I’ve deliberately steered clear Cass,I’ve been on here too long ,got into too many scrapes and thought I’d be more of a hindrance than help .I still believe that.
I’d like t point out that this one instance only served to hasten a decision I’ve been thinking on for a year or so.It wasn’t the reason I left the trust ,merely a symptom

It’s worrying to seem backed into a corner here ,I don’t see how they get out of this mess.

You’d want at least 51% of the club if you stumped up a million, but she’s only just got slightly over 20%.

You might not want any part of the club you might just want to invest a million over five years to go towards running costs or boost the wage budget you don’t have to own anything you don’t want to.

Like most fans you mix invest up with giving

You don’t have to buy it,If people do it’s a few more quid. The club will have already stumped the cost of printing and they’re breaking the bank at £2.

” However, the Trust Board will consult with Trust members to determine what future actions the Trust should take to support the fundraising, ”
notice it’s not whether the Trust should take action but what actions they should take.

what a load of nonsense. This is a trust project to try and now claim otherwise is lying. The claim to fund raising being separated is flawed .as the money raised from the Garcia shirt was what they were relying on for the £500 donation .
I asked them to cancel my membership yesterday and remove me from the mailing list, I still received this self serving hindsight written backsliding .Memorial gardens take a lot of upkeep and will require lots of money and time. I guess instead of laying a wreath at “Keegan’s feet we can now do it at Keegan’s rhododendron.

His usual antics were his biggest downfall, especially the one when Pat Jones put a decent ball in and he just sat himself down rather than attack it. He’s a parody of himself nowadays

Well that’s cleared that up. According to the latest Trust News letter it was calls from Members requesting they set up a fund
Would that be Committee Members or ordinary Members ?

Not one person I spoke to today believes this explanation.

The Trust’s work on securing the stadium was very much based on good judgement as well as a lot of time. Even if you don’t agree with the current KK initiative (and I don’t), it doesn’t negate all the Trust’s achievements and work over the years.

Never had faith in it that’s why I never joined it.

The idea of it is good but in reality as done very little down the years, but the set up of it did allow them and only them to challenge selling of the ground by claiming but was a community asset. More luck than judgement.
One of the only positive things they actually did was pushing 10 years for a fan director only to let it then fold within a year what were they doing.

No Trust+ no community asset,= No Club today .It was that important

The share builder scheme was definitely put to members for views. I remember replying to say that I supported it.

It certainly was, I am still at a loss when it comes to understanding the club’s reaction to it

There was a point early in the 2nd half where they looked confused and all over the place ,has anyone found our midfield ?
Butler needs to improve ,if we’re going to play the same dull tactics as last two seasons we’d better win or he’s out
