Seems the Ogle signing is pretty much splitting the fan base in half with regard to it being

    a) Ogle is such a fantastic player that will fit strengthen the defense thus so hailed as a great bit of business by “golden balls” AB who knows what hes doing.

    b) An average player with injury concerns that really isnt needed as already well covered at RB position thus so a waste of an already tight budget and bad business by “5 @ the back” Butler who is out his depth.

So which are you ???? … for the record im just swinging towards B depending where Butler plans on playing Rose (midfield) and JB.

    Time will tell.

Saw a mock up of a new Scunny kit on the FFBP and if its accurate its a belter absolutely fantastic design and back tot he proper CnB colours after straying away slightly last season.

Glyn Sparks into action and BOSH..Massive game reality ..

Sufc fans gimme yer money its .. “Iron aid”

Putting aside how really absurd this “legends” fatwobblyblokearama may be lets try and sell some one Willy Wonka golden ticket to play with the rotund wobbles of yesteryear ..

Why not lets try to get a real proper EPL side to christen the new pitch ?? .. Leeds , Villa ??

I would say that this week has been a solid week of transfers. We’re still a little off where we need to be in terms of depth, but this has been a positive week, and much needed after the previous week.

IMO 3 very good signings in Brennon , Richards and Howe but still need another 3

Not enthused by barrows n Campbell offered new gigs

The over positivity on the FFB page is very premature with some already fueling up HMS piss the league and talk of a knighthood for AB.

im sticking with my Mid table prediction.

Good news AWG, Manchester United Legends will play Scunny Legends at GP on 2nd August.

Pathetic money making stunt rather than trying to push for a big side as a open new pitch finalee friendly ..
The old fat guys probably told to wear plimmies not damage the pitch ..

i very much doubt that we could land a player the calibre of Roberts any time soon .. if i recall correct wasnt he a Hilton era signing ?? if so then that is one thing positive to come out of Mr Hiltons brief stay.
Slim pickings , bottom ov the barrel , Sunday morning left overs are possibly what we are looking at if Brennon and Richards are the marque signings.

Richards has a bit of height to him.
    Nice to see.

    Errrr…so had Mark Beck….

Be nice to have a bit of height in the middle for a change.

My Ex mother in law had a bit of height and weight to her in fact was built like a water buffalo and packed a mean right hook on the rare occasion she could catch me .. alas she is 78 now but was on par with Beck in her footballing days… so not worth AB calling.
Never forgive her for murdering n eating my pet pot bellied pig Perry ..begining of the end that was.

He crossed the Atlantic.. Young American real estate investor…

Excellent news for Tamworth FC … these ‘ rich people ‘ are out there its just finding one who wants to buy / invest in Scunny

    IMO
just looking at whats in the building already and what signings still needed budget allowing not inc loans later.

Keepers Jones .. + new signing as Campbell needs to be out on loan again
    LB Denton n Horton ..ok
    RB Rose Starbuck Barrows ok
    CD Evans JB + new signing(s) + 1 possibly 2 cover injuries
MID Rowley Beestin Richards + 1 cover injuries to Beestin
    Wingers Jones n Brennon ok
ST Whall n Howe + 1 cover for injuries then loan TSF or Farrel later hopefully

So at least 4 or 5 more signings needed …am i dreaming ?????

The Jordan Richards signing seems good business .. Ewing replacement ??

Not sure why Barrows gets another season unless its to move into the AB staff side later as IMO he isnt up to NL level.

Like to a see a big strapping quality central defender come in to pair up with Evan or JB

How many RBs do we need Rose n Starbuck , Barrows backup .. so this Ogle rumour is a tad strange add to that hes been out injured most of the time.

Must be another signing incoming as PD has proclaimed thus so on the FFB page

Got to laugh the club only want to take on another sales executive to sell yet more sponsorship deals.
And there was me thinking we had no money (well from what most posters tell us on here) seems we’ve loadsa money to bring in non playing staff.

Having just seen the ad for a club sales EXC i was thinking similarly AWG .. for a business that is so skint it needs constant outside fundraising and with failure or success solely based on performances on the pitch is it absolutely necessary for extra non playing staff …lets get the squad sorted first

“I’m struggling to understand some of the outrage”

I wouldn’t call it outrage, it’s more annoying than anything. I get that gathering sponsors is a way for the club to increase funds, but every other day they are seeking sponsors.

