When the bar under the West stand (currently Threadgold Stand) was in use, it seemed to do a good trade. I think this is the only stand where you can’t access a bar without an Executive seat or season ticket. It may be the club hasn’t reopened it as it may lose Executive seat revenue? Both co-existed in pre-Covid days, so they could again. We also have bigger crowds than when it was operating successfully.

This was one under the stand at the south west end of the Threadgold Stand. It was there for a few years.

That space has been converted to toilets and a kitchen area for Study United.
There is no space available or anywhere suitable under that stand to accommodate a bar.

I didn’t know that. It was being used as a store room for a while. Good that it is being used. I guess if you were desperate for a drink at the game, you would buy a ticket in another stand or pay £200 extra for an Executive ticket.

Do all my eating and drinking before I go in the ground , once bought a black coffee and it was shite. See the game then leave the ground till next one, can’t risk going into the Iron Bar and bumping into PD with his 7foot smile, would put me right off me tea.

I drive to games, so it’s all the same to me. It would, though, provide a good and uncontroversial source of match day revenue.

‘once bought a black coffee and it was shite.’

Last time I bought one under the Mortz, the little milk cartons were off. No ever again.

Take a bag of satsumas injected with vodka.
