No real shocks ..
i would have kept Brogan and released Barrows and Campbell.
Should try to sign Westbrooke
ALL EYES ON CAL as it stands. Can only see we have kept hold of barrows because he’s loved by the board and good around the dressing room because i struggle to see any other reasons sadly. My money is now on roberts to sign for someone like Rochdale only based on a few comments he has made about the dale team.

Whilst there is a bit of chit chat traction ovver yonder re Cal Roberts staying IMO he will leave and i did predict he would be joining Rochdale amongst a couple of others.
Time will tell and as ever SUFC drag their feet with any updates re contract negs and transfer news.Hey Cass still a few pitch squares left 100 quid a throw come on you know you want one , oh hang on is that the new pitch or the old one and how deep does the 100 quid get you.
May 11, 2026 at 6:25 pm #320656They are doing something on the pitch.
I drove from old Tesco to M&S carpark via Jack Brownsword way, and was surprised to be following a tractor and 20 ton trailer down towards the ground.May 11, 2026 at 8:26 pm #320660Yes alcy they are laying a new one been doing it for almost a week now.

May 11, 2026 at 8:37 pm #320662I read either next week or week after they are doing something with the drainage too to help protect the pitch once it’s bedded down.
May 11, 2026 at 9:15 pm #320671Didn’t know it had started.
May 11, 2026 at 9:24 pm #320673How can you not have seen the club pictures of the pitch been stripped back with a tractor riding around on it ?. Does your cave not have electricity ?

Poor pensioner mate. Could you forego a couple of soapy massages and buy one?
May 12, 2026 at 4:21 am #320676By one and burn it. Absolute disgrace that pitch last season.

Thats a tough decision Cass NOT.. a square of totally useless soil in Scunny or 4 hours of untold pleasure, feeling refreshed, relaxed, happy and smelling like a trannies hand bag.
May 12, 2026 at 9:03 am #320684Steady on IFA those lady boys might start chasing you.

Im actually engaged to be married to a ladyboy .. some have called me crazy others a weirdo but for me the thought of never having to lift heavy things or mow the grass etc swayed me.

May 12, 2026 at 6:28 pm #320716Absence of activity, not unexpected, but also absence of news. Evans & Barrows due to sign last week – have they?
For balance Aldershot have just made their 6th, yes sixth, new signing.May 12, 2026 at 6:47 pm #320718Only 4 of them players though Cass, the only contracts that have been signed here are from the 3 wise monkeys, and they signed on the 5th of March, a month and a half of inaction since.

Rarely look at the clunky club website.
May 13, 2026 at 6:50 am #320721Jeez all that matters is the squad/team for game #1. Not filling helping to fill pages on here with signings of players through the summer. Last year the gripe was about ‘easy’ pre-season games
Can see the Strength of Yorks squad when they release the golden glove holder and they had a squad of 28 under contract.
