“Sutton United and Forest Green Rovers have reached a club-to-cub agreement for the transfer of the 25-year-old, who is scheduled to finalise the switch on Wednesday. Forest Green Rovers have agreed to part ways with Babalola for a fee of £30,000. The striker scored four goals in 19 appearances for Forest Green Rovers during the recently concluded season, while accumulating 1,267 minutes of action in the National League.”
£30k for a striker that scores every 300+ minutes. What might we get?
Not a lot…
Another manager not playing him correctly, or is that charge limited to any old Iron manager the fans don’t Ike?
We got Mark Beck but probably paid more for him.
Some you’ll win and some you won’t.
Butler’s quids in, is forward signings overall have been more on the winning side than not, Carlton goals took us up, Decs a proven goalscorer and had a great first season considering played out of position for most of it, and not being wanted for some of it.
Hope Butler can find another one for us.
Newcastle United paid £124 million for Woltemade and Wissa.
Great value for money eh?
Never heard of them, are they worth a punt on loan like Toney.
