Came on for start of 2nd half at App Frod.
Says he was subbed after 16 mins – Alfie replaced him. Anyone know why ?
July 12, 2026 at 7:02 pm #323027Injured again I’m afraid, best forget about him and rely on someone else.
July 12, 2026 at 7:44 pm #323028Injured after 16 minutes?
Get rid, he’s a sick-note.
We do seem to have had more than our fair share of those over the years.July 12, 2026 at 8:24 pm #323032The new Jordan Hallam?
July 13, 2026 at 3:15 am #323035Shame if he is a permacrock decent player when first arrived.
Best sign another RB THEN ..OH HANG ON A MO already got 5
July 13, 2026 at 11:58 am #323037Hadn’t he had issues when at Peterborough hence why he was on loan with us ?
Another long term injury is not cost effective is it.
July 13, 2026 at 12:08 pm #323038Isn’t it a torn hamstring he’s had repaired? Seem to remember AB saying it was frayed and needed a long while after the op for recovery. Hope the lad isn’t going to be another player who just can’t keep his fitness, shame a decent player on his day and has bags of scope for improvement, fingers crossed for the lad.

July 13, 2026 at 12:48 pm #323040Tried the magic spray around groin strain area. Probably just a precaution to take him off.
For £6 a month maybe you get an update.1 user thanked author for this post.

For £6 a month maybe you get an update.I’ve heard for a tenner a month you can run on the pitch and spray it for yourself, everything is a sponsorship avenue 😂

We do seem to have had more than our fair share of those over the years.Callum Roberts came to us with a history of being injured. Ended up playing a lot more games than he sat out.
July 13, 2026 at 3:56 pm #323045He’s got to play in 34 games this season just to get to the stage of having played one more game than those he’s sat out, unless he’s injured of course then it’ll god knows how many.

For £6 a month maybe you get an update. Will sit in blissful ignorance. Even if blessed with untold riches I would give not one penny.
Actually think it is a disgrace, treats some as 2nd class fans. Got money they want to talk to you,
not fortunate having spent all you have they will think about it ! !July 13, 2026 at 6:32 pm #323048Tried the magic spray around groin strain area. Probably just a precaution to take him off.

not fortunate having spent all you have they will think about it ! !Absolutely spot on Sf49 .. i shall remain being a second class outsider fan of 45 yrs thus so my 6 quid in my pension fund or i might “waste” it on a soapy massage ..either way SUFC can whistle.

July 13, 2026 at 8:32 pm #323051To play devil’s advocate, did anyone raise these “second class citizen” claims when we were in the EFL? For those with short memories there was a thing called IronPlayer which was in force for over 10 years. You could only watch full match highlights and video interviews if you paid the annual subscription. Heck, if you were an out-of-towner you could only listen to the live radio commentary if you subscribed!

But all club information was to ALL supporters at the same time. I never had iPlayer I did not feel I lost out.
But if we are about to sign or sell a player then all supporters should see the same press releases at the same time.July 14, 2026 at 10:09 am #323057When I used to live down south I used to pay for iPlayer but that was to enable me to watch games I was unable to attend.
Maybe you got some “inside” information and manager/players exclusive interviews as well. Can’t remember now but wouldn’t have bothered watching or listening to those anyway.Imagine paying money for an Andy Butler club interview!
July 14, 2026 at 10:49 am #323058July 14, 2026 at 1:11 pm #323060All club information is still to all fans, is it not? I haven’t seen any cases to suggest otherwise? Only difference is you either pay for Iron Insider and you get to watch the full interview, don’t pay and you get to watch a snippet and read the full written version on the OWS.
July 14, 2026 at 2:08 pm #323061You conveniently missed the big one out Blt the priority ticketing.
What next dynamic pricing for big games.
If they’re hoping to get out this league then maybe about time the club put in a points scheme in that way everyone as the same chance season ticket holders and casuals alike, not just buying your way in front of someone else.July 14, 2026 at 2:18 pm #323062Not sure in our current situation priority tickets is actually worth anything much.
We are able to sell 7,000 tickets to Iron fans for home games which is surely enough even for a play off semi final which would be the biggest draw.Away play off games (as we saw with the Rochdale ticket shambles) the ticketing is in the hands of the home team so don’t see how an insider priority could be applied.
If we were fortunate enough to reach the final Wembley is probably big enough to cope.
July 14, 2026 at 3:46 pm #323066I did say ‘If’ they’re hoping to get out this league.
Grimsby give you less than 800 tickets nowadays. -
