I am always optimistic but get real !
Think Rene got some ” real ale ” down him before he posted that league table.
Doesn’t take much to get the Hilton lover nibbling, really funny
Can’t beat a good singalong, didn’t Max Bygraves start all that, old singalongaMax or something. Didn’t he always want to “tell you a story”, anyhoo moving on.

Remember when tango man was Southend manager and we beat his lot 4-0 at GP, he looked rather forlorn and pissed off slumped in the dugout, hope it’s a repeat Friday night.
Nice to hear Michelle on the podcast saying neither Jimmy or his staff who left with him are on the club payroll anymore, obviously settled his payoff, wonder how long WHAM would have made Jimmy wait for his money? maybe forever?
Report on the GMB this morning reckons for every 100 tickets sold 50 will be fraudulent and people will be turned away at the venues. I know ticket fraud is rife but 50% of all sales being dud sounds a lot even by today’s dodgy ticketing standards. Apparently the bastard brothers will clear £50 million each after the tour, it’s always about the money.
I’m guessing after such a comfortable away win the previous game he was expecting better from his superstars at home, seeing his boys beaten so comfortably by a team seemingly in control for the majority of the game must have really unnerved him. Bless, a cup of tea and a bit of his Mums homemade fruit cake and he’ll be as good as new.
Well you posted something sensible so fair play to you.
Ha ha absolutely Xxx obviously 1964 to 2022 good spot by thee. Now where’s my TARDIS got to?
No contrition then WG, wouldn’t you like to address the elephant in the room.
But harsh on Whitehall, bringing up his big ears and extra long nose, there’s nose need for it.

On YouTube the South Shields manager isn’t exactly magnanimous in defeat!
Sounded like the classic interview from a guy who’s team were comfortably controlled by the opposition for most of the game but despite his team being beaten they are still the prettiest side in the league to watch. Whatever mate, it’s not always about winning the pretty way it’s about winning and if his team only know one way to play then he’s going to be disappointed again this season.
First gig gonna be on the banks of the Ganges apparently, read about it in the Hindu Times.
Reckon some of those East German female shot putt athletes back in the day would have stood a chance of winning today’s World Strongest Man title, scary stuff back then.

Who was commentating?
Sir Les Patterson.
Promoting Australian cheese no doubt.
Hoping the increased fitness in the squad will go some way to helping players through injury quicker or even prevent little niggles that sometimes last two or three weeks. If Shrimpton does only make the bench for the next two games he will undoubtedly make an appearance based on AB’s sub routine so far this season.
Yeah I’d take a draw tomorrow and a win next Friday night, four points from the next two games would be an excellent return looking at the opposition we face.
Would be nice if local owners returned the club back to the football league but I think the long term effects created by Swann then Hilton will make it a long haul. When the debt is finally cleared and hopefully sometime this season the club will have to maintain a sustainable business model to secure the clubs long term future and this will mean small playing squads and lower wage structures but hopefully our above average crowds for this current division we are in will sustain and this will enable us to remain extremely competitive in this division and the one above. I’m 69 and don’t envisage me ever again seeing league football at the Attis Arena and I’m really not that fussed about it as long as the club is still here for future generations of fans in our town, then hopefully they will once again Scunthorpe United return to the football league. I did see us play league football for 58 seasons from 1964 to 1922 so I guess I can’t complain because it was a wonderful time to be an Iron fan and I still very much enjoy watching the team today, so all good from me.
Think we might see Shrimpton over the next two games, certainly didn’t look injured yesterday doing sprints during the pre match warm-up.

Wonder where Steve Torpey is?, well maybe he’s away on holiday like a lot of other people this time of year.
The squad has been slimed down, aye good one Ben, guess we’d better call the Ghostbusters.
Why not stay away then and take your grandson with you, go fishing or something else bloody mundane you’ll probably enjoy it .
Should have been 3 up before we switched off and gifted them an equaliser, not having a go at Whitehall because he scored again but he missed a hat trick and should have at the very least scored a second. I’ll take 10 points from an opening 12 available it’s a more than decent start and we are still top, two tough games to come and we need to up our performance from today to meet the challenges ahead. Roberts looks so uncomfortable playing the role he is, should start Brogan on Monday in his place IMO.
Costs rise things cost more and after several seasons of no price increases for season tickets the club has recently had to put them up, it’s all part of being sustainable. You either want a professional club in your town or you don’t and as for your grandson he should pay more, what is he a bloody freeloader? Get a grip man and stop griping.
Good chance it will be a heatwave, so all the old folks including you bill can be out in your gardens Christmas Day wearing shorts and having a barbecue celebrating the birth of Jesus.
My praise doesn’t touch the side to what they get wrong, the equivalent of finding a penny but losing a pound so no joy for me.
Your a moaning git it’s in your DNA, we get it, honest.

Iron 3 Chorley 0 just like Kylie I can’t get this clean sheet thing out of my head, I’m sure it will pass once we begin conceding.
Really pleased for the lad, his work ethic is phenomenal and he’s a proper asset to the squad, good move for both parties and a lot more to come from Kian IMO.
Maybe Mark Bullingham could change his surname to Sweet. Imagine him picking up his office phone and saying ” Sweet FA here “.
Surely it should have been WHAM rap sheet if they’d done their job properly.
