It looks like there was a Voice of the Fans meeting in June and minutes went on the web site on Friday with an accompanying news item.

Whatever you think of the value of this forum previously, there is evidence of a number of weighty matters being raised and discussed (e.g. value of dialogue and relationship with Iron Trust and other fans’ groups, effective collaboration, open communication, compliance with Independent Financial Regulator licensing, role of new Director, financial sustainability etc.).
On the other hand, this looks like the first meeting since February and no Director was present. Also, there is no mention of the Iron Insider. which was launched on 25 June, and no consultation on a new kit design. (The apparent failure to mention or consult on the former seems extraordinary). That’s on the club, though, and not the VoF group.
I give them credit for raising important matters in a constructive and positive way, and seeking to improve fan engagement more widely. It also looks like there is another meeting scheduled for next week with a Director scheduled to be present. It’s a shame the club hasn’t put this news item on its socials -to date at least.
Bumping this in the light of the reference to VoF in the interview with the Club Chair and General Manager.
VOF is at best as pointless as having a wa*k in a clap clinic waiting room … no one seems to even notice… total waste of time although the blond lass is quite tasty in a chunky sort of way.
Come on. You’re better than that.
I was against the principle of having an unelected group appointed by the club. But the minutes of the last meeting show an ability and willingness to take up important issues. It is not their fault that the club has failed to (consistently at least): meet frequently, field a Director, or to publicise when meetings have taken place. Aren’t these similar issues faced by the Trust? The club doesn’t seem to be taking it seriously.

so basically VOF is a pointless exercise only introduced to appease the fan base when in reality the club dont seem interested.
