It’s the right decision, but he could have found any number of other ways of responding in a more professional way.
Butler?
Seriously doubt it.1 user thanked author for this post.
Is there a link?
Yes, Sharp used to play for us.
Ah, you’ve not lost it Deerey.
🙄🙄🙄Is there a link?
Just spoken to the lad while queueing for my playoff ticket.
He says he’s fine.
Michelle came out to thank us for our support too.
Large queue.
Season ticket holders, one person s.t., not on General sale until tomorrow.^^^^^
This.
100%Fans, why the adage “far” tagged onto “right”?
Is your mate Stasi Starmer left, or far left?
And where’s that leave Jeremy?
Are you aware of how much France gives the so-called asylum seekers?
Does that make Macron far right😂😂It might simply be better preparation for the coming season.
If our players are prepared better and are fitter that would lead to a positive start.
That can erode during the season as players in other teams catch up.
We’re not talking about premier league players or back room staff here.
Small margins. The same happened last season, we started like a train but other teams seemed to improve.Or, conversely, we went off…when “someone” started meddling.
…. and when all you have is lazy Whitehall the ball comes right back at you quickly as nothing sticks and that puts our NLN defence under pressure from better players than they had to deal with last season .
Have to disagree on Whitehall.
In the matches I’ve watched, (about 2/3 of home games), it seems that once Butler takes him off, that’s when the ball starts coming straight back at us and puts us under pressure.
And the timing of goals conceded would seem to bear this out.1 user thanked author for this post.
Awful goal conceded.
Lovely goal to make our comeback.Yes, he was.
People were almost being nice to each other….. 1500Club back next ole ole
You know me Deerey, I’ll tell it like it is.
Making you a moderator on here has improved your ego I see.

Let’s hope their directors have more bottle than our shower of freeloaders had when we did it.

Danny Whitehall.
When he’s not on the pitch we struggle to keep the ball up front, with it coming straight back more often than not.Flak on the Facebook group too much for you? Not so bad on Bru you’ve decided to return? Bravo.
Permanent ban off Facebook, reported one too many scams, apparently.
Bit like you, Deerey, don’t like the truth. Are the officials any better in EFL?
😂😂😂😂
Whether it’s down to his pre match intake of alcohol or he’s just a nasty person it’s time he addressed his anger issues.
This is so presumptuous as to be laughable.
We definitely wont be donating to this Pound for a Pitch malarkey. In fact we find the whole begging thing quite embarrassing as Scunthotpe United supporters, particularly seeing one of our owners on the begging page with Dave and co. As previously said directors come in and enjoy the matchday experience and hospitality, but then still expect all the money back which they put in if and when they decide to leave. We supporters who can afford to are happy to buy season tickets, and if not matchday tickets, and also spend money at the catering points and bars. But we feel this is a step too far and if the current board cant even budget for the pitch with gates of over 5000 then new investors should be looked for. When do we supporters get free hospitality meals and drinks included in our matchday experience?
In our opinion the bad state of the pitch has to be the responsibility of the owners as they make the decisions as to who to employ to lay and maintain it, and should not expect supporters to fund it.Hmmmm.
Back to the bad old days of Wharton’s “freeloaders”???Well, well, well. 64
Did try and warn you, on here, about Stasi Starmer, three years ago.
You deleted my post.
Changed your mind?
Are you actually surprised at him, given he trained in Hungary during their Communist times?
I expect you to delete this too.
😂😂😂Buyers?
Consortium??Do you still believe in Father Christmas too?

Adam Hammill left over two years ago.
You haven’t been for a long while have you?
Did he mean Hallam?
That’ll be me and Awaywego you’re getting at then, Alcy.
Sorry for attending the game and boring those who don’t go any more.
But hey! This is a fans forum after all. And yes, the football was nothing to get excited about.
What are your expectations for Southend?
Not getting at anyone, and not bored.
Just disappointed.
I’d really have expected more anger.
But no, Swanny has won.
We now expect so little that even s total disaster passes by with hardly a raised eyebrow.
The Cods gave Fenty a much harder time.
But on here we have windy moderators who prefer to post anti-tory drivel in non-football, then delete a post calling him out.🙄🙄🙄2 users thanked author for this post.
Just stop going, like I have.
After a while it doesn’t matter as much.3 users thanked author for this post.
Said it at the beginning of the season.
We are going down again.1 user thanked author for this post.
In a normally run club the youth team coach who has barely brought a single decent player through in the entire decade or so he has been here wouldn’t be put in the first team management role, he would have been binned a long time go. As soon as the new owners come in they need to get rid of every single person involved in the football aspect of the club.
As soon as the new owners come in….
Muahahahahahahahahahahaha.
WHAT new owners????7 users thanked author for this post.
As unlucky Alf would say, “Doooh b*gger”.
One word answer:
No.The second goal conceded was the one which troubled me regarding Dewhurst.
I’ve looked at both second and third of their goals.
Turned the screen for a better look, rubbed my eyes and looked again.
Nope.
Still looks remarkably like a keeper pretending to try and save.Any three from eight.
We’re nailed on certainties. One of the most effective defenders we ever had.
Shame he couldn’t control his self. It’s a train coming.
Train wreck ahead. -
