As the great man said ‘attack wins you games defence wins you titles’

A strong defence stops you losing when the attack fails, and it all starts with the goalkeeper.

That’s once this season MK, we saw last season and the fans tried to be positive with him at games cleggy and Tamworth but a clangers a clanger and the pressure just got to him, can’t imagine how he’d be coming in at this moment in time especially at home.
Maybe Sutton away only the diehards will be there so wouldn’t matter so much.

You remember the shout in deafly silence at cleggy ‘Butler we need a goalie’ a year and a bit on and it’s just the same.
Thought jones wasn’t to bad last season but he’s showing frailty now.

Tuther than Savage who ya talking about, Butler played 634 games who’s got a better pedigree or more experience.
Certainly not Rob Elliot, Billy Rowley.
Kieron Dyer first managerial appointment got the better of Butler second game in,, no non league experience needed.
How many clubs are bigger than us in this league, and back to Butler speak the good old bigger budget.
Didn’t count for f all when Brackley and Tamworth beat us to the titles.

I’m hoping he wants out, imagine being benched for someone who’s never scored a league goal and gets to play in a 2 something that Danny or Dec are rarely given the luxury of.
Illness or not he starts can always be substituted.
Same as the manager he deserves his 10 games he’s earned it.

I’m with you Apollo didn’t see any of the game mind, but from the report and Butler’s interview we would seem hard done to, not that I’m keen on a draw especially 4-4 if your gonna score 4 away from home you need to be taking all 3pts.
Fully expect us to beat Harrogate unless of course they’ve got a bigger budget than us.

Bradford city hardly ever used their budget advantage, and we never used our bigger budget than everyone in the NLn or the cups for that matter over the last few years.
The bigger budget is becoming tiresome now as is it’s only 5 games, we overachieved last season, and so on.

Club should just disown this one, not of their own making, nor most Scunny fans either.

There was no battle to get the ground made a community asset, they just applied as they were the only ones who could and went through the normal due process.
As for the 4 owners they’re putting loads of money in whether it’s all loans I do not know.
As for Mr Collinson the other director?

I’d sub the keeper at half time if only as a message to the fans.

A win for me if it’s 20 years since we last won there, Butler FD up last season with them, time for redemption.
Beestin threw the win away in 2021, probably the only player out of the 2 teams to still be involved.

Only found 6 on your list but they’re yours if you want them.

Also found 83/84 Wimbledon, Walsall, Leeds away cup 2nd replay home.

    82 Tottenham pre season friendly

    Grimsby pre season 2000.

Pods 8,45 or 10,45 Mon, weds and Friday or Sainsbury’s whenever.

Need a big squad to cope with the demands of the NL cup.
Let’s see how the next few results go, if negative maybe put everything in to winning it.

Why the change in statical review on the Owp gone from numerical bollocks that I couldn’t understand to now a descriptive review that I could.
Don’t get me wrong I hope they carry on that way, you don’t think someone’s had a word to not rely on numbers that don’t tell the truth on games.

Quite a few said he was to old after he left, had a poor run in to the season end, trying to convince others. And of course our mod didn’t rate him anyway.
Funnily enough I praised Butler at the time for letting him go for the obvious reasons of him being a threat to his job, guess Butler is so settled and so arrogant and conceited (which we’ve heard from his interviews) that he doesn’t feel he’s a threat anymore.
