Well he got a big dent to his ego I suppose. Picking the positives out of this week would take some doing, the man must be gutted.
What with the EFL loan still at one million, no new player announcements till a sponsor is found ffs, 3 friendlies against tier 8,9 and 10 teams. A week well to put in the anals of history.
Just heard on the grapevine they’re going to let fans in the ground next week to watch the grass grow, at a charge may I add.

Nobody mentioning British Steel returning as the front of shirt sponsor. Surely that’s something rather positive to come out of this week?

The link with British Steel needs nurturing, now it’s been nationalised maybe we could squeeze a five year deal out of them next time.

Don’t think many people up and down the country will see BSC sponsoring us as a positive, even on Look North many people don’t like the fact that we the tax man are funding a loss of over 700,000 a day.
On this one I’m ok with it.
Wouldn’t like to think it was the other way round though.

PD needs to control his mouth. Nothing harmful here to others, but loses him credibility.

He’s never had any credibility, surely that comes with years of getting to see or know him in what sense we have of someone, ala John Staff or Jerry not some recent Johnny come lightly

John Staff was a giant as regards Scunthorpe United, PD is more a Borrower by comparison.
