I see in the latest Trust News letter it says the Go Fund Me was set up towards a Memorial Garden !
Correct me if I am wrong but I m sure it was stated it was to raise £50 k for a Statue !
So the Trust set up a Fund for a statue , donating £500 without consulting Members and now say it is for a Memorial Garden
Again please correct me if I am wrong but were Members consulted on this change ?
Who keeps making all these Trust decisions as the Members do not seem to be involved.

VOF Not elected and represent no one. Imposed on fans by the Club.
We have several supporters organisations already the Club could meet with regularly if the chose to and they should instead of this lot.

If we did nt pay a fee for him then surely we should just cancel his contract and stop paying his wages.

The Trust are now saying they are going to consult with members about any future fund raising. It’s a bit late for that as they have already put £500 of the Trusts money into the Go Fund Me without any consultation.
Come to that they never consulted with members about the hair brained scheme in the first place
The fact they have raised around £3600 out of a target of £50 k shows just what a stupid idea this was from the start.

Well that’s cleared that up. According to the latest Trust News letter it was calls from Members requesting they set up a fund
Would that be Committee Members or ordinary Members ?

Why is it Season after Season there are problems with shirts. Either late delivery or poor quality or both.
The Club do not seem to learn from previous experience or are just not bothered as long as they are selling them.

I would be interested to know how many members were asked about building a statue / now down graded to a memorial prior to the go fund me was started.
I have been a member since the beginning and I certainly was not asked my opinion.
I have also asked several questions to the Trust and received no answers infact been made to feel by the replies I have got that I am the only person to be complaining about what’s happened.
The Trust seems to be top down organisation with the Members not being involved in any decisions on major issues.
I joined the a trust to buy shares to give fans hopefully a voice in the Club not build statues that I and other Members apart from I presume the Committee knew nothing about.

The Trust was set up with the intention of buying shares in the Club when they became available to hopefully give the fans a bit of a voice and not to build statues
The Trust should have consulted Members first on their ideas for a memorial if one was required
May be they should have called a meeting of members prior to any action.
They should certainly have consulted members prior to donating £500 to the statue fund.
I would also like to know if they asked the Club and other Supporters Groups for their opinions and if they wanted involvement prior to any action.
I have always stated the Trust is very democratic organisation but obviously not.

Keegan was a great player and deserves everything that is being said about him and more.
As for the statue I see the Iron Trust have donated £500 towards it !!
Thought they raised money to buy shares in the Club when they come available.

With the talk of grants of £750 k plus the Club having to put upwards of £200k towards it , that’s the best part of a million pounds !
So where’s the extra money coming from if we don’t get the full grant of £750k ?

So if the Grant has nt been decided yet then we have gone ahead with the work without knowing exactly how much we will have to finance !
Doe nt seem the right way to go about things to me.

Do we have to repay any of the £750 k or is it just the additional £250 k the Club have to find ?

VOF will not rock the boat. Were nt they selected by the Club so they will not be controversial about anything.
I hope the Trust take this matter up on behalf of the fans.

Got a feeling our attendances might drop a bit next season as well especially if we do not have success like this season.
Also a few disgruntled Season Ticket holders might not renew after the Rochdale ticket fiasco.
We need more income to make that step back into League 2

Unless I have missed the Club have made no comment about the ticket allocating shambles.
It’s no good them saying they were not involved because they have previously made a statement saying they were in talks with Rochdale and Fanbase.
This is not the way to treat thousands of fans who are Season Ticket Holders and Fans who do not have Season Tickets but just as important to the Club.
It’s too late for Rochdale but at the very least they could and should make a Statement and also a Commitment that nothing like this will happen in the future.
The Fans who they have upset are the same ones they will be coming begging for money again in the future !

Has there been any sort of public comment published from the Club about the ticket farce ?
What were they discussing with Rochdale and the Ticket Company all day ?
Did the club protest about the 6 per Season Ticket on behalf of the fans ?

One of the perks of buying a Season Ticket was that it enabled you to get priority for games with limited tickets.
I wonder how many fans who have had Season Tickets and not got tickets for Rochdale might well think twice about renewing.
Rochdale are selling the tickets for this game but I have seen on some sites that the Club have been in contact with Rochdale about how many tickets we could have but surely during these talks they could have insisted say 2 tickets per Season Ticket Holder.
Did nt this fiasco happen last Season for the play off final ?
It’s no good the Club saying it’s all down to Rochdale but they should be looking after the interest of their fans and seem to have not done this.
It seems to me that the Club could get a lot of bad feeling over this ticket allocation.

The Eastleigh game was all about not picking up any injuries.
If Southend watching the game they will think they have only to turn up.
Thats never the case in football !

The main point here is that someone swore at a steward and gets banned but an employee of the Club , in this case the Manager swears at a fan and nothing seems to have happened about that.
Seems the Club have a 2 tier system. One for them and one for others !
Should never have come to this and it seems if Butler had nt of got involved then it would have blown over.
The Club needs every penny they can get and it seems they have just lost several hundred pounds.

Thought the Club had moved forward from banning fans but obviously not !
It’s a downward spiral for the Club doing this sort of thing especially if abusive language was used by Butler who is an employee of the Club.
So a fan / customer is banned.
So are the Club taking action against their employee if the report of him using foul language is correct ?

If I remember correctly there was no division of fan groups until this Unity Group appeared on the scene.
We already had several long established well run Fans Groups and why was there a need for another ?
Seems to me it was to feed the egos of some of the members of Unity !
It just seems Unity go from incident to incident and the publicity this brings is not the sort the Club needs.
One thing is for sure the last name that should have been chosen is Unity !
