They still don’t wear the stickers.
Many of said stickers replaced the far left stickers on the tubes, saying stop bombing Palestine, wording over the Hezbollah flag.
The tube looked a lot better for it.

Now your making that up 64, Farage is a right wing politician no more no less, and fans aren’t wearing his stickers either.

Couldn’t create an atmosphere at Gateshead if the London philharmonic played there let alone a lone drummer.
Hopefully they know when to try and create an atmosphere and when it’s a lost cause, don’t want to be like Johnny foreigner teams who keep singing even when they’re 3/4/5 nil down.
Saw an article where said above criticised English fans support, they really have no idea.
Ps, they aren’t that far right they only support Farage, not that any of them could vote mind unless Starmer gives 16yr olds the vote.

Read the small print ** evidently you only get both journeys refunded if you buy a return ticket, a thing that sadly Lner don’t sell! You couldn’t make it up.
No consolation whatsoever Deerey not interested in getting money back, it’s the day out that was ruined, Ryan the drummer was coming with us he was getting on our train at Newark, but in the end once all the parked trains started one by one to move we told him to get on the first one he could,we had know idea wether we’d make it on time but knew he could. it’s all about going and meeting friends not money. And like I said some friends turned round at Donny and they’ll get nothing back from their match ticket.
Sure everyone who went or by other means took the game in would have noticed the total lack of atmosphere yesterday, wasn’t really bothered either way about the drum till yesterday but when it’s not there and the atmosphere it creates I must admit it was sadly missing no matter how hard the youth tried to create some.
I remarked to my son at one point you could here a pin drop it was that quite.

Ps, we all get a full refund for both journeys, but would rather the trains just run to time.

Bit of a nothing game, a poor first half their big lad got through twice but one good save and one good tackle kept us in it.
Second half we were dominating but only creating half chances, should have cleared twice for their goal, subs seemed to knock us back again but fair play they returned to the task, Danny being Danny fouled their player to get in on goal but unselfishly passed to Howe no doubt 64 won’t have liked that one but, nice he was still on the pitch to be able to do so for a change.
Nightmare journey down trains delayed we sat in Retford for 2 hours 2hrs 50 delay in total got in the ground just as they kicked off.
Quite a few turned round at Donny and just came home. Turning into a third world country just total chaos on the way home just jump on any train everyone told.
Still in our own hands whether we play at home.
Sadly best part of the day was watching the York Rochdale saga on grandsons phone, massive celebrations when Rochdale equalised, and seeing York players pumping it up in the centre circle then had the stuffing knocked out of them, twists and turns that make it the game we love so much.

Ackys back in the day was still prohibited land, the gamekeeper was always chasing us off.
Tried his hardest to keep the grass in good condition, he used to hang the moles he caught on the fence separating ackys from lysaghts work playing fields (foxhills club) what a grisly site on gala day.

The easy answer SS is to close all the other supporter groups and just everyone join Bru, you know it makes sense!
Anonymity, so no look at me types, no committees, no fund raising except in extenuating circumstances.
Just a forum where you can sound off to your hearts content on anything and everything with a footy or sufc related content however in the slightest bruers decide is applicable.

Last season the same final was played on our ground in-between our home playoff games.

    Still nothing to see.

The semis were played on the 1st of March the final on 12th of April.
That was a long enough wait as it was.
Nothing to see, and in this case the club just helping out the county association, to be fair nice to be asked with the state it’s been in.

Would appear no one wants the job that’s the 2nd or 3rd advert for the job, and they keep moving the application date.
Either that or they’re not offering enough money for the role.
Just chuck some grass seeds on can hardly end up being any worse than the last 2 seasons efforts.

We’ll get no where near a full house, and unless Saturday’s result gives us a guaranteed home draw season ticket holders will only be given 24hrs to buy with there guaranteed seat, there’s no time to do anything else.
Twill be one big kick in the goolies for fans and one big bollocks from Butler if we end up playing away with little time to arrange travel not like there going to be local derby games
If we do get the home draw, the away following will be very sparse to say the least, so they’ll be more than plenty of seats free for our fans use, probably beyond the club to have the foresight to use them mind.
I take it your referring to PD and Stu about not being able to get a ticket again.lol.

And I predict that Southend wont want to let that 7th place go.
Not if they have the fans interests at heart anyway, and unless Scunny overhaul Boreham wood.
Chance to rest their players with no detriment to them, unlike when Butler rested ours, 5th place for us is certainly not a given.

