Feel sorry for the fans who have wasted their bank holiday travelling to Carlisle. Also feel sorry for players like Brennan and Hurst, what’s the point in signing out and out wingers if you’re going to set up with wingbacks. It’s really shaping up to be a long season.

Richards may have scored but seriously what is he offering in midfield?? He’s lightweight, gets bullied, looks terrified on the ball and I haven’t seen him play a pass forward yet. It’s no wonder we’re getting carved open like a knife through butter.
Keeper situation should have been sorted in the summer of 2025! Fitz is bench warming in League 2…get him back.

Thinks it’s the distinct lack of quality and defensive frailty that’s resulting in our lack of points, rather than the colour of our shorts and socks.

Closing them down would help. This defence is relegation fodder and will take us down along with the likes of Solihull Moors.

Parker worked hard enough but was a bit rough around the edges. Danny is on a very long dry spell (think it’s around 15 NL games now without a goal) but if he can get back to his best then he’s proven at this level and I’d still prefer him to be in our team than against us.
Gale does look promising though and I’m liking what I’m seeing. As much as Butler tries to tell us there’s absolutely no way he’s a no.10 though!

Dam I knew he was just lucky but I thought I’d blag it and hope for the best.
Oh there was plenty of luck involved in that victory, did you not see the first half? Shambolic defending to go 1 down and then Solihull miss 2 guilt edged chances to go 2 up, resulting in audible boos from the DRE. We go down the other end, Butterfield equalises from a massive deflection and we go in 1-1 at halftime and thankfully from that point were the better team.

Just saw the lineup for tonight…sigh. Barrows back in at right back, JB still on the bench, Richards in with Beestin dropped, only one winger in Jones on the pitch. Starting to agree with some that Butler appears to not have a clue what he’s doing, does he just throw darts at a dartboard to pick the team?

JB is a centre back masquerading as a full back. He should fit straight in…and we need that pace at the back!

At the game and wish I hadn’t bothered. I’ll repeat what I said after the Southend game…it’s bad, like, really bad.
But don’t worry, Eastleigh “will be right up there” at the end of the season so we’re allowed to be shite against them (and every other team in this division).

Yep, took a wicked deflection up into the air but Parker’s header to steer it goalwards was pretty impressive. He’s done naff all other than that mind!

Yeah apparently Yeovil are going to be “right up there” at the end of the season according to Butler and pretty much everyone on the FB group….so that’s them finishing up there with the likes of Hartlepool, Carlisle, Southend, Boreham Wood, Forest Green, Harrogate and Barrow who will all also “be right up there” so we shouldn’t worry if we look crap against any of those either I guess!
Not having 5 right backs would have been a good place to start.
We replaced Roberts (a right winger) with Brennan (a left winger) when we already have Jones for the left. Westbrooke replaced with Richards who looks completely lost. Ewing replaced with Butterfield who has quality but probably can’t last 90 mins.
The only upgrade is Howe replacing Boyce.
