Like saying he can drive a pedal car so can compete in F1
The biggest problem we have is our own fan who’ve normalised idiocy like Farage and co have normalised racism in their own minds,it’s exacerbated in big games by the Tourists who want to behave in the way they think fans do.One idiot last season was walking across the pitch with his young kid until he got booed off .Why can’t fans realise it’s not the 70s any more.
There’s dozens of stewards that need paying for because badly dressed chavs can’t behave .Policing costs a fortune too.Surely the “proof” is that Yeovil announced a signing of a player we’d had on loan all season, but we’ve said nothing about not re-signing him?
That’s not proof the club knew he was joining Yeovil,it’s proof he is joining Yeovil only
Do you think he went to the Iron and said I’m negotiating with Yeovil while he has an offer on the table?
You and other have “historically” accused them of it, that’s not proof they have anything to say.
How much money will that 17% increase bring in?
As ever SUFC seem to like to keep fans in the dark regarding any transfer and/or contract news.. Fan interaction is so much quicker when the begging bowl comes out.
What are they keeping you in the dark about? To make such comments you must know they have news, which in itself suggests they’re not keeping you in the dark.

Not too bothered about Roberts going,I’m glad we had him but think his one footedness and Whitehall’s statue impression were a bad combination.

Bit like Scunny nothing on their web page yet.
Why would Scunny have any of this on their site?
I hate the fashion that’s been around for ages.Black or grey tracky bottoms too tight, elasticated ankle and huge trainers. With a black or grey hoody top

It’s there to protect workers 1st and foremost,
I can tell you now the 200 yard taper and 200 yard safety feels very short when you’re working on these roads, fast travelling traffic getting over well before the final 200 yard plates is safer for those working, heavier traffic naturally slows and nobody wants an idiot crossing several lanes at the the the last minute .
It’s better to be behind a car for 800 yards than kill a roadworker.
Ps had a very scary time once when an ambulance with blues came through and an idiot swooped out of its way in front of our crash cushion while I was installing,Nearly hit me .It’s nice to allow emergency services through but remember that big lorry is protecting workers in the roadDrivers who run the taper at the last minute are a danger mind you,in well flowing traffic thinking ahead is easier
” off of”:
” spitting feathers( fevers)” when they mean ” spitting bullets”
“Mom”
” Goal involvements”Phones videoing gigs,we all like a momento photo of our nights out but why do some halfwits spend entire sections of gigs distracting other with their phones?
It’s hard to imagine that anyone could sign a manager so swiftly without knowing him before hand isn’t it?

I have several issues with the current board around fan engagement ,but I still hold them in high regard for rescuing us from this guy’s calamity

Good man,it’s good to get an insider view so to speak
I think it’s fine to seek and secure labour, materials and funds from fans during particularly difficult times, but it isn’t sustainable long term. Sponsorship is different of course as is contributing to gain a collective say in the running of the club in a fan owned model.
I have to disagree slightly, I’m all for it as it helps keeps GP looking good and keeps the cost base down .
Where I diverge from the model is the fact this this sort of philanthropy will easily surpass the actual investment by some of the directors and I don’t mean loans .I genuinely believe there’s a reason that the trust is being circumvented as their stated aim is basically a quid pro quo .Can’t blame the drum. The above aside I have found not scrutinising every move the club makes quite refreshing.I will gradually get off here too.
“Just a touch of flu that’s all”I am always right, I might go see me doctor about this .
Bloody good business to sign Ewing .
I guess it proves I’ve been doing my utmost to have my football intake nearly all at games I watch ,it’s more enjoyable I’ve found. Like turning back the clockI’ll put my glass of wine down
I thought Ewing was ?
Horton and Ewing are loans are they not? It’s in the list under “OPTIONS”
Not sure how much obvious it can beHow do we have an option on a loan player,is it to buy ?
Wasn’t the initial seeding OK but the aftercare package lacking?
Yes. They penny pinched and royally screwed up. Harness said in a statement recently that we’re spending money on updating irrigation system to improve the playing surface.
Also the upkeep of the ground is to be brought back in house again and we’re to employ a dedicated groundsman to tend to the pitch.
Appears they’ve learnt their lesson.
Better suppliers of turf being used. Proper pitch maintainence brought in house. Irrigation system update.
If we did get that grant, which seems to be the case…it appears it’s going to be spent wisely.
I can’t be doing with the pitch we’ve had the season just gone. Absolute disgrace at times. That was more fit for animals than it was football.
Are they using Turf ?
Post what you like, Deerey, most people are no longer buying into the lies.
Most?
