Roberts nagh, Keegan nagh, Keegan at Liverpool I would imagine so.
Got to have put the years in or score some important goal, Byrne and Garcia did both.
Kevin van Veen for his goal at Grimsby the only time in my 58 years of watching we won at their place.
Goalies, Barnard and Murphy deserve to be there imo.

Never heard of them, are they worth a punt on loan like Toney.

No need to panic, well at least for a couple of weeks.

We got Mark Beck but probably paid more for him.
Some you’ll win and some you won’t.
Butler’s quids in, is forward signings overall have been more on the winning side than not, Carlton goals took us up, Decs a proven goalscorer and had a great first season considering played out of position for most of it, and not being wanted for some of it.
Hope Butler can find another one for us.

Chester didn’t release him as such,he made it clear he wanted a move and wouldn’t be signing a new contract, he just couldn’t commit to the extended training schedule that was being introduced, he also works for his father, obviously location will have been a factor in the decision as well.
From reports though I expected him to move to an higher league.

The good old, he didn’t have any money story again.
Yet passed the proof of funding to the national league and the FA that he had sufficient funds to fund the club for at least 12 months, (24 months in the EFL).
He had the money he just decided to stop the funding.
Obviously leaving the club in the shite, but what was it to him, no association with the club, fans didn’t like him, met with resistance at every turn.
And so he went, never should he be allowed near a football club again. Yawn yawn yawn.

What was so wrong with a man and son walking on the pitch 64, I take it the game had finished.
I would imagine it’s the Southend game your talking about, much about nothing there albeit to early.
Having said that didn’t stop us going on against Crewe and Swansea celebrating getting to Wembley.
Nor did it stop Andy Crosby with the England flag running on the pitch prior the Swansea came and planting it in front of Welsh. Very Farage esq.
On the dozens of stewards surely you know they are there because of the Sag regulations, remember something Honest Dave tried to get round to save the himself and the club money, oh what a kerfuffle on here you’d think he tried to bring back hanging. (Re, training at Ilkeston, ticket office and shop only open part time, training at Ilkeston) Bye the bye.
The club don’t dictate on policing either it’s down to them to perceive risk the though they’re are totally shit at it, hundreds of police at the Tamworth home game when only 99 away fans turned up lol, course you need massive police presence when scunny turn up localish especially when it’s the first away game. Same with the lincs cup wanting to over police the Grimsby game so it has to be played behind closed doors because of cost say scunny, in December in the middle of the day midweek.

Funny you should say that 64 watched that warship program last night, where a 17yr old was in charge (driving) HMS Dragon and he hadn’t passed his driving test.
    If that’s context for you.

You can’t just take Matlock, Ilkeston out of the equation. They are proof that he can and does run a football club.
What are the different circumstances your referring to.

Hilton broke that order and still does at Matlock.
Roberts was his 11th signing by the 19th of June.
Whitehall, Fitz and Clunan before the 23rd of May. Sigh!

The plan they have isn’t working, they want the ground to bring money in 7 days a week, it’s never going to happen and they’ve got to get over it.
Where’s the plans for the strip of land next to the Costa, all this time and zilch from them, the club needs restructuring Hilton started but it as not being took forward, shop and offices open 5 days a week ffs we’ve being non league now for 5 seasons we can’t afford it.

And there was me thinking I was the only one who wants an owner to throw money at the club and bugger the consequences.
What harm as it done Crystal palace and others for that matter admin twice for them, Macclesfield, Bury.
    Bugger ya sustainability.

I was being sarcastic SI with the young manager, they on here who promote it on her mean inexperienced when in fact he’s managed 127 games, plus god knows how many girlie games.

I hope the 17% increase extra for a season ticket and the same on general admission mostly goes on the playing budget otherwise there’s something sadly going wrong down there.

Bit early yet, the season finished 2 wks earlier than last season, don’t think we signed anyone till the 9th of June.
This time last season Butler had only announced the retained list, and this year though I’m sure he working on it can be forgiven his wife just had their first child so his mind will not be totally on the team as yet.
Don’t get me wrong his family planning was not the best being a football manager, but he’s only a young manager and a lot to learn. Lol.
Not like us 14yr old team managers who had the sense to not get married until the season was finished, wifey wanted the 3rd of may but that was cup final day (when the cup meant something) so the 10th it was, not an hard thing to arrange.
    Butler knows best.

Yeah the 80 odd goals between them showed what a bad combination they were.
Tis it cos Hilton and Dean signed them you have that chip on your shoulder.

The club need to make the most of it, get a premier league team to officially open it in a friendly after the world cup finishes, Hull city will do, go for the holy trinity and get the cods and Lincoln here as well.
Money to be made certainly more than the Weekender or the family day. Obviously class them all as category A games to pay for stewarding and policing.

“Pounds for the pitch” another failed effort looking at raising £100,000 they didn’t get to a quarter of the first target of £10,000, (there were 6) billy the squib never took off I’m afraid.
Their pitch squares faired better with over £13,000 raised so far.
Glad to see they’re going the right way with an hybrid.

Agreed, but an extra 10% for category B and an extra 15% for an A game is hardly a small adjustment as the club states.
But the thread is about introducing A and B category games, why is there an increased risk level this year that weren’t there last season, it’s all a con.

And not one of the teams you mentioned brought more than 700 fans.
The more sensible approach could be to house all other team fans at the end of the threadgold stand and save money on gatemen and catering, many teams bringing less than 100 fans one who only brought 23, rather than penalise both home fans and away fans that bring a reasonable amount.

Just seen the club have brought category matches back in, that’s really poor.