It’s getting a little silly and repetitive now.

We’ll be collecting the rain water on the pitch this coming season and sell it off in shot glassess next.

Not seeing any outrage just fans commenting on how the club seem to have this blanket coverage re sponsorship which does drift into over kill territory at times.

Any funds coming into the club are desperately needed and how ever and who ever they arrive from doesnt bother me (unless a criminal entity) …

Any light hearted tongue in cheek ideas on Mr Sparks next sponsorship gig ???

Put your company name on the back of the bog door thus showcasing your products to ….

Agree with most recent posts on the subject.

Not very inventive. All he’s basically doing in looking for people to sponsor everything. Is this the kind of creative mindset we really need for alternative revenue streams ?

WGs .. not sure what else there is left to do re alternative revenue streams but this constantly chasing sponsorship is just over kill and whilst its harmless for those not interested it may well irritate some fans when its occurring so often and the reason to sponsor becomes more obscure which was the main point of my earlier post.

Scunny will be treading water in the NL for many a year without more investment however it arrives ..preferably a new owner with loads of spare cash to chuck away.

I see Glyn ‘sponsor player toe nails clippings’ Sparks is fishing for more sponsorship ..this time for the clubs golf day.
Does this guy ever had a day off ?
Does he wake up having dreamt up another plan ?
Is there anything left to sponsor ?

16th June and so far only whispers of what coming to keep fans gagging for more … IMo not the way to go but i would be amazed if a new signing is announce before some one or company had coffed up for the honour of being the TRANSFER SIGNING SPONSOR.

AWG for sure change is needed , preferably new owners investors with deep pockets as that seems like the only way out of the NL league if York n Dale are anything to go by

Not a fan of Butler but lets see how things pan out this coming season with who HE signs and without Cal Roberts.
Agree there are some “well weathered faces” at SUFC not dissimilar to my grans sideboard or Hilda Ogdens ducks they seem to survive season upon season escaping the cut whilst offering over par results time after time…. Muzzie should have gone same time as Lee Turnbul left the building but cant see anything changing with the current club mentality until that elusive new owners comes down the AAGP chimney.

Shaping up to be a very interesting few weeks with signings new kit launch etc .. oh and pre season though must say thats looking a bit weak as it stands.

26/27 season finish anywhere 7th to 20th … even with York n Dale gone funny feeling its gonna be a long hard season with a few others splashing the cash that Scunny simply cant match.

On a very happy ending great to see BS as shirt sponsor so its not all doom n gloom.

btw .. ITS NOT COMING HOME and im going for a draw v Croatia

Only watched the YouTube eight to nine minute highlights so far, kick off times being unreasonable.
The winning teams seem very incisive in using the wings.

Same here .. extended highlights only as KO times are dreadful ..

    US and Korea looked tasty.

Jocks tomorrow morning 8am KO i MAY MAY tune in as i cut the grass today so tomorrow morning is free.

Such is the poor communication club to fan base i would not even contemplate buying a season ticket if i did live in the UK .. i would pay as i go and pick n choose games depending on my life circumstances and the standard of football on offer in relation to mowing the grass or attending Gala bingo Saturday afternoon megs session .. i would also choose to abstain from these ridiculous Cat A fixtures regardless… purely out of stubborness.

Seriously need players in. The better free transfers are going already. From the buying already of certain clubs in this league, we’ll be lucky to finish midtable.

No doubt we would have been in for some of those already snapped up but the budget is killing us.

There wont be any signings announced until the latest Sparks brain fart ” transfer Announcement sponsor” is contractually locked and and paid up as any transfer dealings announced wold negate the platform on which this idea is based.

Say it again ..the club have little interest in keeping fans updated on most things club related unless its based on donations sponsorship or freebie services which for a professional football club BUSINESS is both wrong and embarrassing.

Whilst we are all waiting with baited breath for the Poz Dave SORRY i mean SUFC announcement of a raft of high quality signings the current situation tends to mean we are heading for a tough season.. so much hangs on who we can get in over the coming month or so.

I am of the opinion finishing anywhere from 7th to 20th is on the cards ..so flirting with both the playoffs and relegation may well happen during the course of the coming season.
