It’s desperate if you’re looking for it to be desperate. I suspect most non Iron fans, companies and potential investors couldn’t care less about it. If you want a bigger stake in how the club portrays itself, find some money and stick it in.

Hope he does well and can make the step up. Not all do, but he seems able enough.

Joke in closed stadiums isn’t it. Total Yankification to split the match in to quarters so the ‘dumb asses’ can relate to it and milking the refreshments purchases. The stupid countdown to kick off chant is tiresome aswell.

I think the criticism is less about an ‘I’m alright Jack’ attitude and more to do with your constant club bashing awaywego. Actively looking for things to moan about.

…and the Awaywego brain storm gradually subsided and all on the forum was calm again.

I think it’s called a ‘brain fart’ and he definitely left a big ‘un lingering

Sweden look very potent, particularly with Gyokeres and Isak up front. Could be the legitimate dark horse.

Rooney is the biggest dullard on the planet. Shit manager too, so his inclusion is always a mystery. Stephen Warnock talks out his arse. Lineker’s too busy raking it in on his ladfest The Rest is Football podcast on Netflix.

Conjures up great memories of a time and place and fairly innocent youth. Marvelous.

ITV have smashed the Beeb with their World Cup backdrop and setting. I’m more interested to see how the New Yoik traffic’s flowing behind Roy Keane as opposed to anything he’s saying. Fascinating.

Tattoos, why do people want to look Micky from a distance?

Not sure what looking Micky is and I don’t find tattoos annoying, just absolutely pointless, a waste of money and look daft in old age. Some look so bad they give me a decent laugh mind.

Only watched the first half but Morocco ran Brazil ragged. Only a touch of genius from Vinicius Jnr got them back on level terms. If England meet either of them in the later stages, I’d be more worried about Morocco

Second half wasn’t as good. Then as the game wore on both were taking less chances and looked to be settling for a draw. I wouldn’t want to either. Morocco were dynamic and Brazil can always conjure up a goal out of nothing

‘Cooler washes mean bacteria in the shirts aren’t killed, and reactivate within an hour of putting it on’

Sounding like an OMO advert. One for the older Brusters.

‘Not quite’ sounds like they expect it to be. Unlike a cheque that’s ‘not quite’ signed, and is completely useless.
