do not understand why, they should practice until they are on their knees every day !!

They might get the message then.

We have Starbuck, Rose and JB for the RB position. Are we in a position to support 4 RBs?

Oli Rose has had a setback according go Mr Butler and needs to be scanned, didn’t sound promising.

Was a great article in the Racing Post. Stated in court that in the 10 years with an account at Ladbrokes declared MR Swann had lost near to £5 million in 10 years !! So £500,000 a year !

Got zero sympathy for him – grown man so his fault,

Saving them for the next game when the game in progress is “won”? (IHO)
I wonder if some of the players are not 100%, but start with the hope that they can last an hour and have the game won. Butler wants his subs to make an impact, today we had Scales, Howe, Dawson & Rose – did they? Did they ****!! The only thing of note was Howe’s failure to put the game to bed.

Is this because they are in and then out and perhaps nowhere the next time ?

Pick a team, pick a formation and stick to the initial team selected and formation and tweak accordingly. Substitutions – does seem to use his analysis data a bit too much.

Mr Butler says one more may not make saturday but no name.

What are the respective issues with Rose and Evans ? I know with Barrows it is completing rehab and Ewing – his big toe.
    Is Cal now OK ?

Deal was said to be an INITIAL 1 month deal.

If they can come to an arrangement leave him where he is getting game time. Working for Mark and Alfreton which is good.

Tesco car park is not controlled by Tesco. It is for Tesco shoppers only and does have cameras recording entry / exit .

People may be subject to overstaying – then penalty notices will start to arrive.

    Haha Andrea Ferretti!

Lol, 19 clubs, approximately one a year since he started in 2004. The very definition of ‘journeyman’.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea_Ferretti_(footballer,_born_1986)

James Alabi – 18 clubs in 12 yrs now that is some going.

I’d be very interested to know who thought he was the man for us in the first place?
Makes you wonder about how much they actually know about the game.. lol

Do you remember that dramatic last minute lights on at GP when we signed a player – wasn’t he from Wrexham ? Cannot remember his name but he was far worse than Beck. At least Mark Beck tried and ran about the other was idle.

But on his start debut scored then created and MOM so credit to him.

In Butler’s aftermatch interview on Humberside, he said that Roberts would be OK for next week but Ewings bruised toe would have to have a second opinion because ‘radiographers can miss things’. Really? I know that we don’t need him out for more than necessary and that the days of playing on with a broken neck have long gone…but do we coddle these lads a tad too much?

For whatever reason my memory collects odd information. Ex Officio’s comment about coddling players brought to mind a sad story – Dorothy Dandridge, a Hollywood and Broadway star died in 1965 aged 42 – cause of death was finally filed as fatty tissue in blood that caused an embolism. She had recently suffered a small fracture in a toe – fatty item was said to have been bone marrow !

You never know, don’t risk it. Same goes with attitude to ‘dead legs’ these days !