    Without starting another thread.
Beware, you bet fans will have to be beware, the new replacements for the brick walls that York city have had just led to the ban of 50+ York fans.
Celebrating a last minute winner fans going ape shit the new structure collapses no pitch encroachment no nothing really just a ban for celebrating.
Not from the club may I add, just down to ground rules.
Suppose that’s the kind of barrier Scunny will be looking at for our wall replacement.
Obviously 64 will have no sympathy he believes everyone should just sit there and shout hooray with no emotion mind.

Fans that seems fair enough. An Uber fan craving attention and one that promotes himself by handing out mugs he’s had specifically made, now that’s something else.
And from what you say will dump us when a certain player moves on.
Nothing sinister but not warranted either, unless you want to make your play of why it is.

Of course the unity group ruffled feathers, they said originally money was going to the club, it then turned out money was going to Xmas parties and subsidizing away travel. It was the lack of transparency many on here didn’t and wouldn’t put up with.
The head honcho at the time Stu had his own blog that lectured down to fellow fans, and the one on Hilton didn’t land well at all.
Real Evidence on PD, has he not just turned up on the scene then, has he not just started supporting Scunny. Is that not worthy of not trusting someone. Do you not think his previous club fans won’t trust him now.
So scrutiny yes, jealousy well you’ll have to tell us what we’re jealous about.
On the funds the unity group and PD are involved in pounds for the pitch, not a shareholder not that it’s anything do with at a shareholders meeting anyway.
Transparency what don’t you get about a bit of transparency.

That was the premise of the thread AB feeding PDs ego what do want us to comment on AB brought it up not us.
Do you just want us to listen and not have an opinion.
I don’t trust PD one little bit I just don’t buy it that a 60 ish year old bloke all of a sudden starts to support Scunny, imo genuine footy fans don’t just start supporting a team or switch allegiances whatever it is in his case. Am I not allowed that opinion on him based on what I’ve read.
And if one did why not just support like everyone else does without all the look at me and mi mugs persona bullshit, and of course not forgetting who he’s met.
On the raising of funds we’re still waiting for a breakdown on the funds raised for pounds for the pitch, how much as been given to Scunthorpe United’s separate account the same for the unity groups separate account.
And talking of supporters clubs what happened to the funds from the old supporters club which just seemed to morph into the unity group do not fans have a right to know.

I were telling you all season we were bottling it, you were the one backing his results as good ones, telling us that the draw at Boston was a good point (you still tell us this season)when for those who went it really really wasn’t we bottled it.
Funnily enough if we held on for the win there Boston wouldn’t have made the playoffs.
We were shite in the playoff game no doubt, they were dead on their feet in extra time and we didn’t push on to win more scared to lose.
But it still just came down to one penalty miss why we didn’t progress they didn’t deserve to win anymore than we did.

Your as bad as Butler Steve. Don’t like it don’t go.
NWI as an opinion maybe not mine or yours but he’s entitled to his.
You’ll find on here that we very very hardly ever all clap on the same thread, our diversity is what makes our forum.
We’re certainly not like the Facebook group drooling over each other all the time the love is nauseating over there. And especially from a certain person who’s persona is to be positive all the time, how can you be positive all the time without being false.

Just shows how fickle owners are sacking him on the back of one penalty miss.
Very lucky he wasn’t sacked after the Marine game firstly for the football and the poor run we was on, (did say at the time not sure whether any board members were there to witness it)and then for the interview.
Hopefully for him it was that Mark Robins moment that helped save Fergie from the sack.
    I’ll take another lucky manager.

As much as we didn’t want him in the end, and Ironawe you stayed loyal to him longer than I did.
To say he was out of his depth is probably a bit harsh the noise he had to put up with that season was extraordinary In any circumstances, did very well to keep the team going imo.
Twas his football style that did for me in the end.
Plus the final straw having fans travel up to Darlo some for the third time and then putting in an abject performance in. (Butler’s as underseen more of those abject games than Jimmy did)
Butler though, he got us promotion and that trumps it for him over Jimmy even if a was a shite season football wise.
Promotion was everything however it came.

Jimmy didn’t say he couldn’t work with a smaller budget, the club wanted a smaller budget and Butler was the cheaper option.
Was on his coaching salary from the may till the October when he was offered a contract, well that’s what we were told by Michelle whether you believe it or not that’s the question.
