Where are all the interested parties you promised would be there once he officially put the club up for sale Alcy? That was always my concern that they’d be no one else to come in. Better hope that Swanny sticks around.

First off, that was way back when we were a viable proposition, before Swann’s business acumen put us firmly in the brown and smelly place we now inhabit.
Secondly, before prospective buyers appear, the club needs to be PROPERLY PUT UP FOR SALE.

Which is, if you look back, what I’ve always said.
I’d be more than shocked if someone knocked on my door asking to buy my house, but if I put estate agents boards up offering it for sale, I’ll be surprised if no-one comes.

The whole sale thing has been a debacle, handled about as well as we should expect from Swann.

Alcy can’t help it, he’s in the old bitter man phase of his life, unfortunately he’s in it till he carks.

Which, given how rotten my life currently is, hopefully won’t be long.

Still on course for another relegation, though.

Not if you base our future performance on the form of the last 5 games we’re not.

We can all make statistics say what we want.

If we do perform well and survive will it make you happy?

Yes it will… but I’ll be MUCH happier when the odious Swanns move on.

I agree with your take on statistics.
There’s lies, damned lies and then there’s statistics.

Not sure who said it, but he was spot on.

I take no pleasure in seeing misguided optimism.
Nor do I take pleasure in others misfortunes.
    I do call out silliness.
And I dont think our present unbeaten run is owt special.
Perhaps when we’re no longer in the relegation places?

That assumes the manager knows what he’s doing.
History says our last five or six didn’t/don’t.

I reckon it was a deflection like the times we were told about new stands etc under Steve Wharton.
Back of a fag packet design that most knew would never be built, but it stopped us talking about directors who contributed nothing but took plenty, or the latest player sold quickly and far too cheap.

As for Swann, if he told me today was Wednesday, I’d have to check.

Alcazar, didn’t you stop going to games ages ago?
Am only asking as your comment seems a bit ironic that you want a club that brings lots of fans, yet you don’t even go yourself!

Yes, I won’t go again until the odious Swann family have PROPERLY severed all ties.

But why would it stop me wanting the club to make money🙄?

Nothing to do with crap humour or being ‘snowflakes’ (just a poor excuse to mock people who call you out). As for England players:

During the summer, England’s Beth Mead said the issue had been raised as soon as the new Lionesses kit was unveiled for the European Championship.

“It’s something we’ve fed back to Nike,” said Mead. “Hopefully they’re going to change that [the colour]. It’s very nice to have an all-white kit but sometimes it’s not practical when it’s the time of the month.”

Hang on…I thought those things with wings guaranteed no leaks?

    Won’t matter.
We are “first round out” specialists.

So we might as well get someone who’ll bring fans for the income.

Been like this for some time.
Football results used to be listed in order of importance.
We are now below women’s football🙁

LOL, we were well expected to win today.
They were rock bottom and shipped 6 last week.
Then we’re 1 down after four minutes.
Unless we learn to defend, and to concentrate, were going down again.

On target for a total of 37 points.
With four to go down, it won’t be enough.🙁

Seems odd letting him go just before were due to play them I would have thought they would drag it out another week so he can’t play against us.

Doesn’t that assume either that those running the club know what they are doing…or actually care?

Not being funny but I didn’t spend money on a season ticket to see one of our best players leave not even halfway through the season to a club a few places above.

    Absolute shambles.

Some of us did try to warn you.🙂

    “Vanilla” Southgate.
Said it three years ago… wasting the best crop of young players we’ve had for a while.
Look at the England Lionesses: they dont muck about doing tippy tappy triangles in their own half, nor do they stop attacking even 5-0 up, let alone 1-0.
