The Directors should always take a holistic approach to the financial pros and cons of keeping or sacking any manager. It could be financially detrimental to keep a failing manager for too long to save money in the short term whilst risking plummeting gates and relegation to NLN, which I assume would be financially worse in the long run

August 23, 2026 at 12:34 pm #325386Can’t access either of Butler’s post-match interviews. Considering the shambolic defending was there any indication why 3 defenders that helped get a clean sheet against Stoke didn’t even make the squad? Not all injured surely.

Unless, of course, they feel that their outgoings would be reduced should we drop a league again?
Just saying…August 23, 2026 at 1:11 pm #325396Are we in danger of dropping a league after just three games in?, rather knee jerk IMO unless some have a set agenda against the current manager
August 23, 2026 at 1:22 pm #325397No not at the moment but we’re playing worse than the last time we got relegated out this league after 3 games.
Funnily enough Solihull was the 4 the game last time as well.August 23, 2026 at 1:42 pm #325399Losing can become a habit and you need to get out of that habit sooner rather than later. It’s okay giving the manager ten games but we need to start winning asap!
I said at the start of the campaign we needed to get points on the board early and if we only got ten points from the first ten games then he’d be under fire.
So he needs to win at least three of the next seven to get anywhere near that.
Already that’s looking a tough ask. Pressure definitely on.

You out don’t need an agenda about Butler to understand the signs are not looking good.

August 23, 2026 at 2:24 pm #325405Even PDs given a negative post he doesn’t know who the bast RB is, says it needs to be Ogle if not move him on.
Paddock Woods calling Raj to drop the insider malarkey , is a statement in itself of where we are, somebody needs to wake up and smell the coffee, quite happy for it to be Butler if not then it’s down to the owners .August 23, 2026 at 2:31 pm #325406No not at the moment but we’re playing worse than the last time we got relegated out this league after 3 games.
Funnily enough Solihull was the 4 the game last time as well. The game where we were three up in very quick time and lost 3-4 as I recall, we had a poor side that season.
August 23, 2026 at 2:42 pm #325407Not many calling for Butler’s head after three games – the 10 game mark, or 20-25% of the season – if we’re playing in the same shambolic way then serious discussion is needed. We just need some decent glimpses of what this side can offer because I’ve seen nothing yet (I don’t count the Mickey Mouse tournament)
