VOF will not rock the boat. Were nt they selected by the Club so they will not be controversial about anything.
I hope the Trust take this matter up on behalf of the fans.

Got a feeling our attendances might drop a bit next season as well especially if we do not have success like this season.
Also a few disgruntled Season Ticket holders might not renew after the Rochdale ticket fiasco.
We need more income to make that step back into League 2

Unless I have missed the Club have made no comment about the ticket allocating shambles.
It’s no good them saying they were not involved because they have previously made a statement saying they were in talks with Rochdale and Fanbase.
This is not the way to treat thousands of fans who are Season Ticket Holders and Fans who do not have Season Tickets but just as important to the Club.
It’s too late for Rochdale but at the very least they could and should make a Statement and also a Commitment that nothing like this will happen in the future.
The Fans who they have upset are the same ones they will be coming begging for money again in the future !

Has there been any sort of public comment published from the Club about the ticket farce ?
What were they discussing with Rochdale and the Ticket Company all day ?
Did the club protest about the 6 per Season Ticket on behalf of the fans ?

One of the perks of buying a Season Ticket was that it enabled you to get priority for games with limited tickets.
I wonder how many fans who have had Season Tickets and not got tickets for Rochdale might well think twice about renewing.
Rochdale are selling the tickets for this game but I have seen on some sites that the Club have been in contact with Rochdale about how many tickets we could have but surely during these talks they could have insisted say 2 tickets per Season Ticket Holder.
Did nt this fiasco happen last Season for the play off final ?
It’s no good the Club saying it’s all down to Rochdale but they should be looking after the interest of their fans and seem to have not done this.
It seems to me that the Club could get a lot of bad feeling over this ticket allocation.

The Eastleigh game was all about not picking up any injuries.
If Southend watching the game they will think they have only to turn up.
Thats never the case in football !

The main point here is that someone swore at a steward and gets banned but an employee of the Club , in this case the Manager swears at a fan and nothing seems to have happened about that.
Seems the Club have a 2 tier system. One for them and one for others !
Should never have come to this and it seems if Butler had nt of got involved then it would have blown over.
The Club needs every penny they can get and it seems they have just lost several hundred pounds.

Thought the Club had moved forward from banning fans but obviously not !
It’s a downward spiral for the Club doing this sort of thing especially if abusive language was used by Butler who is an employee of the Club.
So a fan / customer is banned.
So are the Club taking action against their employee if the report of him using foul language is correct ?

If I remember correctly there was no division of fan groups until this Unity Group appeared on the scene.
We already had several long established well run Fans Groups and why was there a need for another ?
Seems to me it was to feed the egos of some of the members of Unity !
It just seems Unity go from incident to incident and the publicity this brings is not the sort the Club needs.
One thing is for sure the last name that should have been chosen is Unity !

UNITY. They don’t know the meaning of the word.
Seems like they are showing their true colours.
Just shows how big a fan that Dave was if he is just walking away.
No doubt he will attach himself to another Club next Season !

Unity , I m not sure they choose the right name when they set up.
They have caused anything but Unity among the fans.
They seem to go from disaster to disaster among themselves and it seems that far from representing the Fans it is more about promoting the egos of a few.

I just cannot understand why the Club are all over this Dave and Maw who don’t really represent anyone but don’t seem to have any time for the Trust who only have 1200 Members or 25 % of the current fan base.

It seems this Unity Group go from one scandal to another if this really took place.
If it’s true then as Chairman he will have no other option but to resign.
What really puzzles me is how the Club are all over Unity all the time but not some of the more older established supporters groups.
Surely if true the Club do not want to be associated with this type of behaviour !

Think it’s just over £2k on go fund me page.
£1200 from first bucket collection and one donation of £500 so it’s hardly flying !
Have they announced last 2 bucket collections ?

Lots of opposing fans used to come into the Donny Road End but usually did nt stay very long.
Fighting was common in the Donny Road End in 60s and 70s and often after games outside.
Different times and no CCTV so if you did nt get arrested at the time there were no knocks on the door weeks later.
Iron fans always stood in Pontoon Stand and again no segregation.

Was at Swindon. Went on Special Train. There was no segregation at the game.
In fact in those days not much segregation at any ground

Seems you can be all over Facebook and call yourself a supporters group !
Apart from himself who else does Dave represent ?
To be honest until this season never seen him or heard of him and I have been following the Iron 67 Seasons

It seems to me that the Club back Dave and Unity because they do what the Club wants where as the Trust is democratically run by the members.
If the Trust are prepared to raise money in return for shares is this really a bad thing ? The Club still get the money.
One thing is certain you cannot continually run a business by asking for hand outs from your customers or in our case fans.

I cannot understand why Michelle and the Board are all over this Dave guy and the Unity Group but seem to distance themselves from the Trust who are a well run audited democratically elected group who with around 1200 members represent 25% of the current fan base.
Is it because instead of giving hand outs to the Club they want shares in return so the fans who donate get something in return ?
Having people run round with buckets asking for donations to this and that does not look like a very professional way for the Club to get money.
I see there is also a just giving page but if you subtract the bucket money and the one donation of £500 the uptake on this seems very slow.

You can hire portable electric blowers. Maybe some local firms could help the Club out ?
I wonder if they have looked into alternative ways of thawing the away end out.

Went to Boston and had one of the 50 seat tickets. In the area allocated more empty seats than the 50 Iron fans !
No segregation at all in the seating area or below the stand in the food and toilet areas.
In fact we moved nearer to the centre of the stand for a better view.
Who ever arranges ticketing for away fans at Boston cost their Club thousands of pounds yesterday in lost revenue but also stopped Iron fans from watching their team.
