It was bad enough last year with the goalie situation, but to go into it again is criminal. Maybe if Butler didn’t treat any questioning as hostile, he might have got out of his locked in mindset and improved the defence and goalkeeper.

Louis Jones is like Rory Watson, makes brilliant saves but very dodgy on low cross shots,also we need to ditch the claret shorts and socks, we have only got league points in sky blue shorts and socks

Richards may have scored but seriously what is he offering in midfield?? He’s lightweight, gets bullied, looks terrified on the ball and I haven’t seen him play a pass forward yet. It’s no wonder we’re getting carved open like a knife through butter.
Keeper situation should have been sorted in the summer of 2025! Fitz is bench warming in League 2…get him back.

I know it’s still early in the season but this is very worrying. We simply cannot even think about dropping down to NLN again, it would be a disaster. Valid point re the keeper situation. How lucky were we to have the likes of Roberts and Fitzsimons in NLN? Cheat code players for that level and now were a level up we have less quality. Madness.

When you start a season with 3 centre backs, one of whom you’re not prepared to play there then you might (do) have a problem.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again:
Butler is out of his depth.
His stubbornness and arrogance are, once again, costing us points.
Time to move him on and get someone who knows this league.
And I don’t care HOW it’s paid for, because, as has been stated before, a drop back to NLN would be a disaster, both in terms of support and of finances.
Wake up directors.
He needs to go.
