I hear the Pods were rife with disgruntled Iron fans today.
May 2, 2026 at 4:17 pm #320228?
May 2, 2026 at 4:28 pm #320229A birdie told me there were a fair number unhappy about the ticket farce.
May 2, 2026 at 5:35 pm #320236Sorry still don’t understand.
May 2, 2026 at 6:00 pm #320238Nothing more to add awaywego. Just mentioning there was a bit of chat at the Pods today. Pissed off Iron fans about the tickets being 6 to each ST holders. So I was informed. Nothing ground breaking.

May 2, 2026 at 6:02 pm #320240Wasn’t me I wasn’t there today. Guess so plenty go in when doing the park run.
May 2, 2026 at 6:20 pm #320241The ticket fiasco was an own goal by the club and it’s ticketing partner.
The failure to recognise the error and issue an apology is an even more serious own goal by the board.
I guess they are hoping that if we lose tomorrow folks will be glad they didn’t get a ticket and if they win the Wembley excitement will cause people to forget.

May 2, 2026 at 6:26 pm #320242If we get there they’ll bring in season ticket holders first and only one ticket per person, just like Rowing did, that’s where me and the club parted.

May 2, 2026 at 7:40 pm #320243The arrogance of Michelle never mind an apology she never even mentioned the fiasco.
May 12, 2026 at 9:08 pm #320719Nice to see Grimsby trust approaching their club over the ticketing for their playoff away game to Salford so they can get things right in the future, why haven’t our trust done the same?
May 13, 2026 at 8:09 am #320725Surely a matter for VOF.

May 13, 2026 at 8:14 am #320726VOF will not rock the boat. Were nt they selected by the Club so they will not be controversial about anything.
I hope the Trust take this matter up on behalf of the fans.1 user thanked author for this post.
May 13, 2026 at 8:29 am #320728More CBB than VOF.
May 13, 2026 at 9:01 am #320730Someone on tuther side has put the cods trust statement on their ticketing issues, pull your finger out Iron trust and do the same.

May 13, 2026 at 10:17 am #320734So VOF can only whisper then?
May 13, 2026 at 10:28 am #320736Whispering Grass.
May 13, 2026 at 10:52 am #320739From what I can remember fans have paid to be a member of the trust to represent them with over 2000 fans behind them.
Vof is a club initiative and just a sounding box from fans if they want an initiative bringing up they don’t represent a group in the same sense.
Totally 2 different entities.May 13, 2026 at 11:47 am #320743VOF is one of those tick box S**** ideas a company rolls out to employees saying “we care about you as a contributor and we listen to your views”
And a month later “look at what we did”

May 13, 2026 at 12:37 pm #320747If that’s the way you want to go Cass by all means go that way, nothing wrong with that group one of them is a friend of mine , but it was set up by the club,a club i don’t trust.
They’ve had a couple of small successes but when it comes to bigger issues I have my doubts that they will be successful, whereas the trust with 2000 members behind them could and should have a different outcome.May 13, 2026 at 12:55 pm #320748Have you joined the Trust yet awaywego?
May 13, 2026 at 1:06 pm #320750No! They’re bloody useless, other than the one thing all recognised footy trusts have and had the ability to put a claim in that the ground was a community asset, the thing that stopped Swanny selling the ground on quickly.
Of which they did no chance themselves acquiring the funds but the 6 months grace period allowed the government to step in and help along with a small amount from the club.May 13, 2026 at 1:30 pm #320751If that’s the way you want to go Cass by all means go that way, nothing wrong with that group one of them is a friend of mine , but it was set up by the club,a club i don’t trust.

Who has the Club’s ear and therefore more opportunity to get the point across? Have a word with your friend and ask him to put it on the agenda for the next meeting. Isn’t that the point of VOF?

May 13, 2026 at 3:11 pm #320756‘No! They’re bloody useless’
Shame because you’d be able to complain to them direct. They’re more likely to listen and act on the gripes of a member.
May 13, 2026 at 4:13 pm #320757They dont seam to be doing a lot for the fans. They just complain how bad the club is run and slag off others who at least try. Then say how much money they have invested.lfyou ask me they should get off there arses and do a bit
Oh nobody likes them at the club try a different approach or different personal representing them because it aint working with people running it is it?
May 13, 2026 at 4:29 pm #320758Okay Jerry. Just a guess.
May 13, 2026 at 4:32 pm #320759It didn’t take long Shermon that’s not a guess
