When I go and buy a newspaper, TV licence or broadband, the vendor just sells me that product. Scunny should do the same, last time I looked we were a football club not a media empire.
Int old days Scunny were grateful for the free promotion from the Evening telegraph, well that was till Swanny wanted to charge them, then I believe many of you thought that was wrong just saying mind.

You do realise that you 64 started the ‘Iron insider’ thread.
You do come across very weird, make your mind up 2 weeks ago you said the club were classing you as a second class fan, said your getting sick of the club and screw the club.
Now your fully behind the club yes your very weird to say the least.
Ps, two faced as well it would seem.

Don’t think you get it how it works 64, they run an entertainment business they have to entice me to use, never paid directly for info on the club for over 50 years and ain’t gonna start now.
And if I go down there I’ve always expected to pay an entrance fee.

The club is just a business for them Deerey.
But I love my team and will watch them where and wherever I want no matter who’s in charge, I’m not like others who won’t watch another game while a certain owner, manager or player (Hopper comes to mind with the Barton one).
Lots of people hate flying but doesn’t stop em going on holiday.
Hate was probably to strong but you know where I stand.

    Who’s to say they won’t at 11am.
Other means questionable Apollo! at 11am maybe get everyone’s first fixture, but normally takes a couple of days before sites like footballer pages get the full list up.
Don’t get me wrong I’ll soon get them by going on the other 22 web sites, but hopefully I shouldn’t have to.
Would just make me hate the club that little bit more.

Bloody disgusting they’re charging for injury info on Beestin and the like, evidently he’s had a double hernia op.
Came out in the paid Butler interview.

Well the first legend for Man utd has been announced and it’s the Legendary Chris Eagles bring it on!
Ticket sales going well over 1100 sold already, paying good money out just for the name Man Utd, don’t matter it’s f all to do with Man Utd mind.

Still don’t buy the goalie warming his arse with very little chance of getting on at all.
Butler’s not all that keen played nigh on 25% of games last season without one.
Rochdale didn’t even bother with one in the playoffs.
If we are going to have one maybe start using him and bring him on to give him game time.

A keeper on the bench is a waste, only needed on a very rare occasion.
    Much prefer another attacker.

Bobby Charlton’s goal stopped the traffic in Mexico city and people went to pray, what a legend goal.
    And what a screamer.
England’s best forward till now but I must admit Kane has taken that mantle away from him.
    Rooney absolutely nowhere.

Afraid the friendly against Chesterfield would take preference over legends game even if it was to be on the Friday cos some numpty let Norlait in.
To be honest I was expecting a little better than Chesterfield but hey ho it’s a league club at home, guess most clubs else had got theirs already arranged, again Scunny expecting fans to fork out Friday/Sunday.
Whoever does the arranging needs to do better next season.

Like a couple of posters on the tuther side have said just because other clubs have doesn’t mean we have to.
One has researched and found that he could get a standard season ticket and parking at premiership Hull city as what he pays for his executive ticket and parking at Scunny 28% increase he says!
Wouldn’t be so bad if the board came out and say we’re going to break the bank to get out this league, fans would be more inclined to get behind them.
Not what non league football is renowned for or the ethics of it.

    What they offered.
1, 17% minimum increase in season ticket prices.
2, £10 pounds charge for a physical season ticket free all other seasons.
3, no player signings announced until someone paid for them.
4, £6 a month to join the iron insider everything been free up to now.
5, advantage seats £24 for seat naming.
Sorry if I’ve missed anything else out.
And all this since the season ended and still with over a month to go before season start, have other clubs really tried to milk the fans as much has ours have.

Or Cass £42,95 gets you a engraved brick in the centenary wall and that’s forever, and which is viewed by thousands who go to the club ticket office and shop.

Now let’s see a solid brick in Peter Swanns wall or a piece of plastic tat from the present incumbents.

The cost was advertised when the new site opened, just some of you to blind to see.

The cost off stickers and labour is born by the company Advantage sponsorship not the club, the club only get 75% of the fee Advantage get the rest.
What the company really want is the advertising on the back of your seat the one you’ll see all game not your own personal one, still £24 a pop with a minimum of 10 seats required.

So 64 and Apollo no matter how much you try and defend and justify the club will just take any money from any one, as you can see on a regular basis.
Wonder how many times the club turn round to a company and say sorry we don’t except the values of your scheme and refuse to offer it to the fans lol.

Contacted them myself, (contact form top of their page) to let them know my feelings.

Asked them to stop their money grabbing and told them imo it’s tarnishing the club with all the begging.
    I await a reply lol.

Wonder if the club have ever thought about organising a game against somebody at home and maybe call it a preseason friendly. Maybe even charge fans to come and watch, ok novel idea I know but I believe it could work and bring income in.
Especially say against Hull city who’s fans will fill the end.

Nagh stupid idea let’s think of other ways to beg for money.

Wife wading in on social media exacerbated it all for the club, up till her intervention all we knew was the club had offered him a contract, in the fans eyes that’s great clubs done their best.

Only when his wife said the offer was just above minimum wage did we get the real picture, as many said at the time the club shouldn’t have offered a contract at all rather than offer an embarrassing one.
Fair play to Butterfield for not holding a grudge, though 2 years down the line it was probably is best or only option, always came across very well with fans he even donated the £500 to help pay the wages at the time.
Hope he uses us as a stepping stone in his career.

On Butler the only club who’d take him would be Doncaster, can’t think of a reason why lol.

    Bout bang on BB26.
    Same with you Deerey.

At the time much the same as Ewing once we lost him evidently he wasn’t such a great player after all.
God knows what Lesgeo thinks of him re signing.

Makes you wonder why we re signed Burrows everyone on here had him earmarked for the coaching role.

And didn’t he fit that role perfectly when he left us 2 years ago Sodiron, wonder what’s changed in Butler’s mind other than he’s 2 years older now.
Doesn’t seem the best way of spending a tight budget at the club.

I read it on voice of the fans and thought there was to be a consultation and voting, but reading it again said about working with them more probably about the launch again.

Minutes of their meetings not been moved to the new site as of yet.

Boring maybe Ironawe but till the club change and get the kit out early and after all there’s no reason not to, I’ll keep the thread going every year thanks, not like we haven’t seen the club change other things.
