A UK ticket-holder has won a £181 million jackpot in Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw.
(Or the Trust, Unity Group or current board member?)
March 11, 2026 at 9:11 am #317362If it was me, i would bring a new manager into Scunthorpe, so good job its not me all you AB likers

March 11, 2026 at 9:44 am #317366Are so you would be a PS type of owner who would tell the actual football people what to do through the eyes of being just a fan like the rest of us? Very good , no doubt when your plans failed and you were sick of wasting money by being proved wrong you’d pull your money out and run away to the Caribbean to live out your days, very good well done.
March 11, 2026 at 11:40 am #317380I’d buy Grimsby & Lincoln. Demolish both grounds and build houses on the land ;-)

March 11, 2026 at 11:51 am #317381Trust me, if that had been me the revolution would be underway.
Sadly a recent £6 win achieves nothing but I will keep trying.

March 11, 2026 at 11:54 am #317382£1 for the pitch and a fiver for yourself?

What sort of revolutionary things would you do SanFran?
March 11, 2026 at 12:15 pm #317388£181 million, how much would it cost to run Scunthorpe United, and to what league would we be comfortable in.
I would make sure we had a fantastic pitch, and get under soil heating while we are at it.
And something that does need £181 million, some Claret & Blue coloured goal nets..March 11, 2026 at 1:09 pm #317392Well done Bhuna5 those are all worthy sensible suggestions if you won £181 million, maybe then give AB a budget similar to York and give him a proper chance to prove himself with a decent budget before your personal reasons for sacking him kick in, we are all worthy of a fair chance perhaps with the exception of Trump who wants putting in a care home immediately.

Would actually do both good… tidying up the areas

March 11, 2026 at 1:46 pm #317397I’d subsidize a special train to most away games.
March 11, 2026 at 3:07 pm #317399Iron awe, why has Butler left the defence so threadbare after so many defenders injured ?. Finally admitted we need defensive players post match, but far too late as it should have been addressed weeks ago.
The squad is terribly balanced. How many wide attackers do we have on the books and how many fit CB’s ?
Recruitment has been shambolic. Butler should be blamed for this.
I know Butler likes Barrows, but he should be nowhere near the 1st team. The lack of marking for their 2nd goal was a complete joke. Why was he stood still 15/20 yards away ?
He needs letting go come the end of the season. Boyce needs to retire. Pair of them are liabilities.
March 11, 2026 at 3:16 pm #317401‘Boyce needs to retire’
He’s already said he is doing and making plans post football
March 11, 2026 at 4:02 pm #317406Not Boycie’s fault. Injuries mean Butler has no option other than to play him.

March 11, 2026 at 4:59 pm #317407We’re really struggling with the back five.
More wing(er)s than Ryanair!If Whitehall or CR10 doesn’t score then…

Not saying it is. More Butler’s. Why have obsession for wide players when we’re threadbare at the back. Crazy.
March 12, 2026 at 12:13 pm #317425It was NOT ME
Though i must admit to being quite lucky in February .. lotto draws here are very strange and are on the 1st and 16th of every month, i won on both in Feb combined total of 700 quid which i spent on soapy massage ,steak and a few beverages … THE REST I WASTED !!
March 12, 2026 at 12:35 pm #317426So we have got a nice pitch with undersold heating matching nets .but are we having a team
March 12, 2026 at 3:13 pm #317436If there’s any undersoil heating it will probably be undersold knowing our luck.
March 12, 2026 at 7:19 pm #317450I’d give a couple of million to the trust and watch how the respect flows to them from the SUFC board right until my caveat hits in that the trust Firstly gets to buy an equal share to be bought at the price per share the board paid ,loans not included. This before any of the remaining cash is released
March 12, 2026 at 7:58 pm #317452If I won 181 million I’d buy the Ground and The Training Ground and give the deeds to the Trust. Together with a few million quid to improve both and run it day to day. I would allow the club offices, shop and matches rent free ( the club can keep the revenue from the shop, games and programmes) but haven’t decided about other cash generated at the ground ( parking, refreshments, iron bar). I’m sure the board would give due deference to the Trust if they were the Landlords!
March 12, 2026 at 8:19 pm #317453And on another Ponzi scheme like the FC 100,000 and your outvoted 4 to 1 how’s the trust gunna look then.
