Once again alcy it’s about moving on, nothing stands still and that includes new recipes, dishes and the desire for wanting something that used to be out of reach in a winter. The market said “ we can now get you this all year round “ and the consumer replied “ yes please “.
I think Tuchel will be the sour kraut today I-A!
Touche as in Turtle
I don’t think Tuchel is any better than Southgate. If DS was vanilla, then TT must be pickled onion!
Your coming across more sauerkraut NI
Not that I want TT gone but Clipty Klopp would be my choice if going now while available.
I believe his countrymen are chasing him pretty hard to look after their national side but you certainly like the German connection Awaywego, do you wear lederhosen at the weekends 🤔😂
OK then who do you want brought in if you say TT has failed then boot him out but come up with a name if you want him gone and explain why he or she would be different ( put the she in there just for Awaywego )
Yeah it’s a bit like MacMillan saying “ you never had it so good “ because we were coming out of post war rationing and had begun to receive better social housing plus we now had an NHS. Ironically it was the post war Labour government who began the mass social housing programme and introduced the NHS but that didn’t stop a Tory prime minister with a privileged upbringing trying to take a slice of the glory . In truth the so called golden age was simply bringing the rest of the ordinary people up to a better standard of life they could have been given many years before if successive governments had wanted to, but didn’t.

So what now, stick with a coach who tactically until the last 30 minutes last night had got things pretty much right before or go chop changing which isn’t the usual FA brief when it comes to England managers. I’d stick with him, he certainly has appeared more passionate on the touch line then any England managers in recent times and that seems to be an important characteristic in lots of fans minds and I do believe he will learn from last night and try to push us forward more tactically savvy. Let’s be right last night was a difficult game against difficult opposition and I thought we rode out the first half pretty well. Once the ref eventually got round to booking one of their players it certainly let them know they couldn’t keep going down the shithousery route all game and get away with it. For me on reflection we learn from it and move on plus no one else coach wise comes to mind who would do much better and I don’t believe we need radical change for us to take the next step forward.

The last line of your post makes a valid point Awaywego despite it being laced with irony.
What used to work alcy would not work anymore as the times you speak of involved a smaller population being serviced by a lot less lack of choice. You cannot turn the clock back and if you ever take the time to take in the vast amount of huge warehouses all supermarkets and other large brands now possess due to consumer demand you may take a different view. We left the eu because some people thought turning the clock back would work better, newsflash , it doesn’t.

Just as a matter of interest how much did the new pitch cost ?
Who has paid for it ?Reportedly a million quid ( shareholders meeting info I believe) and again reportedly £750,000 is covered by an EFL grant and the club is meant to stump up the other £250,000 quid. Now nothing concrete on all this has been forthcoming on the website I don’t think although others will correct me I’m sure if it has all been officially disclosed.
Thought the TT referred to Touche Turtle ( one for us oldies ) well there was only one Dum Dum tonight.
Tuchel has been tactically excellent till the last 30 minutes of this match after we got in front, then he got it wrong and Argentina deserved to win based on that second half.

Lorries getting bigger every year, and more of them.
The damage they do to roadsurfaces becoming more obvious, yet being roundly ignored by the authorities, or blamed on car drivers.
And all while rail freight yards lie empty and derelict, both here and in Europe. Some good points about road damage on the other hand have you ever tried to back a freight train into a Marks & Spencer’s warehouse?
Ten year guarantee?
Best quality Axminster then!
The very finest NI I believe the MP’s have their toupee’s made of the same stuff.
Well after all that money and preparation plus a ten year guarantee I would guess not mick.

Well Super duper France were bang average tonight, thoroughly deserved Spanish win and they will be a tough nut to crack in the final whoever gets through.
As far as I’m aware hosepipe bans have always been about domestic supply it couldn’t be anything else if you think about it, plus Scunny aren’t watering their new pitch with a bloody hosepipe that’s for sure, honest it’s being watered and looked after.
Sorry Ironawe just don’t get your post!
Commercial Exemption, Health and Safety, obviously can’t use hose pipes for other tasks like cleaning down seating and terracing, most bans are domestic property non essential tasks like watering a lawn that doesn’t need watering anyway and gardens although you can water with a watering can.

Clubs aren’t allowed to water no hosepipe no sprinklers just watering cans around the goalmouth.
😂😂😂good try Awaywego
There was certainly a lot more of a good neighbour thing going on back when I was younger, don’t think it had anything to do with politics it was basic human kindness and friendliness as I recall.
Your correct DM but I think some people post based on the last post on the thread rather then read the whole subject matter through, this often leads to misinterpretation.
Tried the magic spray around groin strain area. Probably just a precaution to take him off.
For £6 a month maybe you get an update.I’ve heard for a tenner a month you can run on the pitch and spray it for yourself, everything is a sponsorship avenue 😂
Isn’t it a torn hamstring he’s had repaired? Seem to remember AB saying it was frayed and needed a long while after the op for recovery. Hope the lad isn’t going to be another player who just can’t keep his fitness, shame a decent player on his day and has bags of scope for improvement, fingers crossed for the lad.

Another battling performance from England, Tuchel not happy with his side tonight but we have a world class asset in Jude Bellingham and boy we sure needed him tonight 🏴
I’ve more confidence in Butler than you that’s for sure

Friendlies are all about increasing match fitness and trying out different players in different systems, the fact we are two wins from two is a bonus but fans should be moaning about nowt in these games, when the season starts and we are ten games in then we can all start reflecting on how things are going but these games mean nowt apart from the points raised earlier, avoiding injuries is also a priority.

Failed his medical too fat.
I believe alcy was trying to reflect his anger in some way but you are correct about our historical links with murder linking power and corruption. It happens the world over in whichever country but the act of murder particularly in a defenceless elderly person is just abhorrent, reckon most of us would agree on that.

Couple of lines from my long departed Dad to us as kids growing up
Curtesy costs nothing
Good manners are never out of placeAs you say alcy sadly lacking in some areas of society today, not all because some young people are very polite but quite a few others aren’t, maybe it was always this way, we tend to reflect on our past as being a little rosier than the present, that’s an age thing I believe.
