I think that’s for him and the club to sort out.
Are you sure that’s kids training with the players or kids training the players?

Yeah, don’t get the downer on Barrows.

Very good point. Which says a lot about the squad make up.
I have this sneaky feeling that the current directors see our natural level as NLN… Just as Wharton’s mob saw it as League Two.
Ridiculous statement Alky. Even by your standards.
Because?
I don’t believe there is a football club in the country that wishes it were in a lower league.
They either yearn for playing at a higher level or are happy at the level they are at.
We’ve just spent £££££££s on improving the playing surface. Why would we do that if we didn’t want to improve performances?
But you know better of course.

Is Denton fit?
Wondering why he hadn’t featured.
Hopefully something can be sorted out that will be of benefit to both him and the club.

Wide man Kyle Hurst with the cross?
Not sure what’s going on with positivity Dave, but he spawned out of nowhere on Gareth’s post match reactions. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he’s not a club plant of some sort. In my opinion he’s too cringy not to be.
Why would the club “plant” a happy clapper?
Makes no sense.
Why was he rated at Boston?
Had a great season for the Red Sox!
In which case he’ll end up back on loan at Altrincham where he’ll start scoring for fun.
Do I not like, our previous owners statement saying you need a plan B and a plan C, even telling fans where he thinks they’ve learned from last season and built a more physical team, and bloody hell he’s even telling the fans with updates on players leaving and why, along with what’s happening with the injured.
Sounds like they have plans/s bugger that.I don’t want to hear our owner saying that. I want it to come from the coaching staff.
Do I take it that we’re doing scores after 90 minutes for the Mickey Mouse Cup?
P’tang Yang Kipperbang.
Ding dang diddly CRAP.It’s RAP actually!

Two positives to take away from yesterday.
1) First time in a long while that two brothers started a league game for the Iron. No even sure if Keith and Barry Lindsey ever started a game together. I’m sure someone will know.
2) The much maligned kit looks better in all claret.
That is all!

Campbell
Starbuck Barrows Belhouan Denton
Smith Richards Rowley Jones
Whitehall Hurst.
After X minutes: Gale, Parker, Butterfield, Rose (if fit) Shipstone.
Could start with Evans and Howe bros if needs be. I forget what the silly rule is regarding players who started the last league game.
Both Whitehall and Barrow’s played the full 90 mins against Yeovil and then he drops them!
With this squad it’s difficult to get the starting XI right/wrong*.
*Delete as appropriate
I broadly agree with you that the loss of £70,000 of taxpayers money should raise questions.
You dismiss Iron-Awe’s comments but on the Farage thread he points out that the publicity stunt that was the Clacton bye-election wasted £250,000 of taxpayers money. That’s over three and a half times more than the desperate lady in the OP.
You didn’t start a thread decrying that and I think that’s where the two tier thing comes in. The rich and powerful get away with it and Joe Public gets slated.
There’s some lefty truth for you.
“A street kid is arrested.
He’s gonna do some time.
He gets out three years from now,
Just to commit more crime.
A business man is caught,
With 24 kilos.
He out of jail and out on bail.
And that’s the way it goes”2 users thanked author for this post.
Pretty much agree ‘tash.
Richards looks lost. Mind you the whole midfield played like they’d just met. Pat Jones LW please Andrew! Rowley first name on the teamsheet.
Full back conundrum just got worse as did the main striker problem.

I don’t blame Jones for the goal. If Ogle had been goal side of his man he could have cleared it.

Are you counting the foul throw in that?

Not a lot of creativity on show today.
Poor goal to concede, totally avoidable. So we could have come away with a draw which we certainly didn’t deserve.
Team looked unbalanced. Pat Jones playing far too deep. Sloppy play from both fullbacks. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Barrows and Denton back against Eastleigh.
Pressure on Bultler if we don’t get three points next Saturday.
Wish we were level with Cardiff!
Aye, Rowley instead of Richards would have made more sense.
Poor turnout at under 45%.
So only 28% of Clacton voters put their tick next to NF. The arsehole couldn’t be bothered to turn up to the declaration.
Enjoy a pint Nige, the investigation has just reopened.

Give him a couple of weeks and he’ll be saying he can never get the starting lineup right with the squad he’s got!
Ah, avarice! One of the seven deadly sins you know.

3. You always hear the thumping bass line rather than any actual music. Apparently this is the reason:
“Low bass has long wavelengths and can move through walls or car doors. If an audiophile wants deep bass, a large room is required to let the wave develop and keep in the same room. The interior of a car is tiny and most bass is lost to the outside. You hear the bass louder than the occupants of the car, that is why they turn it up even more.”
