Going on our recent signings I almost expected John Gale returning.

    Quarterly Communications?

Wouldn’t suit those fans who require instant gratification!

If Burnham is a turd then Farage is a whole sewage farm.

I know who I’d rather have.

    Of course you do.
    Are you actually a Communist?

If that’s the choice then I’d rather be a Communist than a Fascist. I’ve got a cap with a red star on anyway!

But like BPG you struggle with the difference between communism and socialism.

Might add a bit of attacking nous to the coaching.

So what’s the deal with the knockout stages?

Are we predicting the score at 90 mins or 120 mins?

Some may say that about The Beatles of course but they are either tone deaf or aliens.

    “NI phone home!”

Sorry Deerey but can’t stand them. Couldn’t sixty years ago and still can’t.

I guess it’s all part of life’s rich tapestry. I can’t believe there are people out there who don’t like The Fall.

I feel sorry for Tennants Brewery. Expected sales will be well down for the rest of the summer.

England remind me of recent Iron squads. Four players that have to start, with the rest a mix and match hotch-potch of mediocrity.

Other than signing Jude Bellingham or Messi anyone was going to be a downgrade on Roberts. So that was a bullet we knew we had to bite.

Not too worried about the other signings and there will be the inevitable trialists and loans.

Worst comes to the worst put an ad on social media, “Anyone fancy a game of football on Saturday? Contact Andy on 01724 6…….”!

I”m afraid that whilst the club remains in this dreadful limbo, halfway between the EFL and amateur leagues, this will become the norm.

I don’t think we’re light up front. What we lack is attacking intent from midfield.

But that’s as much a tactical/coaching thing as it is a personnel one.

Thing is that I now find myself involuntarily saying “can I get” in restaurants. I hate myself for it, but there you go!

Doesn’t happen in the pub though, “pint of IPA* please” doesn’t seem to lend itself to such corruption.

    *Other beers are available.

Well annoyed this morning trying to find contact details (phone numbers or email) for a well known company. Nowhere to be seen on the website or my documentation.

After trawling through the online FAQ’s and suffering the agony of a “chat” with the friendly helpline bot. I gave up and tried googling the company and checking for UK based phone numbers.

Took a while but I finally found one. Full of trepidation of course expecting there to be another bot on the other end telling me to go to the website and check out the FAQ’s, but guess what? A human answered and sorted out my problem in a few minutes!

An hour out of the sunny day wasted though, and of course there was a price to pay as her final words where “you’ll be receiving a feedback questionnaire on this number shortly. We’d be really grateful if you could complete it”.

    Interesting.
Being as quite a few Liebour shadow ministers made it clear that Sunak shouldn’t have taken over from BoJo without a general election, what will be their position now?
Oh, sorry, I forgot Liebour’s motto:
    Do as we say,
    Not as we do.

He didn’t. there was this whacky woman in between.

However, as strange as it may seem I tend to agree ( bloody hell!).

But then again I think it’s a crying shame that Starmer has been forced to stand down. At the end of the day it’s the same party so the same policies should prevail.

But as we have seen in the World Cup tonight, the public aren’t bothered about teamwork all they want is celebrity.

Oh, and “ Do as we say, Not as we do” was how my late father used to describe Thatcherism back in the 80s. So not really a Labour motto at all.

Nagh by the Liverpool shirts around town Liverpool to my dismay are the biggest big team in Scunny.

It’s a generational thing. For kids that grew up in the 80s it was Liverpool. The 90s Man Utd. When I was at school it was Leeds.

Still remember Botham’s benefit match in 1984. That was decent entertainment if I remember correctly (which I often don’t)!

Hey, we had a Marina when we got married. It had been Mrs NI’s father’s so it had been lovingly cared for previously.

Needless to say by the time we got rid it had turned to rust!

Changed it for a shiny new red XR3. Enjoyed that one until we had the kids and had to go practical.
