every single comment I’ve read suggests that England should have won, every single comment doesn’t take into account that a semi finalist is usually a very good team and most likely not going to just stand by and watch us play .It’s so easy to win if there’s no opposition thinking about how and busting a gut to beat you

“I think some liberals cringe at patriotic pride because it seems burlish and putting oneself above others, but I think it is healthy to have a pride in where you’re from. Why bother improving the country if you think it has no merit? It doesn’t mean you need to tip into jingoism – every country has positives and negatives, but looking at the good points and having pride shouldn’t be taboo. The French seem to manage it from all sides of their politics, so we can too, surely.”
My problem is purely that the people who wrap themselves in the flag or claim to be proud Brits usually manifest that in hatred of immigrants or most basely brown people who they feel cannot be “proper” British .I now find that national flags are tainted, for instance going into a town or even crossing Keadby bridge and seeing rags tie wrapped inappropriately embarrasses our still great nation .They use worlds like Patriot to disguise their racism ,as for nationalists whether it’s Scottish Irish, British or whatever ,their beliefs are usually based on hatred .They feel the need to set themselves against somebody .

Ironically it’s those who are berated for hating Britain that actually love what Britain is .It has faults but it would if still was a”white Christian ” country if it ever was. Those nice white Christian crooks “loved their mums” in our once great country .
I like living here ,it’s great .Could be better but we’re so lucky to be even having these conversations.
It’s the sort who Adolf Farage attracts that hate Britain, this still great country

When do you consider it was once great?
Our much revered royals sell their daughters for influence, politicians have traditionally connived and murdered their way to the top.We celebrate it too. Perhaps the vile woman will get a statue along with the slave traders and pirates that made it a once great country

I’ve just had another look. Could that “chevron” in fact be an arrowhead pointing to the sponsors logo? Great marketing!
Need contrasting shorts with home kit, all claret no good.

It’s pointing at the one pack that makes nearly all people who wear them look ridiculous

    What they offered.
1, 17% minimum increase in season ticket prices.
2, £10 pounds charge for a physical season ticket free all other seasons.
3, no player signings announced until someone paid for them.
4, £6 a month to join the iron insider everything been free up to now.
5, advantage seats £24 for seat naming.
Sorry if I’ve missed anything else out.
And all this since the season ended and still with over a month to go before season start, have other clubs really tried to milk the fans as much has ours have.

You don’t have to pay,the fact you seem desperate for utt says there’s something to pay for.
I personally don’t care,I’ll go to games, buy my Pie and Bovril then maybe comment on here about the games
It costs the club to get news out so those devouring it should pay,and it should be at a profit. All profit means we may survive and prosper.
You seem to want Lionel Messi to sign and the club somehow provide a personal online valet for you for free

I guess so, aesthetic design is pretty subjective but I just hate the dump on a badge without thought attitude, bit like the chains on last season’s abomination.

I quite like the design of the away shirt,l, should be home The home shirt is bad,the way the badge spills over the V edges looks sloppy and distracts .I assume the shirt is an off the shelf design so somebody must surely have thought shrink the badge to fit .
I don’t wear them so my tuppence is worthless anyway.
I find it amusing they once again use the lawyer,a reminder to today’s not so cool kids what they never had

I refrain from most of the club’s output anyway so if people want to pay for more ,that’s up to them.It becomes a hard sell if it’s signing announcement and everyday news some expect .
I have the biggest reservation over the ticket allocation Queue jumping for £60.People like me pay full price for nearly all games and the club know how much I spend on tickets and games I attend through their ticketing system .Somebody who attends no games can spend £60 and get preference over fans who attend the majority of games at full price.Thats grubby from the club.
As for moaning I think my reservations on fan involvement are pretty consistent and are usually my only concerns. Obviously blowing off after games is a separate issue.
That said, there are those on here looking for Michelle to tread on the cracks of the pavement to hammer her for while expecting her to pay for their pleasure

The hand picked supporters group is an attempt to get around some of the recommendations that come along with the independent regulator pulling.
Screw the club mate, they spewed unity while clearly dividing fans with the Unity group and hand picked representatives .
When this board took over they used fans groups and when they felt secure they discarded them for the Unity group who never really explained about their part in the SUOSC demise and their immediate phoenix moment.
As the the hand picked,by the club ,representatives.Pleaee let’s not take this seriously
