Just need a couple of signings that don’t pass sideways and know where the goal is.
Wasn’t this area that needed improvement?
Need to be more than ok to get out of this league!
Yep Okay doesn’t cut it in my book. Means not good enough.
As it stands we have an okay line up. Unfortunately the bucket of pickings is slim
Jordan Richards from Boston. Any good?
& Ross Barrows re signed for another season.
Think signings seem to be the hot topic atm rather than the new kit. But will be soon on the agenda when boredom rev.10 kicks in.
The material/quality of the shirts has been poor for sometime. I’d never purchase.
Looks like the bogroll you’d get years back in OSG
Remember someone stating it’s the John Wayne of Bogroll. Rough, tough and don’t take no shit off anyone.Adidas too steep is it?
TJO nice to cut to the chase with your update.
Extra income from the pitch? Surely that’s gonna be peanuts in the grand scheme of things.
Nice that they are putting things on in the summer gala etc but doubt that will be bringing in much coppers to the pot.Should keep the low season ticket prices throughout the summer and not just till end of May.
So the 20% increase in player budget guess this will just add to the loan
Not sure where the CODs are getting information about our ticket sales from as we cannot find out ourselves about them, probably more close season bullshit I’m guessing, who knows who cares what codheads think anyway.
Cods really do have a soft spot for us.
Did think about buying our first season tickets but decided against. Will just rock up when it suits.
That’s the kinda feedback I get in life whether it’s the Iron or whatever.Yep they come and go and always will. Just need deeper pockets to get out of this league
I’d say another couple of midfielders with only sideways passing abilities will be through the door soon enough.
Alfie wasn’t fancied so he will continue to warm the bench.
AB will get tapped up by Rochdale now JM has left?
Wonder if some will regret buying their season tickets.
Always makes me wonder getting lured in then for the players to move on.
I will wait to buy mine if at all.Obviously we wait for the exciting news of the new signings that will whet the appetite.
Must be imminent?

He’s gone.
The old chestnut the current board have done a marvellous job in turning the club round and this new pitch funded by an efl grant is a master stroke but they ain’t got any serious money between them and that is a big problem in driving our club forward IMO.
Totally agree, we need some fresh/large investment to get us back in the league.
Re Westbrooke I’m not too bothered. He was for sure an upgrade on Clunan but still a sideways passer of the ball.
Yep well done Hull City deserved after the shenanigans this last week.
Stiffled Boro and got the winning ticket.
They are light years ahead of us when once we shared the same league.
Saying that they are apparently 40 odd mill in the red.
Hopefully they can clear that today and invest wisely.
Up the Targers, 5&9 and a shit load of red wine or maybe a dry white wine
Was awaiting a post re this subject.
Don’t recognise majority of them and very desperate taking Henderson
Ahh well another reason to not tune in
There is a Cod

Yeah actually watering it when necessary

Jones was as good as it got this season. Was hoping we’d start a fresh nest season. Campbell ain’t good enough.
If these two sign that means that’s one position sorted. Not happy with this tbh.
Not bothered about the ones released. Not good enough.

A surface that resembles a football pitch rather than skeggy beach.
A midfielder that knows more than a sideways pass.
A defender that has a turn of pace quicker than a striking snail.
A winger that can actually cross
And players that want to get on the scoresheet
That’s asking far too much for the NL league
I liked Fadera. The lad has a certain something.
No thanks, not good enough at York and wasn’t that great.

Anyone from Scunthorpe made a shed load of Money like the Ogden family at Rochdale?
Not so sure roaming bull.
I don’t think the league will be as strong next season.
I think it will be equally as difficult as this time around.
Carlisle will be smarting.
Forest Green probably spend well
Southend & Harrogate will be in the mix.
And Rochdale or BW will be still in the league. It’s going to be difficult to better this season tbh.
Playoffs again at the very best.
Think Butler will be scrutinised more next season because anything less than a playoff and it will be a failure. We don’t have the extra finance just to up the ante like York or Rochdale to claim the automatic place.
Any update on the 2 automatic and 1 via playoff?

JB as you say ain’t a right back as he was out of position on both goals. Saying that he got no players tracking back his side to cover/help.
Defensively we look very weak especially against quick wingers/strikers.
Midfield didn’t get a grip of anything yesterday neither. Ewing won’t be a miss.
I’m doubting Roberts if he does go to a league team too.Rochdale were better but didn’t need to be too great to beat us yesterday. We looked 5 yards off the pace. Maybe Tuesday took its toll.
York would have murdered us on yesterday’s showing.

Weighing in with so many goals this last two seasons Roberts will be missed in that aspect. But for me seeing him lately bar the goals he hasn’t done enough to help the team out.
Maybe because he’s injured but rarely tracks back and helps out/gets stuck in.Hopefully we can find someone else to score because we really struggle to create too much.
I didn’t think Rochdale were that great. Didn’t need to be tbh.
Defensively we are so slow, every time they broke down the left side we were wide open. Someone tracking back would have helped !We’d have snapped someone’s hand off if they offered us semi final play off place at the start of the season.
For me today showed not how great the opposition were but how poor we looked. This constant lumping it forward even after DW went off showed this. The ball needing bringing down and played on the floor and strengths on what we had on offer.Early goal killed the atmosphere for us.
Think it’s going to be a very difficult to match this season next season.
AB has some work to do in the summer. He will be really judged next season in which could be more difficult. Not a great watch at all. Defensively we were awful.
Midfield didn’t really take any control and we just continually wanted it lumped forward.Didn’t think Rochdale looked that great neither, just we were mediocre at best.

Great performance and thought we controlled it with relative ease.
Evans could have played that kinda game all night.Stalwart
Rest played their part excellently.Roberts should have asked to go off early 2nd half as he brought nothing to the half. Great finish
Thought Pat Jones was quiet first half down our side but from
What I could see 2nd half he looked pretty good. What’s the allocation at Rochdale?
Hail Who?
It’s Scunthorpe United not Real
Madrid. If some think they are special in the eyes of whomever let them crack on.
Always makes me laugh how some love to strut around thinking theyre it and pretend to know inside info or knowing the inside leg of groundsman trousers.
Or they want to know.
Why?Let’s just stick to how great or how shit weve played. It’s football.
Not a talent contest.Jeez who’s the RH commentator?
Talk a glass eye to sleep!
Com’on chap let’s have a bit of enthusiasmMight as well let Torpey do the full commentary!!

7 goals against in 120mins of play.
Maybe we needed a new defender than anyone in the forward line.
Game off
Not a good start to the NY
