If as expected Roberts leaves (thanks for the memories Cal, any chance you have a feeling of unfinished business here?) would that lead to two up top next season? Realistically playing 2 up top was not a long term option to get the best of Roberts but if he’s not here, Whitehall and Howe or even Jones playing as a 2.
I don’t expect it to happen but surely a consideration?

If he wants to consider 3-5-2 as an option he needs to sign WBs. Somebody like (but not him) the Southend RWB who’s scored 17 or 18 this season would be useful.

JB would be better as a RWB rather than RB. Hortons decent going forward from what I remember earlier in the season. Not so sure Butler is going to change.
