Didn’t a similar thing happen with Ma Burlinson except the name she kept calling out was P Niss , had my brothers class in hysterics apparently. Ah the childish mind is easily amused, wouldn’t have it any other way.

Yeah thanks for that saleiron, I will be forever grateful for Michelle stepping in to help save our club but she’s not a good listen during interviews, too much um and err and you know for me.

My older bro has fond memories of Plod, apparently one day in class a pupil put up his hand to answer a question and Plod responded by saying “put down that arm boy before I break it off like a rotten twig”, sounded a really nice guy.

Butler’s BBC post match suggested there was an opportunity for Aston.

Positivity Dave is talking out of his backside.

TBF to PD he is very good at that.

A shirt full of logos what did you expect? It’s all about the money and you all should know by now, money first fans opinions last.

But will they have learned from last year, when they ordered the minimum amount of away shirts, sold out in under a month and couldn’t get any more?

What do you care you won’t be buying one?

Just to get back to the footy, game of the competition so far Egypt v Argentina, unbelievable comeback and a wonder goal by Messi. Egypt should have kept pushing forward IMO and it’s understandable their frustration about no review on the McAllister challenge prior to that winning goal but hey maybe Trump wants Messi in the final.

    Trump?
Living rent free in your head is he?
Was it his fault the Argies were gifted the last one too?

Joke alcy, btw can you do the Trump dance? Belgians were rather good at it after the fourth goal.

We had chevrons on the 1982/83 season kit if memory serves, basically a blue shirt with a claret chevron with very thin claret lines down the front. The new shirt is basically reversed with claret the main colour and a blue and white chevron, no thin stripes but lots of kit makers badges etc. Not fussed really it’s just a bloody shirt which we will be ignoring after the first five games of the season. Seen plenty of chevron’s on the road during my lifetime, maybe that’s the best place for them.

Getting your car filled up there from old petrol pumps and the smell of fuel coming across…

Ah yes and that famous little ditty

He was only an effeminate mechanic
But he sure liked the smell of Benzole

The guys just a huge turd and stain on politics in general but hey it’s straight out the Trump playbook, me me me me it’s all about me. Fair play to the major parties for not playing his ego game and choosing not to stand any candidates although it would be funny if the greens stood a candidate and slaughtered him. Thing is whatever happens the parliamentary investigation into Farage will continue, you can run Nigel you can continue to duck, dive and lie but you can’t hide.

I would rather have Peter Parker

When I was a kid our next door neighbours who were called Parker had a pig called Porky in their backyard. One day Porky escaped an ran riot in another neighbours veg patch four doors down. We once threw Porky an old football and he was totally useless with it. What a legend Porky Parker🐷

Yep but still finished on 27 goals and leading goal scorer by 5 goals, he is a massive threat on Saturday but cutting off the supply to him is probably the option England will adopt.

Guehi, Stones and O’Reilly should know how to handle Haarland surely?

Knowing how to handle Haaland and putting it into practice is a different challenge.

No problem with the tactics of Paraguay it’s the standard of refereeing I am fearful of tonight after witnessing what Paraguay got away with. Glad France won and loved the way Mbappe laughed in the Paraguayans faces in response to their intimidation. If that was an acceptable FIFA refereeing performance than the game is in trouble and it is all about the money all along.

Good point NI but that’s because we’re English I guess, as for Argentina well they aren’t that great and if Messi gets injured that’s them done, mind you if and when they meet France they will get proper done IMO.

It was great to watch and the Argies late on in extra time were rolling about after a challenge like they had been poleaxed, nothing new there. Fight, guts, spirit , determination but most important they played as a team and were very well organised, also scored the best goal of the game, brilliant stuff.

The Nazi were fascists and liars and murderers, what they called themselves is immaterial, Trump calls himself the greatest potus of all time and he’s a fruit loop and a liar. You probably love him alcy but I’m only guessing.
