Hopefully Brazil win it, but probably Spain or France.

    I too have little interest…….

It’s Brazil Jim, but not as we know it!

Bruno Guimaraes, Casimero, Neymar, Vinicius Jnr, Matheus Cunha?

Hardly an upgrade on the likes of Carlos Alberto, Jairzinho, Socrates, Zico and Pele are they?

B-movie football in a Hollywood setting.

Have to agree with Xxx and fans (yep, another first).

It’s not bothering anyone and if it was another club doing it there’d be posters on here saying “look what so and so are doing, we should be doing the same”.

Certainly better than the chav-fest of last summer.

    Roberts, Westbrooke, Ewing.

Is this the consequence of not winning promotion?

Didn’t seem to have too much trouble retaining/attracting players last summer.

I know a few (mostly older gentlemen admittedly) who hate them. Guess it’s a generational technology thing.

Electric? Good for the planet? Well, yes. Until you see pictures of a lithium mine!

    Friendlies.Doncaster have announced 6, Grimsby 6 and Lincoln 4.
We have announced none even though we have one against Spalding arranged.
We really are backwards in coming forwards.

    But they are League Clubs!

    Hmm!

Mrs NI bought a Yaris Hybrid because she wanted something reliable after her old convertible kept failing to start.

Had it a couple of months, drove across to a friend’s house. Couple of hours later got in to find it wouldn’t start. After an hour and a half waiting for the AA the guy arrived and said that it was a common problem because the batteries they fit on the production line were cheap crap. Got it started and told her to drive straight home and contact the dealership. They said “okay our mobile unit will be with you in the morning”. Mobile Unit duly arrived the next day. Put a better quality battery in and took the original one away.

Yep! Toyota have a dedicated mobile unit that just travels the Northeast replacing the factory fitted crap with ones fit for purpose!

Aye, have disabled the lane change warning system on my car. If I don’t know I’m changing lanes then I’m not concentrating!

But for every new bit of kit you lose something else. Whatever happened to cassette/cd players and cigarette lighters?

Newcastle United paid £124 million for Woltemade and Wissa.

    Great value for money eh?

Mrs NI would have them banned along with pickups like the Ford Ranger and Isuzu D-Max.

My Chester supporter mate although he lives in Gateshead used to always have a Land Rover Freelander. “I need it for the dogs” he used to tell me. Not had any dogs for 10+ years now but drives a huge Range Rover. Prangs it regularly despite it having a reversing camera which he says he ignores because he doesn’t trust it!

The whole Land/Range Rover thing seems to be a badge of honour. Nothing to do with practicality, more the “look at me!” Kudos.

Worse than that, restaurants that price their menu at (for example) 7.5 when they mean £7.50.

They must save £££££££s on printing ink 😂

We scored enough goals to be a solid team, but we need to score more if we want to have a realistic shot of promotion. Defence was far too error prone though and was the bigger problem.

We scored enough goals to win half of our games.

    We drew 13!

Whether this was bad defending or not scoring enough earlier in the game is up for discussion.

I suspect it’s a bit of both, although we do have a habit of conceding late goals.

We’ve got a potential 20 goals a season striker in the building if we use him correctly.

    PS I don’t mean Whitehall.

Agree with wondergoals (yeah, I know. These things happen sometimes). Rowley and Westbrooke were both similar players.

Would rather we sign someone a bit more attack minded.

Westbrooke was never our player anyway so que sera, sera!
