Have they addressed the question of the £500 they’ve donated to the gofundme collection?
Was it from funds that they stated would be to buy shares?

It’s hard to find anything they do on social media.

Nor-Lait is a one man band from Grimsby, runs his business from his house.

I’m also a Trust member and would also like to register my displeasure with the trust using funds other than what they have been raised for.
Please correct me if I’m wrong but the Trust stated on many occasions that members Fees and fund raising was to buy shares in the club.
Aso whilst I fully agree with either renaming the Iron bar or removing the name Botham from the exec lounge and replacing it with Keegan, I don’t believe the amount of money needed to pay for a statue will be raised by the trust, they’ve not thought this through.

Printing stickers costs as does the labour to install it.

    Exactly this.

    Plus a bit of profit.

Agreed but it was ALWAYS figured into the cost of the season ticket, so not only has the season ticket price risen by 5 times the rate of inflation the club have chosen to add on as an extra what was previously included in the ticket price.

Just saw that. No thanks. What next?

Coin machines on toilet doors, 50p for a crap, it wouldn’t surprise me.

This was one under the stand at the south west end of the Threadgold Stand. It was there for a few years.

That space has been converted to toilets and a kitchen area for Study United.
There is no space available or anywhere suitable under that stand to accommodate a bar.

Did the solar panels ever get installed? Prime location and would generate free power and a revenue for the feed in tariff. Not much I know but would be a nice off season boost to the coffers.

Yes they did, above the offices.

Just shows how big a fan that Dave was if he is just walking away.
No doubt he will attach himself to another Club next Season !

No doubt he will, it’ll be whichever club his best mate’s son in law is playing for.

Where has this positivity dave even come from ?

He’s the best mate of the father in law of one of our players, lives away from the town but they travel to games together.
Don’t expect that player to be here next season so don’t expect him to be here either.

Shep along with Bob Steels were in the exec lounge a few weeks ago for a chat to the fans, unfortunately Shep has been quite poorly recently but full credit it to him for giving us his time.

Sadly, the offending chant was repeated last night in the first half. What was particularly concerning is that the drummer was acting as conductor. If I am not mistaken, he is one of the fans selected by the club as a Voice of the Fans rep. I think he also features in a promotional film for this seasons’s kit. If there is another drummer, then I stand corrected. Otherwise, the club really should disassociate itself from this behaviour.

Now, I am not naive enough not to realise that much worse is heard on the DRE. However, given the circumstances, this particular instance should not be ignored.

I posted about this in response to the latest (Hartlepool) match vlog posting on the fans’ FB group. (I rarely post there). As it has been removed, I am repeating the post here. I think it’s an important issue, but the other place seems to want to sweep the issue under the carpet. See below.

“Disappointing that a chant that is most associated with the likes of Tommy Robinson supporters and Britain First was not only heard but also left in the edited version.”

    Haha, brilliant.

The Keir Starmer chant is pretty widespread now; Sky have had to go silent when it’s sung at the darts.

Must admit it was disheartening hearing it at a Scunny game, along with the pro- farage chants. The Tommy Robinson chant was sung by 20-30 young lads behind us, there was an angry response from half a dozen or so Scunny fans and it quickly stopped. I asked a young lad behind us why he was singing it and he didn’t have a clue, seemed embarrassed when confronted about it.

sad state of affairs and hopefully that shite can be self policed.

So, because YOU and the clown who was so upset by it that he felt the need to start threads on the subject insist it should be banned and no doubt think people who feel the need to chant should be silenced by the likes of you pair.
You do realise that is why the chants are sung, because of people like YOU!

Do you remember that dramatic last minute lights on at GP when we signed a player – wasn’t he from Wrexham ? Cannot remember his name but he was far worse than Beck. At least Mark Beck tried and ran about the other was idle.

It would be good if Bru could again join up with Iron hour lot and organise a collection for the lad, he’s certainly not going to be fit to play for a while.
