Nothing more to add awaywego. Just mentioning there was a bit of chat at the Pods today. Pissed off Iron fans about the tickets being 6 to each ST holders. So I was informed. Nothing ground breaking.

Wasn’t me I wasn’t there today. Guess so plenty go in when doing the park run.

The ticket fiasco was an own goal by the club and it’s ticketing partner.

The failure to recognise the error and issue an apology is an even more serious own goal by the board.

I guess they are hoping that if we lose tomorrow folks will be glad they didn’t get a ticket and if they win the Wembley excitement will cause people to forget.

If we get there they’ll bring in season ticket holders first and only one ticket per person, just like Rowing did, that’s where me and the club parted.

Nice to see Grimsby trust approaching their club over the ticketing for their playoff away game to Salford so they can get things right in the future, why haven’t our trust done the same?

VOF will not rock the boat. Were nt they selected by the Club so they will not be controversial about anything.

From what I can remember fans have paid to be a member of the trust to represent them with over 2000 fans behind them.
Vof is a club initiative and just a sounding box from fans if they want an initiative bringing up they don’t represent a group in the same sense.
Totally 2 different entities.

VOF is one of those tick box S**** ideas a company rolls out to employees saying “we care about you as a contributor and we listen to your views”

And a month later “look at what we did”

If that’s the way you want to go Cass by all means go that way, nothing wrong with that group one of them is a friend of mine , but it was set up by the club,a club i don’t trust.
They’ve had a couple of small successes but when it comes to bigger issues I have my doubts that they will be successful, whereas the trust with 2000 members behind them could and should have a different outcome.

No! They’re bloody useless, other than the one thing all recognised footy trusts have and had the ability to put a claim in that the ground was a community asset, the thing that stopped Swanny selling the ground on quickly.
Of which they did no chance themselves acquiring the funds but the 6 months grace period allowed the government to step in and help along with a small amount from the club.

The Club have shown no interest in speaking with the Trust but chose to introduce VOF. Who has the Club’s ear and therefore more opportunity to get the point across? Have a word with your friend and ask him to put it on the agenda for the next meeting. Isn’t that the point of VOF?

They dont seam to be doing a lot for the fans. They just complain how bad the club is run and slag off others who at least try. Then say how much money they have invested.lfyou ask me they should get off there arses and do a bit
