Does it mention Dave’s cut is 95% of the take🤔
Funny thing is Ironawe twas only 4 games before you were supporting the boo boys that is you NI and Deerey amongst others when KVV was booed onto the pitch on 84 mins on the first day of the season.
Who’d have thought that hey.Took longer than I thought it would for you to wheel out that history re-write.
He’s always been thin skinned when you mention “ knuckle dragger “, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree even if it was back in his younger days 😂
Wooton was a young impressionable player when he was getting the boo boy treatment, despite being played in the wrong position you wouldn’t expect the average knuckle dragging boo boy to understand that, he was probably relieved to get away. Butler is a street wise ex player who won’t give a toss about boo boys, if we get promoted again they will be cheering him. Butler knows that.
“A streetwise ex-player who won’t give a toss about boo boys…”
Translation: a thin skinned mardy hump who tells supporters questioning him to f*** off.Show me a professional player who’s not thin skinned, Butler has been involved as a professional in football for 25 years plus, nobody on this forum has I would wager, not many professional people in football give a toss about fans opinion, why should they it’s a job to them a fan is a short form of the word fanatic, different beast altogether.

The sustainable level is probably Northern premier league football, maybe even lower.
Which if true proves just how many unsustainable clubs are being funded out of rich people’s pockets.

The need for a reliable extra income stream becomes more obvious with every volunteer request by the club, our current board have done a great job with the limited funds they possess.

Steady on IFA those lady boys might start chasing you.
Gooooood player is Loberts.
Disclaimer Loberts
Everyone here in general says Rs sounding as Ls it was a little subtle IFA attempt at humour and didnt want to point it out and upset the massage lasses especially when they may have a delicate part of my anatomy under pressure. There’s me thinking you were trying to create some sort of link with the old now gone Scunny boozer The Lord Roberts as some sort of Cal tribute, well he is football royalty when it comes to the National League.
Yes alcy they are laying a new one been doing it for almost a week now.

It’s not the VAR that’s faulty it’s the human lack of consistency in interpreting what it’s showing them, some of the decision making is so hap hazard it’s comical.

If the NL had a decent promotion structure instead of just one automatic place then Rochdale would have been up and away the same day as York. Shame for Boreham Wood but when the dust settles they will know for a club of their size they have had a phenomenal season. Rochdale finishing twenty points clear of the other playoff teams deserve their promotion.

Horton and Ewing are loans are they not? It’s in the list under “OPTIONS”
Not sure how much obvious it can beHorton and Ewing signed contracts last summer for a year with an option for the club to retain their services for another season, that option has been taken up by the club meaning they are still Scunthorpe United players for next season and if other clubs want to sign them we can demand a fee. I hope they both stay but money talks.

Has BPG become a moderator?
Nothing appears very moderate about bill more like a dictator or maybe the tator bit isn’t required.
Was thinking about the distance travelled Awaywego, 120 miles further to Torquay.

Hornchurch promoted almost a London club, not on a Tuesday away please.
Could be worse could have been Torquay away on a Tuesday night.
Hang on haven’t we secured a £750,000 efl grant for pitch improvements? If we can’t come up with something decent after that investment we are totally clueless when it comes to getting a decent surface in place for August
Great news about Ewing and talking to Roberts is a positive, shame about Brogan in two seasons he’s never really figured in Butlers plans which is a shame, guess he just doesn’t fancy him in his squad.
You would think so about Bunker, however Smith has shown so far that’s not always the case, hoping for a big improvement from him next season.

Agree about needing to shoot more, we tend to overplay too much at times when a simple wack it from 25 yards and take a chance is often the way to go in a lot of people’s eyes. It’s all very well playing pretty passing football but pointless with no positive end product.
Never did it for us though, despite 11 braces.
Well at least his pants never fell down with all those braces.
I get your points Awaywego but as you say fans yardsticks don’t count because the owners make the decisions regarding club manager appointments and whether they believe the manager employed by them is doing a good job, that’s where the differences are . The people pulling the purse strings will always have the final say and I reckon most fans except that as pretty unchangeable but opinions are different things altogether and we are all allowed one of them and IMO I reckon the manager is doing a decent job overall .

Was down at the ground yesterday just after the match being played had finished, 8-8 apparently between John leggot college and some Hull team or so I was told by a guy in the car park, who also said pitch renovations were starting today but again that was just his version of events. Not much defending taken into consideration for that match though 😂
I’m guessing the owners have different yardsticks to measure what they class as success for the club based on expectations from finances provided by them and promotion followed by consolidation, which included a playoff semi final, I reckon will suffice for them. I’m happy for AB to stay based on his record over two seasons as manager and the budgets he’s had to deal with, he’s not got every call on team affairs right but which manager does if we’re being honest about it.
Maybe we should sign Vincent Kompany as manager, former centre back whose Bayern Munich team win nearly every game playing attacking football, however he has the right playing budget to help him out a bit. Give Butler a York Ciy budget and we will be promoted no problem.
I’m not sure you’re right.
He’s done the “sit on it, everyone behind the ball” too often for me, and often to our cost.Till he gets the York City budget though I’m not sure your right either, pure speculation and speculating about Butler being replaced given his track record is laughable.

It’s more about budgets them managers IMO , we can’t prove it either way of course but the team going up had head and shoulders the biggest budget in the division, the Boreham Wood manager deserves a lot of credit for managing his team to a play off final at this level.
