Butler just comes across as a complete c when handed a microphone.

Probably bit harsh with the pathetic RHB, but still not good.
Wetherspoons in town, car park directly behind it, no hassle even when we hosted Millwall in the playoffs.
Out the car park then one straight road down to the ground.
Evidently the food in the ground is good as well.1000+ on a Tuesday night will be an excellent turnout RHB, our board said you’d sell out in an hour.
They know f all about fans and as certainly showed down the years at our club. Why the pathetic 402 fans for the league game? Were there travel issues.
And yet the club still want fans to pay for the rest of the pitch. Have they no shame.
402 fans is Not a decent following from a team that averages over 8000 at home Deerey.
Sold over 800 to season ticket holders already for Tuesdays game though, now that’s more like it should be.
I’ll stay within the title of the thread.
50/50 draw as they’ve just referred to on a new post on the Owp, £40,000 plus tickets sold and get this more than £10,000 given back in prizes, if my maths are correct that makes it more of a 75/25 draw.
Announced there would be a £500 first prize yesterday but on their Facebook page it says the winner only got £250.
Is that the best the club can do.Don’t you know saleiron the NL take into account travelling distances for midweek games lol.
Every season They consider at length midweek fixtures knowing clubs and fans don’t want to travel large distances.
Then they announce the fixtures the very next day and woe and behold our first midweek away game is Eastleigh away. Along with Carlisle and Boreham wood.Well Whitehall’s due a goal that’s ten now without scoring, the good thing is they know when it’s a big game this season bar one and they’ve at least turned up, and that’s all we can ask for.
Up for grabs for everyone.Great crowd by the way for a dead rubber.

Just said exactly the same to my mate if only they didn’t invade the pitch, he reminded me almost the same happened last year when the ref appeared not to know how long to play.
Anyway you had me, couldn’t believe it when your post disappeared only then to find out York had equalised.

Where’s ya dale thread gone Deerey.
Funny old game innit.Very strong lineup, here’s hoping.
Didn’t make the game the car we were going in broke down Friday night.
Different recollections Ironawe, didn’t see us going under the radar at all,we saw it has the big promotion game even though it was only mid February, we hadn’t lost since 6th November and only lost 4 league games all season, I think the win put us top of the league certainly enough to down a bottle of whiskey that night.
Funny how we all have different recollections twas 54 years ago mind, obviously for me it was a day and time I will never forget.
Oh to be young and stupid instead of old and stupid Deerey.

Bloody hell senility setting in there Ironawe lol.
And I pride myself on my memory.
First year of apprenticeship, money in pockets, first year of drinking alcohol, stomach pump and alcoholic poisoning after the Brentford away game. How the hell did I forget that. wtf. Can’t agree there MK it was his player that scored the goals that took us up.
Duncan going well early season appeals for the crowd to turn up against Bury and they did 6300 of us up 3000 from previous home game. And another no show, never got above 5000 again that season.
His team was going nowhere.
Clarke came in and got me my first promotion.1 user thanked author for this post.
See the club took one idea forward from the vof (not saying it was their idea mind) the club are providing period points for all you fannies.
Billy as player manager could be the future for you inbreds.
To be honest would you want someone coming in of that age as a coach, potentially who’d take your job just like he did himself do.
Same when Cliff Byrne wasn’t offered a new contract from the then manager in charge, bit like expecting turkey’s to vote for Xmas.
The correct decision for Butler.1 user thanked author for this post.
No thanks Deerey ugh.
Adkins didn’t used to get grief when playing weakened teams when trying to keep us in the in the championship, which he did, mind you he did tell us that was what he was doing and why he was doing it.
Don’t mind a weakened team in the fa trophy game and getting out of it, but once we’ve got through 2 rounds and the quarter finals in sight to then play another weakened team just doesn’t make sense.
Saturday playing a weakened team makes sense certainly if the Gateshead game did to him when we’d finally got rid of mid week games.
It’s only Butler’s bizarre decisions at times that Butler gets grief, from his subs, his belief that we didn’t need a number 1 goalie during pre season, is teams continually conceding in added time and costing us dear, his team selections, his criticism of fans.
It’s only the same as most managers get from forum’s and inside grounds all the way round the country,Well we made 7 against Gateshead Deerey.
But there’s no set number for any team more the key players you leave out.
Example, leaving your 2 top goalscorers out of the first 11 when you’ve had an 11 game unbeaten start to the season. Bet you can’t tell me what happened next.

Lap of honour maybe?
The other top 6 managers Deerey, they’ve not played weakened sides.
Like I said on this thread 17th of April listen to Maher on his pre Halifax game (resting of players) he puts out sides to win, Butler said after Gateshead he puts out a team to represent Sufc.

Maher made a lot of changes but still put in a performance for the 168 fans who travelled.
Rather not play Southend having beat them twice already but we’re there and at least at home. You get them from a custom made company much the same as where PD gets is mugs from.
And May I recommend FC stickers and please purchase the grandsons Harrytalksfood. Lol.
We used to sing that about Winston Donny’s top boy besides calling him Winston the W*g. No arrests no nothing back then just a different time.
Isn’t there a racial slur in there to the Belehouan song, whatever it’s not going to stop fans singing it.
If there were malice in it then that would be something else but it’s just a song.If that be the case then yes someone and I take it was just one person was wearing said stiker.
Obviously from what I’ve seen is the craze over the last few years is to sticker up grounds, road furniture, tubes, buses, toilets basically anywhere you can put a sticker on, on what you saw is not the norm.
Had a word with my 14 year old grandson saying people didn’t like politics brought into football before Saturday sadly fell on deaf ears, the tube had regular outbursts of “Keir Starmers a wanker” you know the tune, which did appear to make the natives smile.
It’s there time now and I guess they will set the narrative just like we did when we were the youth.Certainly a lot more racially aggravated back in my day 3 of ours jailed for Pa*I bashing, the same word chants, the n word was sung regularly.
Dancing like Starmer there 64.
What you saw were some stickers, big difference between that and someone wearing them.
“Farage is far right, and they wear his stickers”
Which in both statements is factually incorrect.1 user thanked author for this post.
