Fejiri Okenabirhie has played at a lot higher level, his goals on YouTube ( agreed a few years ago) show a player who could be a good fit for us.
Thought you had looked back to your comments made about Ivan Toney when he first arrived at the club,WonderGoals!
Let’s hope Andy Butler doesn’t keep playing him in midfield, like he did at Southend!

Your gloating is hard to bear,Rene.

I wouldn’t have picked Ross Barrows on Saturday, but I knew as lots on here know,he would give 100% as Cliff Byrne use to do and not let the side down.
Looking at past “whipping boys”, Jim Goodwin was one,Cliff Byrne was not good enough for some fans, but Paul “ Lazey Hazey” Hayes must be up there as the most embarrassing whipping boy episode I have experienced, made me cringe at the bile unleashed on one of our best in recent memory. Now for some, Ross Barrows is howled at every time a pass goes astray, things never change .

“ Start scoring Danny and shut up the moaners.” It probably would, but looking at Whitehall and Gale on Saturday the difference in determination and effort was clear to see.
No,that statement is not true,Siderite.
Totally agree, these drunken animals seem to be appearing all over the country. A ban on alcohol is the solution?
Your love for Scunthorpe United shines through in your posts,RoamingBull.
That’s nothing, twelve of us use to live in a cardboard box,we had to look out of a cutout in the side and pretend it was a tv. You’ve never lived. When the sun came up our dad would call us to show us the colour tv.
Knowing your cynicism I doubt he will blow your mind, but lots will enjoy his talent this season.
The main thing you need to know about the game is PAT JONES was the Starman.

Most Scunny fans will see 6, most on IronBru will see 3.

My Dad went to see Scunthorpe reserves against Grimsby reserves at the Old Show Ground one night . He came home and told me Scunny won 5-4 and Keegan had scored 4. He said ,this lad is going to be a superstar and his prediction was correct.
Jordan Richards impressed second- half.

Took the time to watch most of his goals from last season, if he hits the ground running,we have signed a true gem.

Lysaughts Sports pencilled in somewhere down the line?
Looking back at the records the 2-2 match was 1995,my mistake saying 1994.
Did anyone go to the F A Cup match in 1975,when we lost 2-1 and Alan O’Meara ( our young goalkeeper made a howler for their winner late on)I remember going in 1994,when Preston had an artificial pitch,Preston scored last minute in the 2-2 draw.

Hopefully we’ll find some the underperforming players from last season will show their true worth on a decent pitch.
As expected the question is not answered.
Does anyone think things will get better now Starmer has gone?
What do you find objectionable to this sentence,Deerey? On reflection I used the word “nicely” in a sarcastic way and posting again I would have omitted that word.
What you are alluding to is agreement with the opening post.
….oh man of little faith.
Kevin Kilmore.

First match of the season 1971/72 at Blunder Park was an eventful day,Awaywego!

Roberts nagh, Keegan nagh, Keegan at Liverpool I would imagine so.
Got to have put the years in or score some important goal, Byrne and Garcia did both.
Kevin van Veen for his goal at Grimsby the only time in my 58 years of watching we won at their place.
Goalies, Barnard and Murphy deserve to be there imo. Also, did anyone go to Blunder Park when we “tonked”the Mariners 3-1 with David Sloan scoring a hat-trick in 1966( i won’t mention the match I went to the following season in 1966!!)
