The cost was advertised when the new site opened, just some of you to blind to see.
The cost off stickers and labour is born by the company Advantage sponsorship not the club, the club only get 75% of the fee Advantage get the rest.
What the company really want is the advertising on the back of your seat the one you’ll see all game not your own personal one, still £24 a pop with a minimum of 10 seats required. So 64 and Apollo no matter how much you try and defend and justify the club will just take any money from any one, as you can see on a regular basis.
Wonder how many times the club turn round to a company and say sorry we don’t except the values of your scheme and refuse to offer it to the fans lol.July 2, 2026 at 1:44 pm #322623I think the use of the word ‘install’ is doing some heavy lifting here. It’s a sticker
July 2, 2026 at 1:56 pm #322624” For a one-off payment per season, you can personalise a seat with your name, a dedication, or your business branding — visible to thousands of supporters every time they walk through the turnstiles.”
How many seats can you see as you walk through the turnstiles? Nobody in the DRE will see anything at all!
July 2, 2026 at 2:34 pm #322625Contacted them myself, (contact form top of their page) to let them know my feelings.
Asked them to stop their money grabbing and told them imo it’s tarnishing the club with all the begging.
I await a reply lol. What if they reply, ‘start coming to home matches more and we might give a toss’?

July 2, 2026 at 3:15 pm #322627Or Cass £42,95 gets you a engraved brick in the centenary wall and that’s forever, and which is viewed by thousands who go to the club ticket office and shop.
Now let’s see a solid brick in Peter Swanns wall or a piece of plastic tat from the present incumbents.
July 2, 2026 at 3:23 pm #322628Unfortunately it would seem that a lot of clubs are jumping on the milk the fans bandwagon not just ours. Stand firm and if you don’t want to give any more don’t.
If fans start to walk away they will change. If there is enough happy to part with their money good luck to them. Just look at the number of shirts they sell. The price of replica shirts these days amazes me but if you are keen to buy why shouldn’t the club make some money.
Just look at England shirts at almost £100 but they are selling.1 user thanked author for this post.
July 2, 2026 at 3:58 pm #322629Just an addition to my comments above. There must be lots of fans with plenty of money.
Been watching fans throwing beer away when England score. Not something I would consider. Sacrilege!!.1 user thanked author for this post.

July 2, 2026 at 7:04 pm #322633Like a couple of posters on the tuther side have said just because other clubs have doesn’t mean we have to.
One has researched and found that he could get a standard season ticket and parking at premiership Hull city as what he pays for his executive ticket and parking at Scunny 28% increase he says!
Wouldn’t be so bad if the board came out and say we’re going to break the bank to get out this league, fans would be more inclined to get behind them.
Not what non league football is renowned for or the ethics of it.What they offered.
1, 17% minimum increase in season ticket prices.
2, £10 pounds charge for a physical season ticket free all other seasons.
3, no player signings announced until someone paid for them.
4, £6 a month to join the iron insider everything been free up to now.
5, advantage seats £24 for seat naming.
Sorry if I’ve missed anything else out.
And all this since the season ended and still with over a month to go before season start, have other clubs really tried to milk the fans as much has ours have.1 user thanked author for this post.
July 2, 2026 at 8:41 pm #322637It was cheaper to go to Hull City last time they were in the top flight too.
£24 behind the goals last season.
And you’ll get those who say “well go watch them” as having your private members club is more important.July 3, 2026 at 5:49 am #322640They’ve always being laconic in their email communication with staff, suppliers and fans.
To suit them.
July 8, 2026 at 1:47 pm #322845Bloody disgusting they’re charging for injury info on Beestin and the like, evidently he’s had a double hernia op.
Came out in the paid Butler interview.July 8, 2026 at 2:02 pm #322847What they offered.

I personally don’t care,I’ll go to games, buy my Pie and Bovril then maybe comment on here about the games
It costs the club to get news out so those devouring it should pay,and it should be at a profit. All profit means we may survive and prosper.
You seem to want Lionel Messi to sign and the club somehow provide a personal online valet for you for free1 user thanked author for this post.
July 9, 2026 at 9:45 am #322890A business can sponsor your seat (sticker on the back facing the seat behind) without your consent, whereas you can opt to pay to personalise your own seat with a sticker on the front. The business advertising on seats is odd. Who is going to see the sticker other than a few people sitting in the row behind?

I’m still struggling with the idea that, in the article promoting personalising your own seat with Advantage, the club promised it would be “visible to thousands of supporters every time they walk through the turnstiles.” Presumably not in such a way as to be actually legible, but…
Back of seat advertising seems even more problematic in that regard.
July 9, 2026 at 11:16 am #322892You pay for other news, either via a tv licence, broadband connection or physically buying a newspaper.
Nowt’s free!

July 9, 2026 at 11:35 am #322893You do realise that you 64 started the ‘Iron insider’ thread.
You do come across very weird, make your mind up 2 weeks ago you said the club were classing you as a second class fan, said your getting sick of the club and screw the club.
Now your fully behind the club yes your very weird to say the least.
Ps, two faced as well it would seem.July 9, 2026 at 11:53 am #322895When I go and buy a newspaper, TV licence or broadband, the vendor just sells me that product. Scunny should do the same, last time I looked we were a football club not a media empire.
Int old days Scunny were grateful for the free promotion from the Evening telegraph, well that was till Swanny wanted to charge them, then I believe many of you thought that was wrong just saying mind.July 9, 2026 at 1:17 pm #322897You’ll get all this mind blowing, earth shattering Iron news anyway awaywego. Just a bit later than a few others. Add it to the list of things that slow down in later life.
July 9, 2026 at 1:47 pm #322900I remember when you could ring “Club Call” after 5pm on a Saturday and get the score and a brief report. That went on your phone bill.
July 9, 2026 at 2:17 pm #322901Are you sure this wasn’t conducted by telegram?
July 9, 2026 at 2:53 pm #322902The info about Beestin was free on the BBC sounds interview with Butler last night, whats the problem with you guys no one is forcing anyone to pay for anything except the match fee, its a free world do what you want but if there are people who want to pay/sponsor then great as it all helps the club no matter what it is and it means we can carry on supporting our team
July 9, 2026 at 3:10 pm #322904Perhaps everyone would be a receptive to this initiative if we were shown club accounts, plans and finances in an open and transparent way. Of course, it’s a choice for people to make, but the notion that you are, by definition, a lower caste of fan if you don’t is particularly offensive.

I once rung “club call” up and didnt put the phone receiver down properly. It was still playing the next day. Ran up a £50 bill which was quite a bit of money in those days

July 9, 2026 at 4:05 pm #322907Course your a lower class fan your behind somebody when it comes to priority tickets, for people who go every week but can’t afford a season ticket it’s hardly fair.
Chester city fans had issues in the playoff final here when some of their ex pat fans were getting tickets in front of other Chester casuals.
Same with their season ticket holders taking the free kids season tickets where others didn’t giving them more tickets when it came to priority games.July 9, 2026 at 4:37 pm #322909Maybe a bit Stuart Little, but though maybe ‘lower caste’ in the club’s eyes, you’re as a big (or ‘proper’) fan as you feel. For instance, I doubt someone who doesn’t pay for exclusive goggling of players scratching their nacks through the glass players tunnel at Man City view themselves as lesser supporters. The club probably view them as cash rich idiots.
July 9, 2026 at 4:56 pm #322911I feel no less of a supporter. The language and presentation of this particular scheme is the issue for me. What it offers is not of huge interest. I can live without club curated interviews and access to behind the scenes footage.
