The shareholder scheme: lol at the certificate and folder gimmick. Classic Dave:
It’s the ones who didn’t want or vote him in that I feel for Cliff. Like our guest on here for a year or so ago. Be good to hear from them again, if you read this.
Some player is Abdulmalik.

They know how to put their fans through the ringer. Didn’t think the equaliser was coming but it’s that guy again. Cult hero there for sure. BH looked totally gone by ET and pens. Glad Dale have done it. Mostly as it’s one less automatic promotion favourite.

Need to be KS1 or KS2 level. Might rule one or two out on here.
Quite right too.
Only thing I would add is that it seems a bit slack for the club just to repost Mahady’s X post with no comment, no ‘thanks for your service’ or nowt. Bit of gratitude doesn’t cost anything.

If we can accept a Codhead how about keeper Harvey Cartwright. Contract at Targers ends this month, been there 6 years and had several loans principally Cods & Hartlepool where he impressed. 23y.o and 6’4″
I wouldn’t bother suggesting keepers on here. I suggested Jake Eastwood at the start of the season…deemed not good enough by almost every poster on this site. Oh wait, he’s just won promotion from Cambridge in League 2 as their no.1 keeper.
Was it really ‘almost every poster’ or is that a mere exaggeration to try and emphasise your point and plug a ‘told you so’?
That’s probably correct Boycey – loan finished. He’s waving goodbye in photos he’s posted on X and shared by the club.
No further story triple I, unless you want there to be, though I assume the club have some idea about the keeper situation for next season if he’s not on loan again?
Not sure about Bunker but don’t mind Nolan. Is he available or on contract with Morecambe?
There’s talent in there and won’t forget his part in helping secure promotion from the devil’s armpit, but I don’t think he’s good enough yet for NL and bench warmers shouldn’t be high up on the transfer target list.

I’m not a ‘Butler disciple’ either; I’ve criticised him when I thought it was fair to, criticised some of the flak, and sometimes insults, he was getting if I thought it was unfair and unjustified. He’s not perfect by any stretch, and there’s areas of his style and communication I’d like to see develop, but I’m really not sure which other manager and coach around could have achieved what he’s done this season and last, so those who want to see him gone, be careful what you wish for, I reckon.
I’m also not convinced an over analytical motivational theory of the messaging post Southend resonates in the final analysis either. But hey ho, each to their own. SODIron’s insights about motivational messaging in the lead up to gaining a playoff spot did resonate with me. Just not so sure about the first section of this latest theory. But pretty much on board with the messaging for next season.
‘Isn’t Boyce retiring?’
Unless I’m mistaken, yes.
Grass might not be greener but the pay will be, and it’s a short career. Plus players can always step back down. Have to grab the opportunity to excel at a higher level when the chance comes.

I don’t think another striker will be coming in unless there’s injury or loan outs for either Whitehall or Howe. Just based on last season and Butler’s recent comments.

Carlisle will be right up there too I think
Players as Animals
It’s a final. Could go either way. They looked pretty potent from the last 10 mins of normal time and ET but club that are ‘too big for this league’ were down to 10 men. My head says Dale will have too much for them and be determined to see their injustice at not being promoted automatically with all their points righted but yesterday proved they are prone to the wobble and bottle. Hopefully an entertainment final and good viewing.
Butler said he didn’t need Sharp as he’s got Howe and Whitehall. So perhaps no strikers incoming?
If they get promoted or not surely he’d have to take a wage drop to come to us? More chance of pigs flying I reckon.
Please not JB at RB ever again. CB, maybe. I’d still worry about his ability to turn and track nippy forwards though. Seems to accelerate well going forward but not defending so well.

Roberts all but said the other day on Humberside he’d probably be leaving if we didn’t secure promotion. Time for him to step up a division or two.

We don’t have a partnership with a premier league club either. Another difference.
Do you think it might have been different if Whitehall hadn’t gone off injured awaywego? We looked shell shocked after the early goal but after Whitehall went off we looked bereft.
I concur.
‘NINETEEN points dropped after the 88th minute?’
Agreed it’s a shocking statistic. Not convinced it’s more Butler’s fault than the defenders though tbh.
Clear to see in today’s match and the Dale V York match last week that they have better players. I don’t like undermining our own players but it’s the truth, as far as I see it.
Would Butler have done better this season with a budget comparable to York and Dale? I think so. I’d wager fans of those two clubs have criticised their managers over the season. But they had a better player budget and their superior quality trumped every other team in the end.
Evans just saying on Humberside he’s hoping to sign this week.

I was expecting a cracking end to end game but you cannot expect to turn up for the last 10 minutes and think you can win a game I’m afraid we looked very poor today a game to far, promotion next season? UTI
Promotion? Not convinced unless there’s serious investment from somewhere. How we replacing Roberts? Not sure we can tbh.
