Can’t really blame Trump for the USA holding the tournament it was awarded in 2018, now you can blame the swiss wop who sucks up to all and sundry. (Trump was president when t was given)
The equivalent to our Positive Dave giving away his little trinkets and taking every opportunity to have his photo shoot.

Don’t think it should be about putting them in the shade, they do good for what they do, if they just don’t try and over egg everything, it would seem good imo.

I’ll encourage the club to concentrate on the higher end fundraising £13,000 for one nights toffs do ain’t to be sniffed at.
All the tuther begging shite should be well left alone by the club and makes the club look embarrassing, thegofundme page only raised £315 from individuals, twould be nice of the organisers club, unity group, PD to let us know the final total and then close it down.
Nice to know that at least one persons got on board with the signings sponsor that’s you I take HLC.
Me I hope they don’t get one and keep us all in the dark on signings till August the 8th lol.

See Barrow are the first ones out of the blocks to say they aren’t entering the national league cup competition, going to concentrate on the league and the normal cup competition’s.
Eastleigh aren’t either though they didn’t last year either, their take on it is like most fans not needed, and you really need a bigger squad to cope with it, and the income being no great strokes.
Though not actually fundraising it could be prudent not to enter and run with a smaller squad knowing full well the loan market is there for 90% of the season.
For what Butler got out of it last season and it can’t have been a lot other than knowing from the first game in the main his squad players weren’t good enough and entering made them no better for it.

Of course I’ll be expecting better, a top 3 finish after the consolidation of last season, and maybe hitting form at the end of season instead of losing it from February onwards.
If the board start to fund a mediocre budget they’ll end up with a mediocre crowd, if success on the pitch isn’t forthcoming.

Surely Positive Dave as to be that person.
Arm round the incoming player with that thumb in the air photo, so he can show it to his family that means more to him than any football club. Or is that the Carlsberg advert.

I think it’s fair to say that the club aren’t the best communicators on subjects like that, unless obviously they want your money.
No matter what 64 says (he wants to live in a vacuum) fans want to here about those type of things, it sells the club or should do.
Other clubs let you know how season ticket sales are doing and compare to the previous season, just little things to keep the natives interest up on a more positive note.

All depends on what the questions are.
Just doing ok overall for me, a lack lustre promotion, followed by a better season football wise but far to many bumps in the road for a real shot at promotion.
He’s done good bringing players in on the attacking side overall, Less so defensively and goalie wise.
Never wanted him in the first place just for being ex scunny, don’t want him even more so now because of his fan comments, many of the fans he moans about will be here long after he’s f off. But of course I hope succeeds will do whoever the manager is.
Big season for him this season expectations will be higher, even more so now the 2 big money clubs have gone.
We’ll all make a better judgement once the team is assembled.

Butler doesn’t rate Beestin to be anymore than a bench warmer only played 60 mins or more in 6 games since early December and only one game of 90 mins. 16 of those games less than 45 mins, so obviously Butler doesn’t think he’s the answer.

Certainly not at the moment Blt, but let’s see who we get in first.
No squad is good enough for the next level, every squad needs improving when moving up a level that’s why I’ve slagged everyone off when they say we aren’t ready.
But you have drooled over Roberts and Ewing nothing wrong mind they’re both good players well capable of an higher level as are others still at the club.

Something to do with controlling and coercive behaviour, arrested on the 19th of may, and once the herd get going there’s no stopping them we all know that to our cost.

Let’s hope Rob Smethurst wants to pump money into our club.
Being relieved of his chairman’s duties at Macclesfield, certainly done a sterling job there and not being scared to splash the cash to rise up the leagues.

Biggest football bog wall I’ve seen to be fair.
Reminds me of the kop in the seventies no trough and the piss just run down the steps it really was an hovel, all seating grounds for them must have been like heaven having easy access to toilets.
I can say that was the one and only good thing to come out from the Hillsborough tragedy.
Ya can stick your all seating, you can stick allocated seating, you can stick all ticketing matches, give me pay on the gate anyday if you don’t get in then tough titty as they used to say.

Doubt Butler would get tapped up by an under 14yr old team.
    Let alone a league club.

Well bugger me didn’t realise we had such dross playing for us and there was me thinking they were the main stay of our team.
    Underplaying it or what.
F ing disgrace that the club have let him leave for Fgr.

That’s what young lads have to do iron64 go out to a smaller club and believe in your ability and yourself, and prove Leicester maybe got it wrong.
Turned out the move was good for him and us.
Another credit to Butler for giving him the chance.

Yes an early one for me Deerey, Butler asked if I’d do a bit of scouting in Crete going to look at Georgios Dropalote he’s currently playing in under 14 schoolboy team.

My take on it is, that throughout the season (on here anyway) Ewing wanted to play at an higher level after proving himself here, club more or less excepted that but activated the extension so if a bigger club wanted him we would then get a fee without holding the player back.
A move to Forest green rovers wouldn’t fit that criteria, at least fan wise so to sell him on to them wouldn’t be acceptable and would cause rage within certain areas of the fanbase.
No way are FGR a bigger club than us fans wise or history wise.
If the club shows no commitment to the fans then as before fans will walk.

Yes they’re league clubs NI league clubs that are playing a number of non league clubs
Grimsby playing 3 Hartlepool and Boston being 2 of them.
Doncaster playing 4 NL Harrogate being one.
Lincoln also playing Boston, plus league clubs Doncaster and Grimsby, looks like the only one missing there is us, hopefully still dates left for us to fit in.

For balance, so easy to apologise when you decided you didn’t want to leave the club after all, and wanted a nice easy way back in. Guess Dave’s family didn’t mean as much to him as he said it did when leaving for the first time, mind he’d only been a fan for a couple of years anyway easy come easy go type of guy would seem.
Just like tuther one called Stu who came out and said what he really wanted say because he was leaving the unity group leadership, another one who was going to leave the club because the club didn’t get him a ticket for the Hereford game.
    Full of shite at best.

    Friendlies.Doncaster have announced 6, Grimsby 6 and Lincoln 4.
We have announced none even though we have one against Spalding arranged.
We really are backwards in coming forwards.

No first Grimsby away was in 71 on a good Friday, back then it was tradition being a fishing village but no real tradition for a day off in Scunny.
Trains in them days stopped at Grimsby town during off season, police lined us up outside station and told us to split up into no more than 3 people, got chased everywhere and it’s not a short walk from there.
They were the days, such a relief to get home safe from many a game didn’t matter where we went we were always outnumbered, and always went in the home end though, no segregation back then.

Roberts nagh, Keegan nagh, Keegan at Liverpool I would imagine so.
Got to have put the years in or score some important goal, Byrne and Garcia did both.
Kevin van Veen for his goal at Grimsby the only time in my 58 years of watching we won at their place.
Goalies, Barnard and Murphy deserve to be there imo.
