Unreal scenes, probably the craziest end to a game I’ve ever seen (not entirely sure that Stones’ equaliser crossed the line mind!). Would definitely prefer Dale in the semi if we do happen to make it past Southend.

Congrats Cal Roberts, well deserved! First time a player has won it twice on the bounce?

Sure everyone who went or by other means took the game in would have noticed the total lack of atmosphere yesterday, wasn’t really bothered either way about the drum till yesterday but when it’s not there and the atmosphere it creates I must admit it was sadly missing no matter how hard the youth tried to create some.
I remarked to my son at one point you could here a pin drop it was that quite.

Absolutely this! Said this in the now infamous drummer thread…when it’s not there the atmosphere is shite.

Agree with Cass above, the only time we’ve looked anything close to decent playing 3-5-2 was Boreham Wood away. Pat Jones at RWB is a travesty.

1 goal from open play in the last 4 is the biggest worry. Shite form going into the playoffs with Roberts potentially missing isn’t exactly ideal.

What? Southend can still finish 5th with us finishing 6th. In which case, you guessed it, Southend away!

Absolutely. If there’s one player who I’d be gutted to see leave at the end of the season it’d be Roberts.

As it were, I voted Westbrooke 2nd and Rowley 3rd, but they’d be much easier to replace than Roberts…IMO.

If we kept our composure when in and around the oppositions penalty area we could have easily won by 3 or 4. Far too many wrong decisions made in the final third.

Imagine the scenes when Beck gets the winner at Wembley as a last minute sub

He’s already got a history of scoring goals at Wembley so wouldn’t put it past him!

The whole situation is being blown out of proportion in my opinion. Someone gets told off by a steward for shouting abuse at Butler. One rightly gets thrown out for abusing a steward. Butler mouths ‘f off’ (not ‘out of the ground’ as BLT has claimed) and people are up in arms about it). Relatives follow the ejected out the ground. The ejected person is banned. Apart from the last bit, which seems harsh, no one would bat an eyelid had it happened around them in the Mortz. If it was such a big deal at the time to others, why didn’t anyone intervene? Anyhow, that’s my opinion. Sorry if it doesn’t chime with the pile on.

What “abuse” was shouted at Butler? Something along the lines of “bloody rubbish Butler” or a general airing of frustration is not abuse.

Bhuna states that Butler mouthed F off and gestured with his hands to get out of the ground. Sorry that was a bit tricky for you to comprehend.

So as confirmed by Fansy from the previous event he witnessed (I believe that was also with Bhuna) and with this latest one, Butler has taken it personally when somebody has generally voiced frustration at what is playing out on the pitch in front of them…with zero abuse aimed directly at Butler himself. He’s then escalated things by telling Bhuna et al. to F off out of the ground.

If that’s the case then TheJuryeffsOut has already aptly described this situation – pathetic!

Is it conflicting though? It depends what is being determined as “shouting abuse at the manager”.

If it is just “bloody rubbish” or “change it Butler” then that in no way contributes as “abuse”…in my humble opinion of course.

Butler’s ego will be his downfall. How the hell would he cope at a bigger club with bigger expectations than little ol’ Scunny!?

Even on RH post match any sort of criticism aired towards him, the team or the performance and you can immediately tell he’s absolutely fuming. Needs to grow up.

Would be nice if the management team came out and let the fans know if they’ve downed tools until the playoffs, especially for those intending to travel.

54 minutes, 1 powder puff effort on goal, zero urgency, unable to string 2 passes together, headless chickens at the back, Barrows thinking he’s a keeper. Probably the worst performance of the season so far. But never mind, IA is happy…clearly hasn’t looked at the live table thinking finishing 4th or 5th is guaranteed.

Being treated like a bloody training match. Half a second string lineup with a completely new formation (4-1-3-2?). Don’t get it myself.

Spot on…they’ve made some mistakes (particularly in entertaining the FC100k fiasco) but without them we’d be AFC Scunthorpe or some similar phoenix club in the Dog and Duck League.

A big thanks to whoever the massive donations are coming from as well (was it £300k last season?)…just a speculative hunch but my guess is that’s from the Wharton family.

The drummer doesn’t bother me, what does is the crap tune played as soon as we score a goal at home.

Could be worse…Bayern Munich play the bloody Can-Can!

a fair amount of football supporters want drumming in stadiums gone.

Can we have this broken down into two groups please? Those that are eligible for their free bus pass and those who aren’t. Just a hunch but I have a feeling it would be heavily skewed in one groups favour!

T’was a song being sung at the end of the game which the club posted a video of. “He’s f*cking quick, got a massive d*ck, Jean Belahouan.”

I’m assembling an email group of our remaining away opponents’ CEO’s, and intend to be in touch to implore the banning of the drummer boy. The evidence and argument used in my narrative may bend the truth somewhat, as will the identity of the sender.

    Pathetic.

Never in doubt! Awesome for Dec to get the winner on his birthday. Should have been more with the couple of 1-on-1’s we fluffed.

Dec has been scoring goals playing as the central striker in a front 3 for Alty so absolutely no reason he can’t do the same for us.

All resulted from his initial poor clearance so unfortunately only has himself to blame.

Can’t complain about that fightback though, showed real guts to get something from the game.
