Form Last Six Games:
4th Altrincham P6 W4 D0 L2 F8 A7 GD+1 Pts 12
20th Iron P6 W1 D2 L3 F9 A12 GD-3 Pts 5
Form Last Ten Games:
6th Alty P10 W5 D2 L3 F14 A13 GD+1 Pts 17
18th Iron P10 W3 D2 L5 F18 A23 GD-5 Pts 11
In some ways, this fixtures is now a handicap game.
If Dec was playing for Alty, then you’d probably expect him to score one.
So, in effect, we’re starting a goal up… on level terms. With DECagon and looking at their last ten games they rank higher than us.
Over the last six games, they sit 4th in that form table.
It’s difficult to DECipher the outcome of the game with Alty having such a DECisive finisher sat in civies on their bench.
Let’s hope the DECision made by Stan & Michael [Sc(h)ofield] doesn’t bite us on the arse and that we can Prison Break this league at the end of the season!
DECurion will have to motivate & inspire his soldiers vocally from their bench.
It’ll be yet another difficult game for us. Alty may even be slight favourites to sneak a win?
I’ll go 1-1… the DECider is sitting on their bench.
March 11, 2026 at 8:27 am #317352Scunthorpe 8/13
Draw 29/10
Altrincham 15/4Big prices (considering our ‘form’) for Alty to take either one or all three points.

Hope so. He’s ineligible to be a sub ;)
March 11, 2026 at 9:56 am #317369I reckon we might see the old Whitehall injured routine on Saturday with Farrell and Jones starting and maybe a new centre back in the building, that should do it for a win, it’s time Altrincham lost anyway.
March 11, 2026 at 10:47 am #317375Whitehall is annoying, he could have easily been sent off against Sutton, so i would not mind seeing Farrell start ahead of him, but then Farrell does not look very quick, but he is certainly powerful to push defenders off him..
If Butler starts with Connor Smith and not Pat Jones. he has lost the plot.March 11, 2026 at 11:09 am #317377I think Conner Smith needs a pre-season with the club and we’ll likely see an improvement in his performances next season. Pat Jones looks ready to go, and he was head and shoulders above the rest last night when he came on. I would definitely be starting with Jones if I was Butler.

In his civies.

March 11, 2026 at 11:36 am #317379Live on DAZN
March 11, 2026 at 12:10 pm #317386Live on DAZN, may be worth giving my seat up and watching it at home, so can switch it off as opposed to seeing all 90 plus minutes
of rubbish..
I do not think Connor Smith is better than NLN.March 11, 2026 at 1:26 pm #317394Whitehall could have been sent off in 90% of the games he’s played in, but in reality he hasn’t get over it he’s annoying just leave it at that.
Still wanting Farrell to start instead of him when he’s scored 5 in 3 games now that’s annoying, we are a better team with Whitehall on the pitch than off it, there’s always that chance he will score he’s proved it along with Dec, unlike Dauch now 17 games this season without finding the onion sack.1 user thanked author for this post.
March 14, 2026 at 2:01 pm #317522Whitehall’s saving grace is that he scores goals.
1-1

Zero goals in 237 minutes with us.

March 14, 2026 at 2:23 pm #317527I can’t believe that people are moaning about Whitehall.
He’s on our side.
He needs to start.

March 14, 2026 at 2:41 pm #317529Round pegs in round holes would be a start. Positive passing in front of the runner would help that bit more and with Danny play to his strengths.
Don’t understand the concept of over complication.
March 14, 2026 at 2:47 pm #317530No it’s not live on DAZN, it’s a blackout game hence not on until 5:30

March 14, 2026 at 2:54 pm #317531Err, that’s when it’s scheduled to kickoff.
March 14, 2026 at 3:37 pm #317534To Deereyme66, true Butler will not hear me shouting through the TV so i will be at Glanford Park, the hi light being the pre match apple crumble !
It is Butlers reaction that infuriates, pointing toward anyone with negative comments to be thrown out the ground.
UP THE IRON !March 16, 2026 at 2:25 pm #317593From The Alty Files:
“An Altrincham side with nine players out injured, a tenth suspended and an eleventh (Howe) ineligible against his employers, were denied a point at Scunthorpe by an added-time goal. In doing so, Altrincham recorded their twentieth defeat of the league season, a total only surpassed by Gateshead and Truro City, the two bottom clubs in the Enterprise National League”Phew… thank god they weren’t at full strength!
March 16, 2026 at 2:42 pm #317596Yet they were still able to name a matchday squad of 17. The luxury of a big squad eh!!
