March 6, 2026 at 1:16 pm #317125A 2:0 win for Yeovil.. still not convinced as we have got complacent, when the 3rd position was achievable and seem to be going backwards, when our win probability for a team 20 points behind us is less than 50%, it is not encouraging..

March 6, 2026 at 2:37 pm #3171302-3 new signings said AB recently. Another rabbit out of the hat tomorrow?
March 6, 2026 at 3:14 pm #317133Going for 2-2
March 6, 2026 at 4:07 pm #317135I’ll go against the grain and say 2-0 to us
March 6, 2026 at 8:57 pm #317150Going for a 1 – 3 to the Iron – but as I’m going it’s bound to be 0 – 0 :)
I Just hope it’s more exciting than the first half of Wolves v Liverpool. U.T.I.March 6, 2026 at 9:54 pm #3171533-1 loss

March 7, 2026 at 7:35 am #31716510 of the 19 games have being won by a 1 goal margin.
5 games ended in draws.15/19 have had tight outcomes.
It’ll be a tight scrappy game.
I’ve seen a 0-1 and a 1-2 AI prediction for the game… we’d be happy with either!

Safe travels everyone goingMarch 7, 2026 at 2:11 pm #317177Looking at the team, the defence will leak a couple of goals. Further forward, it’s a question of where Roberts and Smith play off Whitehall. Roberts as an out and out winger, Smith close to Whitehall us scoring 3 or 4 is not impossible. Roberts in a midfield diamond or in a defensive midfield 5 we won’t have the firepower up front so a defeat is on the cards. Subs play a part. If we are a goal down at halftime and AB’s subs and tactical changes are more attacking, then it’s possible we could nick it second half. However if we are leading with 10 mins to go and there are a raft of subs aimed at Sitting on the lead or holding on the draw then we will probably lose or at best, escape with a draw.
March 7, 2026 at 2:12 pm #317178Farrell on the bench.Shouldn’t he be started. ??

March 7, 2026 at 2:26 pm #317179We have plenty of money, we can afford to bring in loanees and then leave them on the bench

March 7, 2026 at 3:58 pm #317182Farrell on the bench.Shouldn’t he be started. ??
Switched back to a 4-3-3 so not unless you drop a striker who scored a hat trick last weekend.
March 7, 2026 at 4:03 pm #317183Whitehall doing his best to get sent off, Connor Smith not doing anything.
And as premier iron says, how can you leave Farrell on the bench.
Butler needs to make half time changes or is he bothered now he has his new extended contract..March 7, 2026 at 4:20 pm #317184So no changes made at half time and Scunny lead 0-1, bloody rubbish Butler

Scunthorpe !March 7, 2026 at 5:26 pm #317193Butler has to drop Connor Smith and play Farrell on Tuesday, what a difference Dausch and Farrell made when they came on.
Smith offered nothing.
And Awaywego, the play offs seem nailed on, but winning the playoff is a distant dream1 user thanked author for this post.
March 7, 2026 at 5:36 pm #317194Let’s be right here that is a great away win, well played and well managed by both players and management, credit where it’s due well done guys 👏👏👏

March 7, 2026 at 6:23 pm #317195I’ll surely agree about the second half – the first was very ordinary indeed.
March 7, 2026 at 6:45 pm #317196First half was awful and Yeovil were extremely lucky to not go in ahead. Whitehall shithousery and general falling over strategy eventually got us a pen but we did not deserve to be ahead at that point of the game.
However, Dausch and Farrell changed the game when they came on, particularly with Dausch stretching Yeovil’s defence and getting in behind multiple times. Farrell was a handful, moves around well and should have had a hat trick. Smith did nothing, looks a different player to the one we had previously. Barrows awful (again)…gave the ball away at least into the double digit figures. Some in the crowd cheered when he got taken off which isn’t a great sign.
Overall, good away performance in the end and well happy to come away with 3 goals, 3 points and a clean sheet.

March 7, 2026 at 7:03 pm #317199Went to their place and absolutely mugged them!
Something teams have done to us on many occasions!
March 7, 2026 at 9:10 pm #317201Smith needs game time. AB said he came here not having played much. Farrell is match sharp and very good, but not a Smith replacement, more likely Dausch would be and Farrell in theory replaces Whitehall – which isn’t going to happen. i’d be more inclined to keep a winning team.
