First match of the season 1971/72 at Blunder Park was an eventful day,Awaywego!
Roberts nagh, Keegan nagh, Keegan at Liverpool I would imagine so.
Got to have put the years in or score some important goal, Byrne and Garcia did both.
Kevin van Veen for his goal at Grimsby the only time in my 58 years of watching we won at their place.
Goalies, Barnard and Murphy deserve to be there imo. Also, did anyone go to Blunder Park when we “tonked”the Mariners 3-1 with David Sloan scoring a hat-trick in 1966( i won’t mention the match I went to the following season in 1966!!)

…just think ,if Callum Roberts had been fit for the full season when Jimmy was in charge, the history of our club probably would have had a completely different outcome?

I always think of you walking down the road, singing “ what we need is a great big melting pot” by Blue Mink. Oh, followed by singing,”imagine no possessions,I wonder if you can,no need for greed or hunger,a brotherhood of man” .Utopia is just around the corner without God,eh Woolfie?

Chester away (after the downpour) was a memorable pitch celebration!
Marxism has never worked ,Gurnelista, just look at the chaos and misery in the 20th Century and up to today.Your worldview is flawed. The only way forward is belief in the teachings of our Creator in the Holy Bible, which when followed leads to Peace with Him and happiness in all that entails from it.
Maybe only the old timers will remember the insane attacks on Brian Laws and trying to bring him down at every opportunity. This led to my “ nearly 400 home league goals in 10 glorious years.countless famous F A Cup runs and thrills and spills that were the envy of every small club in the country” quotes, which were the truth and hated by some on here. But hey, things never change ,do they?

Think finishing 4th is vital in our play- off chances.

It is this video I want you to refute, not me.
Look at the video and give me the points where it misrepresents evolution. I wait for an intelligent reply that destroys the thesis presented.
I think the problem was when we changed from a fish into a human?
Not one word about Christianity,Deerey, what’s your problem?
Most Muslims are peaceful souls,agreed,but….. https://youtu.be/_Z_RAbOJcu0?si=P4l6KyXbS64CEqPb

If we get to the play-off final at Wembley,a fully fit Callum Roberts on one wing and Pat Jones on the other is a mouth watering prospect.
I was speaking to Shep the other day, sadly he is not a well man. “Dinky-do it’s number two “ was his famous catchphrase!

Please accept my apology saleiron, you are right. John Radford played in the match not Ray Kennedy- over time I always associated them as a partnership! Thanks for correcting me.

Got “crushed”in the Donny Road End ,game a bit of an anti-climax after the memorable game at St James Park drawing 1-1. ( fighting and arrests included in the price!)Malcolm McDonald up front for them.13,300 attendance https://youtu.be/c3X8VZ60K-4?si=XklbydNK_5nt1YCo
We don’t have to be an “Einstein” to understand your political position .
I openly declare I am a “born again” Christian ,therefore receive hostility from non- believers ( not neutrality). You have an agenda which is Marxist in its worldview. Correct me if I’m wrong.racist groups? You don’t seem to have any problem with openly racist groups who chant “from the river to the sea” ,do you saleiron?
How come over the years you have been on here, saleiron, you have never posted comments about adolescent schoolyard “ humour”etc at football matches or commented on non-football about Glastonbury, and other mass gatherings with offensive “ from the rivers to the sea” chants and the like? You seem to have your own personal agenda, it seems.
